Heard so many things about this place and what a let down. Waiter so was busy taking phone calls and doing everything else, she missed my order of nachos. Then Didnt say anything about that and asked about a plate that came with bell peppers to see if they came cooked and she assured me yes. They are done fajita style and they werent. They were raw bell peppers and raw onions with chopped onions. Laziness at it finest! The food was horrible!! First time in my whole life I didnt finish all my food. And that was the least of my worries They a leak at the table next to use from the AC and you can clearly see it had been leaking. It was full of mold! And yes the water stunk and was splashing on us as it dripped. Id recommend not coming here and heath dept needs to definitely come check this place out.

Boy howdy! This is the most authentic Mexican food restaurant in the FTW area. The flavors are authentic, the environment is calm and welcoming, the service is OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the margaritas are the best around! Go to Mexican food! Never been disappointed. We had grilled tilapia fish tacos- taquito plate- beef/chicken fajita salad & nachos. Oh & of course frozen margaritas. This place is highly recommended. I gave only 3 stars for service- but usually it s a lot better. Our waiter didn t speak much- kind of an introvert. Beef nachos- order the half- it s plenty.

Delicious! We have been several times. Excellent! Enchiladas are so good! The queso Supreme is awesome!!! The chips are fresh, thin, and crisp as they should be, and salsa is mild and delicious. This was so freaking good. Ive been to my share of great Mexican places, but havent been to any in TX (from TN). My parents used to get Mexican food in DFW all the time when they lived here, but never came to Mezcals. Wasnt disappointed. I got a chicken and pico quesadilla and it was really great. I also had some refried beans and I swear on my life they tasted like bacon, they maybe are made with lard. Whatever, anyways, it was delicious and if I come back to DFW Im totally coming here again! :)

Alright, before the review ... I will absolutely give this place another shot. I ordered the chimichanga and the fajita steak, onions cheese, and all of the sides were amazing! The problem is that a chimichanga is supposed to be crispy....but it was not and the inside was very doughy .... If I wanted that I would have ordered a burrito. Like I said the flavor was on point so I think the next time Ill try the fajitas.

Over the past 7 years I have eaten here over 30 times and the food is always great and CONSISTENT! Clean Restaurant, great service, fresh food, and tasty chips and salsa make this a place to stop 100%! 5/5/24 We arrived last night after attempting to try the restaurant across the street which you can see we ended up at the best Mexican Restaurant along 199 in the area! We enjoyed the Beef Fajita Chimichangas, Pollo Monterey and GREAT SERVICE! There also ended up being a Mariachi band plying and was great!

One rather unique dish seems to be the Cowboy Salad - you will not be disappointed. Dang I love this place. Not only do they have a vast amount of foods, but we typically favor the same server. They are all great dont get me wrong, but with my allergies, Casey (my server) knows me so well that I dont have to repeat everything over and over. Its gotten to the point where she became a mind reader and knows exactly what we want lol!! Absolutely a god sent place to go to if you live here, just visiting, or just want something new to try. As we moved here from Chicago a few months ago, I think we have come here once a week, and sometimes twice a week, that is how good they are. New to the area..... Our go to place was closed on Monday so we tried this place. My hubby and I walked in and was immediately greeted by one of my favorite songs playing (bonus!). Hostess greeted us and sat us immediately. We absolutely loved the look of the bar area, so we wished we were sitting in there, but next time for sure. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, GREAT music.... My hubbs and I said If the food is good, this will be our new place....and boy was it good! We were seated as soon as we got there. The restaurant wasnt busy at all. The problem was we waited 10 minutes for someone to come take our drink order and no one ever did. There was about 3 or 4 servers walking around with nothing to do, but no one ever came over. We finally left. We were going to complain to the manager, but was told there wasnt a manager on duty. One of those stuck up types that thinks they are better than others but in reality they are blind to how much others dislike them... sad cuz if it had better owners, ones that actually invest in their staff and cared about their business this place could be great better than other businesses around them... Parking lot needs major work - dont park in the back?! youve been warned... lol
