Got a 2 meat plate. Ate half before i took this pic. It was pretty good meat and the sauce was enough and i had big portions of meat and mac n cheese. I cant complain about anything and I will visit this place again. Pretty good joint.

This place is hit or miss. Theres no consistency with the food or customer service. The fries were hot and fresh, but the rib sandwich was overcooked like tough can barely eat it. Hardly had any bbq sauce ask for extra thats a dollar. For some sauce. In which theres hardly any on the tough meat. The cashier was ok. The cooks rude loud dont care who hears them . Like wheres the customer service.

Everything about this place is very ghetto very dirty nasty the people in there are rude. Never been to a barbecue place with a man with a gun did not offer to fix my order that was not made properly. I ordered six E. I regret to say that I will not be returning to this business due to the poor customer service, unprofessional environment, and inappropriate behavior of the cooks. When I placed my order for a 6-piece wing, the cashier called it out to the cooks. As I was about to pay, I overheard one of the cooks loudly exclaim, Another one? Oh, Im going to make them wait at least 15 minutes! This comment was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. While waiting for my order, I witnessed the cooks leave the kitchen, go outside in front of the business, and smoke marijuana. They returned with a group of women they had been smoking with, and I overheard one of the cooks tell them, Im going to hook your order up, then head back to the car to finish hitting the blunt. All the while, multiple customers, including myself, were waiting for our food. My order took almost an hour to prepare, and although I didnt complain, I decided that I would no longer support this establishment. Additionally, I observed an Uber Eats driver who had arrived before me, waiting for an extended period after being told his order would only take two minutes. The staff was extremely rude to him when he expressed his frustration, treating him as if he were in the wrong. If the owner doesn t take action to address these issues, I doubt this business will thrive for much longer.

Waaaaaay too expensive for what you get $33/lb ribs is more expensive than Pecan Lodge or Cattleack BBQ -- but this is not on par with that kind of quality. Food takes 30min to get, even without a line They charge you an additional 3% for using your credit card. Really, the only positive is the generous portion sizes. The BBQ itself is not terrible, but you can go to Hardemans which is 2 miles south for comparable BBQ for half the price. Atmosphere is bare bones but doesnt have that hole-in-the-wall charm.

I have heard great things about this place and I am not impressed. We spent 65 bucks and I had the smallest ribs I have ever seen in my life I literally laughed!! The sauce was overpowering and the fries were old my son would not even eat them. I don t mind paying but 18 bucks for a plate of barbecue sauce and these small ribs is ridiculous. The kool was too sweet. My favorite movie was on though.

I normally don t leave reviews but this place was GARBAGE. The service was trash. The food was trash. My family and i try to support small businesses but this was an experience i wish i hadn t had. I ordered the 4 meat plate which was almost $30 which i don t mind paying but i only had two little ribs, two sausage links, one hard piece of brisket and one tender piece of brisket, a piece of old chicken that i couldn t even bite. Oh and i asked for my sauce to be on the side and due to poor listening skills, my food was drowned in sauce which is too spicy. The Mac and cheese was flavorless and the beans taste like straight hot sauce. Yall gotta do better!!!!

I took 1 bite into my food and found a HAIR IN MY FOOD . I came back in and they were arguing about whose hair it was. I then had to wait for a refund they told me they don t do refunds and accused of the hair being mine. They started laughing that I already took a bite of the food. I wondered why people I be sending to this place rate it way lower than I did , I finally figured that out as I did not understand, but the food here is hit or miss!!!! sometimes its fire and you may visit another time and it be complete garbage.... The food had a great taste, we really enjoyed the sausage and the baked beans! This was my husband and I s first time and we were very excited to try this place out. The young lady who took our order was sweet. We ordered two 2 meat plates, 2 drinks, total $46, included with an added $6 tip just for taking the order. ..waiting for our order, I walked back up to order a cup of ice - server: oh we are out of cups Me: ok, well let me get some lays potato chips - great that will be $1 . I used my card, no problem. Me: Ma am, just making sure the orders come with pickles and peppers server: oh they don t, but they are just .50 cents Me: ok - let me get two - I proceeded to pay with my card. Realizing we just got played , my husband went back up and just explained to another server the principle behind accommodating customers. It was .50! Use the tip that I gave you to provide basic condiments to bbq plates! - [and mind you I only received one order of pickles in the end ] To top it off, the original server didn t realize we were still in the restaurant eating and asked server #2 what we wanted when we returned back to the front. She proceeds, well I can t make up the prices and continues to talk disrespectfully not knowing we were still there. She does not understand basic customer service. Dear Doe s BBQ - please train your staff to accommodate customers, especially when we are already paying about $20 a plate. The tip offered even before service rendered and then when we(customer) ask for anything outside of the order, should be considered. PICKLES AND PEPPERS SHOULD BE GIVEN AS A COURTESY. Trust, this will not break your restaurant, they belong with all orders Thanks!

Finally made to try Does out,Did it on the recommendation of my Aunt.Brisket and ribs could have used a little more time on the grill,They were not super tender and lacked smoke flavor.Links were decent.My grandson shared a wing with me and they were cooked way too hard,even he didnt eat them.Sides are not consistent, My son and had beans that were seasoned with too much black pepper and almost too salty to eat,My daughters had a completely different taste.The guy in the kitchen came out and said no more potato orders because they didnt have any more ready.Most businesses dont add eggs to their potato salad and I would suggest that since you do you should post somewhere that your potato salad contain eggs.I am highly allergic and thank God that my palate is so sensitive to them I knew as soon as I took the first bite that it had eggs and was able to spit it out fast enough and was also able to alert my son who has the same allergy before he ate it.Overall I would say it may have just been an off day with the meats and would be willing to try it again. Dietary restrictions: Ease up on the seasoning a little,overseas owning can easily turn into too much salt.

Overall NO. Although the woman taking orders was kind, the food took absolutely entirely too long for a LINK & potato! After waiting an HOUR I finally get my food and it s lukewarm as if I didn t just wait an hour for fresh bbq? My friends and I won t come back again and it s unfortunate. Also the koolaid is 4$. I truly give them 5 starts for my 1st visit because EVERYTHING WAS TRULY GOOD .! For it to be so high the quality is well worth it, if you want Caucasian Cooked bbq dont go, but that burn they do is just right for people who like burn, but its not overwhelming. I dont usually do seasoned mac n cheese but for sure wasnt disappointed The pound cake, was not dry or nothhinnnggg lol chess pie and nanner (yes nanner) lol ...pudding all smashed by my kids and dad, Im not big on sweets... I ordered a sliced brisket sandwich no fat and I received a a chopped brisket sandwich with fat and they refused to correct my order. My bun was so soaked with grease I couldnt pick the sandwich up. I ordered 2 extra sides of bbq sauce, I only received one. The beans were terrible, tasted like Bushs baked beans with a lot of extra seasoning added. Way too much chili powder. Edit in response to owner: I was very specific when I ordered and stated sliced brisket sandwich twice, seems to me the cashier has a problem with her listening skills. Whatever it is youre putting in the beans is too much, all I cld see upon opening the container was black pepper and all I could taste was seasoning. The beans were terrible. After seeing the sign no refunds or exchanges makes me believe you guys know your food is terrible or the cashiers mess up all the time.

I had got an oxtail plate . I seen the pictures off Facebook and wanted to try as they looked wet and not dry like most places . They were good and wet as expected the only downside I would say is the oxtails and cabbage was kinda salty couldn t really enjoy it . And I m 28 so I can handle a little salt but they were too salty . My husband had baked chicken. He liked it but I think he should ve been told if it was dry or had cream of chicken on it though cus Heon really care for the cream of chicken. Kool aid 10stars. They have no good customer service I waited a hour for some nachos and 1 meat and than got mad when I asked how long it was gone take. Right after I asked how long it was going to take a customer that came and ordered a bake potato after I had already been waiting 30 minutes at that time get his food before mines. I asked how does a potato get mad faster than nachos. They young cashier started she don t work in the kitchen so she doesn t know. First and foremost it was raining so I had a 30 minute wait on my food because it s made to order. Made it to the car and the food was appealing to the eyes. I ordered the 3 meat plate and 2 sides with a peach cobbler dessert, took my first bite of the sausage and it was DESERT dry but had a nice flavor. Took a bite of my Brisket and I pictured myself standing in the middle of the Grand Canyon DRY. Took a bite of my ribs, seasoned real well but where is the meat? I like my meat moist. I believe it s not wrapped or it s under a warmer which drys it out. Peach cobbler looked so delicious and I couldn t wait to dig in. Took one bite it was COLD AND GOOD. I think it s store bought. I won t be back. Thanks though.

When I walked in I was told to take my hoodie off. Cool. I respect that but I look up and the lady at the register has on a bonnet. Represention. The atmosphere is dark. A little light could help the depressing feels in there. The food. First of all I am thankful my potatoes was cooked all the way through (kind of hard to find these days). It was good to taste but for some reason each time I eat off the potato I get nauseous. Who cooks your food and how they are feeling is important. Whoever prepared my food was emotionally/mentally hurt and tired.

Heard a lot of good things about this place but was disappointed. The brisket was tuffer than any other brisket Ive ever had. The sides were plain. On top of that I waited a whole hour to get a 3 meat plate and some wings. I know its not fast food but the BBQ should have only needed chopped into portions and the wings bo more than 30 minutes. I ve been a patron of this proprietor since his food truck days! Firstly, so proud to see they ve established themselves in a solid store front so everyone can find them and know how AMAZING their food is. I recently had a 3 meat plate ordered on DoorDash and let me tell you I almost drove up there just to shake his hand how good that food was. ALL OF IT! But I will say especially the ribs. God tier! Seasoning was on point, meat fell off the bone. Sauce was good! Good job, didn t miss a beat moving to a store front! Same quality good food as always! Today I purchased a baked potato w/2 meats ribs/brisket. A brisket sandwich & a rib sandwich. I must say I was very very disappointed with the baked potato. I had a scoop on one side of the potato under the brisket. I have had this baked potato a year ago but the rib wasnt seasoned like before and the meat ratio was not like before. Not sure if a different cook was cooking today but it was off and not a good off. I also tried the peach cobbler this time. I did receive alot more dough and not alot of peaches. I have had better but it wasnt the worse. For me I give it a 5.

This is an honest review. I m a major foodie and content creator here in the DFW area, so I ve tried a lot of food. This place has some of the best food I ve tasted in this city. I went for the Philly, but was open to exploring the menu. The madam taking my order was so sweet and nice!!! I know I got on her nerves cause I was so indecisive. She suggested the Philly and wing combo. I added queso and bbq sauce to my steak Philly. BBQ twist wings. When I say, I didn t even breathe for 5 minutes. It was that good! Okay let s be very honest here - I was starving so I didn t even bother taking a picture. First things first. 3 thin slices of brisket for a plate is INSANE. EXTREMELY DRIED OUT. Now the links were great but sending bread is not a thing for Doe s. They use dinner rolls for dinner plates which is standard ofc but atleast send two of them lil rolls now cmon. Im really blown away but the amount of Cheese sauce in the Mac vs actually baked Mac. 3.5 stars simply because I kinda like the flavor of the Mac but this is no different from STOVE TOP Mac. Brisket is a complete ZERO ! No flavor , DRIED OUT SO BAD , I will say the cuts were perfect though. Not fatty . Lean I enjoy lean brisket over moist. The links I will give 8.2 as they re just your average hot links but MILD and has just the right amount of spice. They also pre cut the link which is great. Everything went in the trash EXCEPT the 3 slices of brisket and the links. I could only stomach 4 bites of the Mac , upon opening the Mac it s sitting in a puddle of cheese. The first time I had does I had hated the Mac because it was way too much black pepper. I agreed with myself that I would go does another chance. Ordered a chicken sandwich and brisket the first time, COMPLETELY DRIED OUT. No diff from today. For 18$ you would think Dallas BBQ would be better. I have yet to find ONE bbq place that exceeds my Standards or even a SIMPLE standard of moist brisket. How is this the bbq state again? Anyone in reviews please drop some . Doe s while you sandwich and plate prices are fair you re CHEAP, CARELESS & selfish. Their BBQ is to die for! It is totally on point! And the prices are great. My husband and I always get the three meat bbq baked potato. It is so huge we can actually split it and we still cant finish it all. We get chopped beef, ribs, and hot links (thats 2 1/2 big ribs for only $20 and some change) and However I do not recommend their vegetables, or sweets the taste is off. That is why I gave the food a 4 star instead of a 5. I gave it a 4 star also on the service because the prices they show on the online menu and on the menu at the counter top are different, meaning higher. The atmosphere I gave a 4 star because the workers/people are friendly but its very small on the inside and not enough tables to sit down and eat. We usually order to go. Overall I highly recommend their bbq. Its the best Ive tasted in a very long time!! Parking: Its a store front so theres not a lot of close parking. but you can find a parking spot.

I didn t eat inside, I took my food home. Shout out to the brother at the counter that took my order, he was chill and made some good recommendations for me. Every thing I ate at this place was outstanding, even the links, and I hate links. This bbq was better than my best spot in Houston, I ve never heard of this place. I learned about it from dude on social media that rates everything Dallas, I think his name is TSPEED. I give this food a 10/10. The mac and cheese was delicious, baked beans were good just a little spicy for me. The ribs had a really weird smoky taste that I didnt like at all and last but not least the sausage was great. The service almost made me change my mind the lady on the register was rude and act like it irritated her when she was asked a question and good she doesnt handle food because she kept scratching her head not a good look on the front.

I ordered the 3 meat plate and got sausage, brisket, and ribs. The sausage was juicy and spicy and I really enjoyed them. The brisket was a little bland but the bit of flavor it had was really good, the ribs were very smokey and tender but had very little meat on them. for the side i ordered baked beans and expected traditional mexican baked beans but i got baked beans with the broth being bbq sauce mixed with something else, it was still pretty good tho. The workers were chill and helpful and atmosphere of the spot was nice with some good music playing while I waited for my food. I would ve rated 5 stars but I was charged for a 4 meat plate. Overall Solid 4/5 and I will definitely come back to try the wings and catfish

The food was average. I ordered the Stuffed turkey leg which was just a turkey leg with a 1/4 of the meat cut out and REMOVED to fill it with bland Mac and cheese. 2 Meat plate with a side which was a hotdog link, 3 dry, bland slices of brisket and baked beans. The prices listed on the menu did not match what they would charge you. Which is fine, just update your menu prices. Usually when you order a meal that comes with a drink, you have to pay separately for a drink. OVERKILL! The atmosphere was not welcoming at all. Menu is confusing and you as the (new) customer have to beckon the cashier to explain it. The dining area could use a deep cleaning. I try to support Black-owned businesses but tired of this being the same experience. Do better!

Visited today after our neighbors recommended them to us. Whew! Only thing we re mad about is that we didn t know about this spot a long time ago! The bbq was good and smokey and the sides were so good. You can tell this was fresh and homemade. We requested the sauce on the side and our order was perfect. The establishment was nice and clean and the staff was very nice. Shoutout to the sweet lady at the register, she was so kind and helped us decide on what to order. My husband from New Orleans and every food spot I ve taken him to out here he claim is mediocre, so when he said this food good I had to come write a review. Bought 2 turkey legs and one was spoiled, it had a sour smell to it. Took it back and explain what was wrong. They took the same turkey leg and recooked it then told me to smell it. Make sure your order is correct before you leave. *EDIT* 6/21/23 was an issue about payment today, even with proof that it was paid for via email, text and account, last result TO VERIFY my payment was I had to call my bank and record that my payment was paid and not on holding. Afterwards some of the associates was arguing about who was going to pay for my order although it was already paid for by me. A little disappointing BUT I DID get my order. I go there regularly as a DoorDasher. I went for the first time as a customer today. First of all they rushed me out and I didnt give my all of my order. When I got home I realized they didnt give me my cookie pudding dessert I paid for; which was very disappointing. Black pepper was overpowering Everything I ordered. My ribs were not fall-off-the-bone tender. They were tough, chewy and all the way done. So I put my ribs back in my oven until done. Then they were fine. My wife went into Doe s BQ and placed a to go order which included two loaded baked potatoes and asked that bar.bq sauce be on the side; after getting home with the order we found that they swamped the potatoes with bq sauce and they looked like hog swill, upon returning to the restaurant my wife asked to have them exchanged for a new order as originally requested. I have ordered atleast 20 times through UBER, and their beef ribs are the best, and the proportions are very generous. I have ordered chicken on 2 of my orders, the 1st time the chicken was a full, uncut thigh & leg, very juicy, however the 2nd time was regretful. So i tend to stick to the ribs and on once in a while i make brisket one of the proteins. They have very if not one of the best macncheese, the other sides not my cup of tea. I wish they added mashed potatoes, then they would be the best.
