Rooftop cinema is a fabulous experience. There is food to purchase, drinks and popcorn to purchase and a very nice ambiance. The seats with the cushions are comfortable and you get pretty much a good view from anywhere your seated. I recommend getting there early for the seating. They normally open one hour before the show starts. The whole experience is great and you can bring a blanket if you like to cozy up. I gave it a 4 star Because the food that is prepared by the hotel, its pricey as expected, however the quality is not to par with the pricing. We had the charcutri board and the tacos. The tacos were average and the charcuterie board had fruit that was unwashed and cheese that was warm. The wait for food was about forty five minutes. Overall, the experience was very nice as far as the movie and the customer service goes.

Such a cool experience! The outdoor games were fun to play before the movie, concessions were great (please try the elote hot dog - you won t be disappointed) and having headphones for the movie was useful for those who are there to socialize vs those who want to be invested in the movie. Drinks and food were prices you d expect at any theater so no complaints there either. We will be coming back for the Halloween movies showing in October!

Really enjoyed the movie. Went and watched Friday 13th, on Friday 13th. Parking isnt bad they validate your ticket for you if you decide to park in the garage. Purchased the popcorn tickets and they were a little slow with the orders but it wasnt too bad. The seats are a little uncomfortable because they dont recline but they do have a slight slant to them. I think the footstool would have definitely made a difference. I didnt try any food this time but the staff was very friendly. Ph and if you dont like to wear headphones, you may not like it, they did hurt my ears a bit.

My husband and I love Rooftop Cinema Club and I always recommend it. Whether it is date night, or a night out with friends. They even have family friendly movies. I love the atmosphere and vibe once you reach the rooftop. Its so pretty and picture worthy. I brought a blanket the first time we went, which was needed, but the second time it was warmer outside. Seating was great. Theyve upgraded their seats and theyre really comfortable. I love the experience of having headphones and not hearing any other noise. I can control my own volume and not worry about other viewers or airplanes/helicopters, or cars below. Its a truly wonderful experience. Weve been twice and definitely plan to return.

The view from this place was immaculate! It was such a pretty area on the rooftop of the Renaissance Hotel. There are concessions such as a small pop up style restaurant along with a bar of the same variety. One thing to note was that the walk up entrance from the street is a little bit hard to find but there are parking garages near so that s a positive for sure

It s a shame a place with a cool atmosphere like this one behaves like a common overpriced scam. You CANNOT buy tickets at the gate. They direct you to their online site that charges a convenience fee on top of the $20+ tickets. I went to take my medication last night during the film and the only water they had was $5/bottle, so I went to the hotel and found a fountain. Getting in touch with their people for events is not easy, and sadly the business is simply not fair or customer-friendly, which as I said is a shame since it is a cool concept. Unless you have unlimited money to throw at fees and overpriced food and drink, please go somewhere else. I paid for myself and a group of 13 students last night and it was $347 without a single extra added item.

Great experience even during summer nights. The only thing that would improve the visit during the summer nights would be a large industrial fan circulating air. You listen to the movie with headphones so sound of the fan wouldnt interfere with the movie at all. The drinks are cold and delicious, the food is great portion sizes and so good! Awesome photo ops and the atmosphere is relaxing. I love the rooftop Cinema, first time going was in June and Ive been back 4x since then.

Fun and nostalgic experience. Finding the venue and parking that was for was a little challenging. However, once located and parked in the garage of the hotel that had the venue, there were signs to direct movie guests. I purchased the ticket, single chair, and popcorn package. Chair was comfortable and popcorn was ok. Was able to purchase other snacks and drinks. Selection was limited, but standard. Can t speak on the the more restaurant food items you could order. We received bluetooth headphones and movie started around 10 pm, which was late but perfect. Evening was mild, so wasn t uncomfortable at all. A very enjoyable experience.

I had a fantastic experience at the Rooftop Cinema! The movie options are excellent, offering a great mix of classics and new releases. The amenities are top-notch, making for a very comfortable and enjoyable evening. My only small complaint is the start time of 7:40 PM it s still quite warm in Texas at that hour. Despite the heat, it s a wonderful venue and I highly recommend it for a unique movie-going experience!

If you re looking for something to do by yourself this would be the thing to do! I didn t go alone but, met a girl who did and we got a chance to talk and follow each others social media! On 06/15/24 I saw the 7:30 showing for Dirty Dancing and I wasn t disappointed! The screen had a little spot on the screen that was glitching throughout the movie but it wasn t at all annoying! The staff members were super great and kind. However, one woman who worked at the bar had a personality that was hard to read she wasn t mean in anyway but, also didn t smile or keep any eye contact when talking with her (I think she might have been the manager) I just mention it to say that other people might take it personally! However, it was a brief encounter so, maybe it was just me that might have noticed it more lol. Also, they had fun games, neat photo props and good popcorn! Definitely recommend that everyone should go!

This was a great change of pace. My husband and I enjoyed the venue and movie. It s already hot in Texas but after the sun went down, there were some nice breezes on the rooftop. There was complimentary water. Sodas and alcoholic beverages were available for purchase. I would recommend some icee type drinks as well. We purchased tickets with popcorn that was unlimited. We had dinner prior to arriving so we didn t have any of the food offerings. Overall a great date night. We will be coming back again and may spend a night at the hotel, which by the way, smelled DEVINE!

Facebook advertising is why i wanted to bring my sister here for her birthday. The food and drinks were too pricey. The chairs arent comfortable, but doable. I really wanted to love this place. Really I did. But lemme tell you, if youre going to the fort worth location you get an email regarding the Houston location, apparently, and it confused me so bad!!!! I was so confused about parking! I walk up finally , to a shockingly empty venue for this event but whatever I find a manager and ask her about parking and this weird email and she tells me its the wrong email to the wrong location. Wow awesome. She tells me there is no free parking in this garage like the email says and that she will pay my 10$ parking. Oh ok sweet. Still crazy tho cause if I hadnt spoken to her Id be out an extra 10 bux on top of the $72 I paid. So I notice this event is very empty, hardly any people which is weird cause I know so many Selena fans in ftw its crazy. On top of that no one knows wrong emails are being sent out to them regarding the wrong place even tho the email says fort worth location. Tickets, food and drink are already pricey so they should send the right email for this location regarding parking. Anyways yes the headphones are great and its pretty and a cute idea. Theyve been open for a while now tho so hopefully they can get it together to make it be great.

This is a hidden Gem in Fort Worth super cute date night spot. They have the basic movie theater food and a bar hub. Definitely recommend taking a blanket i was unprepared on that note as it started to get chilly outside. We enjoyed the space. I have never heard of this place until we had another date night event (World of Outlaws) canceled due to the rain the prior few days. After Googling late night date ideas this was the third thing I read in a random article. The parking and entrance was rather difficult to find but the hotel staff was more than helpful in pointing us in the right direction. Once we got on the roof we fell in love with the ambiance and decor. The place was really laid back and quite frankly we will definitely be turning into regular visitors!

I wanted to love this so much, but due to a ton of mishaps, it wasnt the best experience, and I expect more of the Worthington. I will say, right off the bat that the women at the box office were extremely friendly, and none of this was their fault. I arrived where it says special event parking for valet and was told there wasnt going to be a film tonight. I asked why we didnt get an email because we were told we would get an email if the show was cancelled. The valet then sent someone to check for about 5-10 minutes while I sat in the car. Other people walked up and were told the same thing. They came back and said it was happening, but I cant use this valet so I would have to drive to another valet further away. The email said that there was a bar and snacks available for purchase, so my friends and I didnt eat beforehand. The snack area was shut down, however, they said we could get uber eats or walk to the opposite side of the hotel and grab food from Toro Toro. I was able to get one drink before the bar decided to shut down for the evening before the film started. Oddly enough, even though people are going to be there for a few hours, they do not allow you to start a tab. None of the games that were laid out worked either. I will say the ladies that were working there were super nice and felt bad that it was such a subpar experience. They even came out and dried our chairs because it rained earlier in the day. They literally even told us that this is not the normal experience. I would love to go to events here when they finally get everything together.

Loved loved loved it! The joy of great old school movies with a amazing set up was a great combination! The only reason I give it a 4 is because for such a place the menu for food and drinks could have been much better as well as better priced for quality. Also if you get a drink not satisfied to taste they will not remix it for you. Example cocktail made excessively strong that even adding juice doesn t help the bar tender declined remaking it, she said she could only add cherry flavoring.

Update: the company offered our group a credit towards a future movie or a transfer to the date when the event is actually happening. When I informed them that our group is not local and unable to attend they referred me to their company policy that they don t issue refunds. I informed them I agree with their refund policy if it was customer error but this was an issue caused by their organization and their employee told us we would receive a refund. I would give less stars if I could. My friends and I saw a movie on 12/8/23 and paid double the normal ticket rate for a Christmas experience that was suppose to include Santa, cookies and a few other items in addition to the movie. When we got there the manager told us she didn t know what that ticket price and experience was. That it was a glitch in the system that happened to our group and one other group. She gave us an email address and told us to email customer service (who was aware of the issue) and we would get a refund for the over priced ticket. And then she checked us in. On 12/11 we emailed customer service as told to do and customer service has told us they don t do partial refunds regardless of the situation and since the manager checked us in there is nothing they will do. So we have to pay double what every other participate paid to have the same experience they did. Unacceptable. We will never return.

Had a blast coming here. Surprised my wife and watched a good movie. Setting was perfect! Really like this concept and drinks and food available. What a great experience all around! I went to the Tuesday Y2K showing, which I thought was a wooftop day, where I could bring my dog, but I got the days wrong. The Rooftop Cinema Club s staff members were very nice and understanding and told me to make sure I only bring my dog on the appropriate dog days. Thankfully, they let me and my dog watch the movie that day, and I was very grateful. The roof top views along with the throwback movie was fun. There were clear instructions for parking in the email sent with my ticket which REALLY helped. It outlined the price of $10 for validated garage parking with the Renaissance Hotel (where the movies are shown). It was a little tricky finding the parking garage but not terribly hard. Once I found it, there were two parking attendants with clearly marked Renaissance Hotel t-shirts, that helped me get my parking ticket, told me where to park, and gave me directions to get to the Cinema Club from the elevator upstairs. There were also lots of signs to make sure I got the right place. Overall it was a great experience, and I felt safe in the downtown area. I d highly recommend to any movie lover that wants to have a new experience!

Checked this place out with my girlfriend one evening and had such a good time. Cutest little set up with the vendors and games and seating area. Only complaints would be, in Texas we need some fans out there for circulation! And the bar was out or low on everything. My one drink was def less than a 1oz pour with no backup bottles or mixers. Could of just been an off night!

What a great Concept. Parking was easy to find, the door up was a little hidden as you could not enter through the hotel, but once you actually read the directions it was easy to find. Once upstairs we found food and drinks and lots of lounging chairs and couches with games to play while waiting for the movie to start. I have to say they had my wife at margaritas on tap and then when they said they had old fashions on tap, I thought to myself I would never go to another movie anywhere else. We reserved a love seat and it was comfortable and had a great View. You do wear headphones for sound, but they were good quality and fit nicely. Overall, I recommend this for any age group!

I love the concept of watching movies on a rooftop and I was so happy when they announced their arrival. I was on their waitlist and visited the first week of opening. They have a great setup and the quality of the equipment is great. The food here is on the expensive side but luckily we had velvet taco right before. We watched some movie that I didn t understand but we still had an amazing time.

We went to see Pitch Perfect last night and it was the best movie to see there. I think the pricing is a bit high since you are seeing an older movie but we loved the experience. I would give this place 5 stars but there are some things that brought my rating to 4 stars. 1. The venue was great. Love the concept. However, it cost $56.06 ($22.50ea seat + $6.76 booking fee + $4.30 tax) for my husband and I to see a movie that was released in 1980 and we couldve watched on TV for free. I feel the price is a bit steep for a classic movie. Alamo Draft house only charges $10 for classic movies and you are not sitting out in the heat. Although the price we paid included a bag of popcorn that is free refills all night. Still not worth the $28.03 per person. 2. The food pricing is outrageous. For a pretzel with cheese, brisket nachos, a bottle of Diet Dr pepper and 2 beers the price was near $60. I realize that the hotel is the one running the food and driving the cost for the venue but $6 for a diet DP is outrageous. The pretzel was so dry that I could not eat parts of it due to it being so hard. Thank goodness for the nacho cheese to help choke down the parts that could be salvaged. The brisket nachos were delicious. 3. The rooftop needs to have fans or fans with a misting system. You can rent a personal fan that comes with a bottle of water for misting for additional $5 but you have to leave your ID. We opted not to rent. I realize its August in Texas and this is our hottest month. But the air was stagnant which made it hard to breath and we were so hot that if we had not paid what we already paid we wouldve left. All in all we had a good time with our group of people, other than dripping with sweat. Would we do it again? Possibly, but in the cooler months and if the prices were not so steep..

I came on a Sunday night to see 10 things I hate about you and had a good time! The staff is super nice, ready for popcorn and headphones when you walk up. The nachos I got were really good, and I had a cider as well. Be mindful of the weather when you go, it really doesn t cool down at night this time of year! Regardless, the chairs were comfy with padding and there s no bad seat as the screen is high and sound is through your own headset. I will definitely be back again!

Had a movie night out with my Sissy. Movie: White Chicks (2004). Rooftop Cinema/Ft. Worth is really nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to watch a movie in the out of doors on a warm summer night. The food was ok and about the same cost as an indoor theater. I will definitely go again.

We had a great time watching Superbad here the other night. Good signage throughout the lobby guiding you to the rooftop terrace. We arrived early to grab some drink and order a couple plates. They had a smaller but still solid beer selection, a couple premixed cocktails on tap, and a solid food menu. We split the nachos and the meat and cheese board which was a surprising amount of food. The chair were super comfortable and picture quality was better than expected too. My only complaint is the headphones which at about an hour in start to become uncomfortable. Smaller speakers at every other seat might be a better option.

I absolutely love this rooftop cinema. You can buy a ticket that includes popcorn but they have other delicious food (charcuterie, Mexican corn, etc) and a bar that serves adult beverages. The view of the courthouse is spectacular. They have old school games set out on the tables. It is just really cute! A great place to hang out with friends whether youre watching a movie or not. They give you headphones that let you hear the audio. The lawn furniture chairs are comfy and if you get there early enough you can get the perfect seats.

This was an AMAZING experience!!! The movie that was showing is my absolute favorite movie of all time (Love Jones). The chairs were comfortable. Seating was not crowded. A small cocktail table is provided in between the chairs for your snacks/drinks. The STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE of what to expect and what was available to purchase. The layout was easy to navigate around for everything. A lot of photo opportunities!!! I will definitely revisit!!! My only thumbs down was that there is not signage to direct you to the rooftop from a street view. I circled the building 3x and didn t realize I passed it that many times until I saw the attendant of the parking garage on the sidewalk and pulled over to ask for directions and was literally already there lol (Plano resident - not familiar with Ft. The whole experience was great! We pulled into the Worthington Renaissance valet to figure out how to park and the attendant gave us very clear directions to the self parking garage right underneath the Rooftop Cinema. This self parking garage had attendants to help if needed and we had John as an attendant that we met! He gave us recommendations on where to have dinner and was extremely friendly and helpful. Would 10/10 park here again and do this experience because of people like John!

This was a cool experience. Rooftop movie we watched Grease my childhood favorite. Screen quality was great , seating was not so great but it wasn t horrible. The lounge area had games on tables, ping pong table , bar, small food it was great.. we played ping ping mostly lol . Drink selection was ok food was just ok the pretzels looked amazing . All in all not a bad experience. I personally do not like head phones and that s what we needed to hear. That made it difficult to chit chat with your partner and got hot and sweaty so I had to remove mine leaving me unable to enjoy the movie till I put them back on . I would definitely do this again in the cooler seasons .

A fun and unique experience. $19.50 per person per seat (unless you get a loveseat for $26.50 popcorn included)). So its more expensive than a typical theater, but at most theaters youre not sitting on a roof in downtown watching classic hits. The seats were fine and so were the headphones and the screen was easy to view. The only other downside I will make note of is that since you are in downtown Fort Worth there is traffic noise below not a big deal until someone thinks theyre cool revving their V6 Charger or straight piped Honda Civic comes flying by, but I suppose this isnt controllable so it wont hurt my overall 5-star rating. Will come back when they show Jurassic Park (1993).
