Had a great time. Went on a Sunday afternoon. The bartender put on a movie called Black Roses, its a Troma film from the 1980s and I LOVED IT!!! Some normie came in and told her to put a boring basketball game on... WACK! Still, the bartender put good music on. I recommend Monarch for some action! They know how to make cocktails.

Always awesome, resurrected the guy bar tenders, theres at least one chick that will ignore you unless youre a male, but I almost never see her, its one of my fav spots to grab a drink. The decor is so unique it feels like youre at a friends house for a party

Stopped by for a quick drink when through town and loved it. Theres an outdoor bar perch, a patio then various indoor spaces to sit. So many great little nooks and the vibe of this space is perfect. I highly recommend this place. I wish I wasnt been so worn out from traveling to have been able to hang longer. I expect this is a great weekend spot as it was quite slow during the week when I visited.

Ive been frequenting this bar for quite some time now and I can honestly say that Monarch is home to some of the best bar tenders and red beers in town! The place is cozy, but I certainly stay for the people. A DJ lovers paradise in the sense that they feature frequent DJ shows, some of which are performed by the bartenders themselves. Whether youre a day drinker, or an evening creature, this bar merits a visit. A bar with a heartbeat, totally recommend stopping by!

I visited this establishment recently to eat at Veggie Jackson the popular vegan food truck! I stopped inside for a moment and tried a margarita with mescal. The drink was mixed very nicely and tasted delicious. I don t like a strong alcohol taste as I don t drink often. Between the vibe and the music and the drinks I really enjoyed my time at Monarch.

Thanks for introducing us to the paletta (sic) shot, Monarch! This is a great corner bar and they have good punk rock/underground music shows often. If thats your thing, when in El Paso you should make a beeline to the Monarch. Highest recommendation, six stars out of five.

I have been there at least a dozen times, with friends and alone. I like the place, the beer selection and the spirits list, albeit short, will cover most desires. What really turns me off to the point of offense is the bartender. The same long haired guy with glasses other people have talked about. He manages to make you feel as if he is doing a big sacrifice for serving you a drink. It doesnt matter if its a beer or a whiskey with soda water. The guy has really a bad vibe to him and he contaminates the whole place with dark energy. I might go again because its midway between my job and my home, but I am not tripping him again. Or I might skip the place all together and go somewhere else. Just because of that bartender.
