I love the old time feel of Kincaids original location! It was busy and sometimes you have to stand at one of the grocery counters to eat because all seats are taken! The food is fantastic! I had a junior bacon cheeseburger and it was big!! Definitely one of our favorite spots!

5 stars all the way around! I come here often and the food is always amazing. Customer service is beyond what you would expect to see at restaurants these days. The place is always clean and inviting. I usually come here during the week, but I went Saturday evening instead because I had some family in town. I think that I will be visiting every Saturday from here on out. My burger was amazing so was the rest of our food. I m not sure what they did different but I hope they keep doing it!! So if you go and you see a Hispanic guy with tattoos, making your burger , just know it s about to be the juiciest most amazing burger you ve ever had! Nice job all of you!! Thank you!!!

Usually the food is very good here but they still have a problem with peeling the onions properly. Sometimes they don t discard the outer skin of the onion after they take the papery portion off. I had mentioned this to them before when I had ordered onion rings but I guess the problem had not been resolved. This time the grilled onions in the burger was the problem. Attached is a picture of a large piece of grilled onion 2.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches long. When I bit into the burger I found out that I could not chew this and this giant piece of inedible onion came out.

The most underwhelming chunk of beef in these Texas streets. The atmosphere was even more lack luster everything from the postbellum decor that lowkey glorifies scarcity in an eerie unappetizing way makes the wait for the butcher paper wrapped burger oddly more intense. Only to receive it & instantly desire to repurpose it. I went with the Cattleman s burger and now I know I haven t been missing out on anything at all from Kincaid s. I m thrilled to say burgers are much tastier everywhere else. No one eating here looked like they were enjoying themselves either. The onion ring was crispy . I fell for the deception as soon as I took the first bite but after the 2nd bite politely wrapped the burger up & placed it right back in the bag.

My cheese burger was covered in anemic wet soggy iceburg lettuce and sad flavorless tomatoes that made the burned bun soggy. The meat would have been good if they actually would have seaso ed it with something. The crinkle cut fries were on par with some fries you would get in a public school cafeteria, but without the salt. The counter people were nice, and they have an open kicthen visible to all. Theres a retro feel and lot of mint green if you are into that. These are the nicest things l can hoestly say about Kincades. If you find yourself in this neighborhood, do yourself a favor: Head up the steet a block or two to Tommys and while you are there, get some cheddar stuffed fried Jalepenos with your burger. Great place for a classic smash burger. Seating is family style. I recommend the onion rings though they do have crinkle cut fries and a few other options. Self serve drinks. You order at the front counter, they call your name when orders ready, and you go back to the counter to pick it up and it back to your table. I had the kids meal of chicken strips and fries, pretty good! I know that Kincaids is a burger place, but I wish they had at least one salad on the menu. I was there with a group, and we had a great time, though! Vegetarian options: None on the menu, but you can request a meatless, and they will put veggies into a bowl for you. Only one dressing available with that, though. Dietary restrictions: You can request a hamburger in a bowl and avoid the bread, but dietary restrictions would have very little to eat here. Wheelchair accessibility: May be difficult to find a place to sit with others, as the picnic tables and bench seats are attached. Sitting at the end of the table is possible, but in traffic lanes.

Always solid. No-frills menu, a bit of a wait but no longer than a standard fast food joint and much better food. Love the options for sweet tea AND sodas, and the onion rings have enough black pepper (iykyk). Classic for a reason! Parking: Lunch time you ll probably have to park down the street. Pay attention to signs carefully and be respectful of residents. Kid-friendliness: Hot dog is a hit with my kids, high chairs available, and nothing breakable on the shelves.

Great spot to get a burger. Wife and myself had lunch here - she had a traditional style burger and I had the western style with a large onion ring and bbq sauce. Burgers are not super thin smash style - but also not overly thick. They re a perfect mix between the two and still juicy and fresh. The onion ring on my burger was so amazing and the breading was fantastic. Next time I will definitely be ordering a side of the onion rings by themselves . All food was hot and fresh including the fries , which had great texture. The fries honestly were not seasoned well at all , but adding table salt and a little pepper solved that. It was pretty busy during lunch but the wait time for food was not slow. There are some 4 seater tables inside and some outside dining , but the majority of the seating is large, lengthy banquet style picnic tables, so don t be shy. You maybe have to sit at the same table as other people . They also have shakes and malts. My wife got a vanilla malt and I got a chocolate malt. Better than Braums. All in all it was a good burger experience and the price was extremely reasonable. We will be back , and you should give it a try as well. Be warned ahead of time that parking can get hectic during peak hours. Parking: Not a huge parking lot - may get cramped during peak hours

First time at Kincaids and was very pleased! They have awesome burgers, and the onion rings are to die for. Great size, breading very well seasoned, fries fresh cut and hot. Items cooked to order. If you like a good burger and great sides, make your way to Kincaids. Im looking forward to my next visit.

Kincaids is one of all-time favorite local burger establishments. They consistently serve good food and are highly efficient given the lunch crowds. I would eat here every day...If youre a fan of top notch hamburgers and a yesteryear atmosphere then head on over to Kincaids.

Robert Duvall has eaten here. See photo.1st time lunch at this location. We have eaten at Southlake location several times. Established 1946 and 5 separate locations. Kid-friendliness: Family dining at picnic tables.
