What a great result. Mike and his legal team got my ancle monitor removed after I plead with the judge for over 4 months. Very responsive to questions, even on weekends. I will be using Mike and his team to get me off of my probation earlier as I have complete confidence in them now. Knocked it out of the park for me. His consultation was extremely informative with all the possibilities of my case, and he even recommended against making use of his services until certain events took place, but I decided to retain him anyway as a precautionary measure and Mike agreed to hold onto my funds and even refund them if nothing came of my case. From my personal experience, I was assigned a pro bono attorney by the court. I m an upset the lack of communication I text through the app and it s just read I try calling and I m just giving a simple he s in a call right now my early termination of probation was denied when for a whole week I was given the green light and high hopes everything will be seal within days now just 9/2 I was given the response that I wasn t able to get it. This is my first ever event to need legal counsel so I was very troubled to look for a lawyer in criminal law, I googled lawyers and Mike Howard stood out but still contacted multiple lawyers. I reached out to Mr. Howard about legal process granting early discharge from community supervision. My probation officer was not supportive and made this difficult or not possible to happen. Mike Howard is truly a one of a kind individual in his profession. I have had plenty of experiences with many other lawyers before in various areas, but Mike stands out and outshines any other. For most of us the year 2020 in itself was a difficult time. At least for myself I can say it was that and so much more! At the beginning of the year I found myself in a terrible situation after I was viciously attacked and nearly killed by my ex-boyfriend. As a result I was rushed to the hospital by paramedics to be cared for. It is when I am getting ready to finally leave the hospital that I am arrested by the police, who never even asked me what happened, for FELONY Assault Family Violence after my ex completely lied to them. A felony charge is very serious and can jeopardize a persons career, education, and family destroying any prospects of the future. When it is your life that matters, you have to hire the best. After days of searching and consulting with countless attorneys who did not rise up to that level is when I met Mike Howard. He immediately went to work and obtained all of the records surrounding my case from the DA and went over them in detail himself, BEFORE my consultation with him! I didnt even hire him yet! This allowed for him to already have in-depth knowledge of my case while he went over everything with me from beginning to end. Mike was so thorough, professional, understanding, detail oriented, and so easy to talk to. With a situation being so traumatic he made sure that I was comfortable and could trust him. He listened to and answered all of my questions throughout to address and concerns I may have. Mike then explained to me the process going forward and how he would implicate the robust defense that he built for me to ensure that this case would be thrown out and never even go to trial. Amongst this I was also served a Protective Order which would be a separate case in a Civil court arising out of this. Even though Mike specializes in Criminal Defense, he agreed to defend me in this Civil case since he knew how intricate my case was and wanted to see through that I got the best there is. Mike went into that hearing and aggressively took control of the narrative, immediately making it clear to the judge that I was innocent who then DISMISSED the Civil case! Not long after this the prosecutor finally filed the felony charge to be presented to a Grand Jury. Mike made sure that he was able to present a defense to the Grand Jury so that they could see the truth in what really happened. Because of this, the Grand Jury No Billed the charge and it was finally over. Mike was able to end this nightmare for me and went on to get an Expunction so that not only could I now move forward and leave this all in my past, but that my future would also be protected. There isnt enough thanks or gratitude in the world that I could extend to both Mike and Kelsey. At a time where I almost had my life taken from me, Mike was there to prevent that from happening and protecting my future. Mike is so much more than just a Criminal Defense Attorney and is the only choice for anyone who finds themselves needing one.

I have been on probation for 4 years of a 10 year sentence. My probation came with very restrictive conditions. I went to Mike Howard not really thinking that anything could be done or change, but I wanted to try. Mike proved to me that it could be done and things can change. Have you ever generously tipped a lawyer? I have, for the first time ever, and out of gratitude for Mikes excellent job in achieving the best possible outcome: a baseless Felony 2 criminal accusation nipped in the bud. Yes, someone close to me lied without fully realizing the consequences of his actions, and that threatened me with a jail sentence longer than my life expectancy. Another attorney who I talked to before Mike (well-known, experienced and who had led that exact prosecutors office years prior) simply shook his head repeatedly, threw his chair back, and demanded $25k to take my case. Not a dime less, and all paid upfront. Thats how bad things looked for me. I could tell that Mike too was concerned by the apparent challenges in my case, but he also saw hope and accepted to take it for what I thought was a reasonable, fair rate that matched his expectations of what needed to be done. He helped me navigate from the shock of the initial accusation to marshaling evidence and wracking my memory for details, to dealing with the detective. - his own very descriptive words of his work, to which I would add that he was very patient with me and explained in detail the many possible steps and outcomes. He was prompt, on top of the case, took to memory details that even I didnt, and overall partnered with me in an intense and present manner. I was never another case, and I could tell that he was really committed to keeping my pristine rap sheet blank. Skillfully he scoured the evidence to collect its many contradictions, and by so doing he was able to show the detective (whom I never met or talked to) the clear and convincing inconsistencies in my accusation. What had become a consuming nightmare for myself and my family went away one day with a joyful phone call from Mike to tell me the good news: the detective saw through it that I was innocent. I was never arrested, let alone charged. And then, a surprise: because the case didnt go as far as initially feared (due to his own efforts), he would charge me only a third of the initial fee. That meant he actually owed me money back! Understand now why I had to tip the guy? Hes the type of person that you want to cheer and encourage to succeed, for the betterment of mankind. Mike was able to help my husband and I through a difficult time with our teenage daughter. He made us feel very comfortable and explained everything that was going on at all times. I was the translator for Mike s client. The client was charged with a very serious and high level offense and thus needed an experienced attorney all the way from grand jury to trial. I simply cannot express how grateful, pleased, blessed, and a hundred other superlatives I cant think of right now, that Mike Howard represented me during the most difficult time of my life. I was charged with two serious offenses that jeopardized my life, and really, the lives of my friends and family as well. Mike Howard was a court appointed lawyer to us. We had our doubts thinking he wouldnt pay attention to our case since we didnt hire him personally. Well he proved us wrong!!
