A tucked out of the wave dive bar I used to frequent a couple times a month for a beer or two. Maybe even a round of pool. Its not a fancy or overpriced place. Pool tables take quarters. Good luck finding a good straight stick. You know the kind of place. The bartender will take your order, and serve your drink too. No kitchen menu so eat before you go. Always a welcoming group of folks despite appearances, mainly formed of party of one popping in to see whos at the local watering hole, or to meet up with familiar faces. Ive enjoyed chatting with guys getting off work as truck driver, drill rigger, or live nearby. All friendly...couple too drunk on occasion that needed a correction but I expect nothing less where cold beer still comes served in a can. Told ya, it aint a fancy place. Dont be frightened if a big group of people on motorcycles stops in. Never know what youre going to get at the River Bottom. All you expect from a dimly lit dive in a great location.

We were just passing through the area last night, and stopped off here and it was amazing! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the outdoor yard was neat! The bartender was absolutely amazing! We didn t know quite what to get but she helped us out, and even created new things for us to have! Will definitely be going back.

Genuinely used to enjoy coming here but will never recommend it again or go back. It s embarrassing seeing minors getting super wasted and obnoxious, it s so unprofessional to let teenagers who flaunt to other customers about their age and still be aloud to drink and drive home. I work at a bar and our standards are a lot higher than that. Will never again spend money there just to be bothered my kids who can t handle they re alcohol.

Ive been to this pub a couple of times with my son, we are from England and obviously didnt know anyone, but by the end of that first evening, everybody knew are names, just like in Cheers. Great place, very friendly and I highly recommend a visit. Oh, and Amanda, best bartender ever.x

Cute little hole in the wall where you can chill with friends, play pool, listen to live bands some nights, karaoke on others. The bartender, Amanda is super awesome and even has some of her own signature drinks. Definitely recommend if you aren t into the busy bar scene but still like to go somewhere to have a drink.

This is the perfect middle ground between dive and neighborhood bar. Very friendly staff and customers, solid drinks and a small tab. Huge patio out back with live music. If the live music isnt for you thats fine, you cant see or hear it indoors. Full bar (liquor beer wine), small bar snack menu, indoor smoking, three pool tables, slots, touchtunes, cigarette vending machine, clean private bathrooms. Kid-friendliness: In a family bar kind of way, sure. Im not sure Id recommend it from a parenting standpoint.

Badass dive bar! The out back area is awesome! Have mosquito candles at the tables etc. The bartender Chelsea is such a sweetheart and she makes sure you re taken care of! Good Vibes for sure! Oh! I can t review, but it looks so different and sounds great now. It was pretty scary when I was nine or ten. Walked by there so many times headed home in the dark from the Far East end of Randolph Mill. As I walked in the dark as cars came with their headlights I d hide in the grass or behind trees. I d creep bast the bar and so didn t want anyone to come out and see me. I never understood s I got older why the bus driver ever let me off at the last stop at the George s home off that river road. I ve past but your club a few time but never stopped. My mom came there in the 50 s, flipped her car one night after leaving there. She was fine ego bruised a bit. I guess I was a traveling little Tom girl. We were building our house off Kuban and burned down in August 1962, That s me about 6 helping lay bricks, that was my Romanian Mom. yes Id love to come and visit, It was in the 50s when i use to sneak by there. in the 80s my daughters use to ride by there to the bridge. yes youve done a lot with the place.

This is a place way off in the back of pretty much nothing theyre now improving the roadway in and out of it Ive only been there twice the environment seem to be relaxed they do have a large stage Outback in a lot of area for live music but Ive never actually seen anybody performed there Update: this place turned out to be amazing under New Management revamping the whole feel of the bar the atmosphere is great the people are great the owner is amazing shout out to Lisa and Ive now seen Abby Brown in the sound perform there several times always a great show always a great venue.

Great place !! They have karaoke friday nights , live bands on Saturdays, darts, pool tables an outdoor sitting area, frisbee golf. When you walk in the door the owner and staff make you feel like youre family . Ots a fun environment and a great place to meet new friends.
