Small little spot. No wait for lunch when I went. Good prices compared to several newer bbq competitors. Brisket wasnt the best Ive ever had, but would certainly try it again. The ribs were fantastic. I didnt partake, but they also had beer pitchers for $8!

This place and its owner Ray is a staple in the Lake Worth community. The food is always amazing and def on par for the best BBQ in town. I love the baked potato with chopped brisket, but TBH I havent gotten anything that didnt taste good. Although I will say that I wish the building and the atmosphere were given as much attention as the BBQ.

I went to this business based on word of mouth from a lady while getting a pedicure. I ordered two large chili cheese burgers, two large fries and one baked potato with brisket. The fries were barely warm with a cardboard texture and completely flavorless! The burger didnt have chili or cheese on them, as you would expect a chili cheese burger to have, and the potatoes lacked flavor as well. Needless to say, we WONT be returning.

Specifically came in for the loaded baked potato salad...it was delish! Decided to grab a small brisket sandwich too and the meat was great, the sauce was amazing and the bun was toasted to perfection! Love all the personal touches around the restaurant too! We were a party of 4 and we all got different burgers. Mine was blue cheese and it was awesome! Blue cheese in every bite! The service was fast and accurate. Got a Chopped Beef sandwich in a sausage sandwich the girl said $4.75 for any small sandwich. It clearly say in the menu that the sandwiches is $4.99. When I get ready to pay he say that the small sausage sandwich is $6.75. I told him thats what the girl told me he tried to say that I was a lieing. He is the most rude Prejudice man that I have ever met in my life. Wouldnt recommend this place to African-American.

This place is not for the faint of hearts. Its a bit dingy, a bit dusty, a little greasy spoon type place but the food! Omg the brisket falls apart like butter. The menu is a bit pricey. Again but the food! The okra is so great, Cole slaw and potato salad is sweet and crunchy and creamy, now I will stop there the chili looks ruff but its very good. The drinks are fountain, and the mix is perfect for me, but they do have draft I believe. The fries are hand cut. They offer cheeseburgers, and cfs etc. So check it out! I love it. But thats just my opinion. Ps I must give a piece to the owners who seems to always be there and always so pleasant and nice, will clean your table or feed the drive thru. They are always smiling and laughing always to say hi and always to say see you next time. The ladies that work the kitchen are always ready to help and very courteous! And patient. Good Lord thanks for all patient drive thru workers.

The ribs are the best in Fort Worth. Falling of the bone tender and full of flavor. Their bbq sauce is great but you dont need it. The ribs are moist and perfect without anything. The sides are good too and the cobbler, if you have room, is homemade with lots of crust. Down home atmosphere with great blues music. Add an ice cold fishbowl draw beer inside or in the beer garden out front. Its got it all.

Food was ok, nothing to complain about but also nothing to brag about. Place seems like a very nice place to hang out so I can see why the locals would like to come here. I am not from the area so I called ahead to make sure it was a pet friendly place since it had a patio, sadly when we arrived we were not allowed to bring our poodle in while we order, not a big deal one of us waited in the patio with our dog while we ordered. What upset me is that not longer after that, a lady walked in with her small dog and and she wasn t told anything about it, then to make it worse she was allowed to walk with her dog to the kitchen area. If you have a policy apply it to everyone, don t pick and choose.

My favorite bbq joint in Fort Worth hands down. Was coming in for the usual ribs and brisket with the fries and bbq beans but Todays special was the frito pie which came with a great Texas size portion of mouth watering chopped brisket and beef chili. Was not disappointed. Definitely recommend the chicken plate it comes with 2 sides and let me just say, wow. The chicken was so moist and just melted in my mouth! Topped with their homemade bbq sauce delicious. Their baked potato salad was so creamy and unlike any I ve had before. Vegetarian options: This is an unabashed BBQ joint. They have vegetables as sides, so that will have to suffice. Parking: Side-of-the-road joint, but plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Totally wheelchair accessible. Cant say it wont be cozy when passing along the counter, but everyone is friendly and accommodating, so you might make friends!

I want to start off by first saying that the employees at the restaurant were very friendly and nice people. I had absolutely no trouble with them and they took care of me. But unfortunately, the food was just pretty regular tasting but the price was through the roof. I could not believe how expensive it was and I did not know this going in. There seems to be a group of regular customers that enjoy coming in and having a few drinks and talking amongst each other and with the employees. It seemed like a really nice environment for hanging out and enjoying yourself. But the hamburger meat did not taste like anything special and in fact it needed some salt. I cant recall ever needing to put salt on a hamburger at a restaurant but I did in this case. And the hamburger was just very bland tasting even with the toppings on it. What shocked me the most though was just how expensive it was for a simple meal. I think it was a little over $15 for the hamburger and then Im not really sure what the french fries cost. But then the soda, which is a fountain machine you use yourself with a plastic, Pizza Hut type cup you can fill and refill I believe was $3.50. I wasnt really sure what to expect since I had not been into the restaurant since it was previously owned years ago by someone else. Its probably been 10 years since I had been into it. I think they serve barbecue and I wish I had tried it. But I was trying to eat fast and cheaply and I was only successful at one of those. Nothing tasted extra good and it really tasted subpar compared to other places of similar price Ive been to. The staff did get my order right though and that is a plus. Nowadays, that seems to be so uncommon in most places that I do think its worth mentioning that they did prepare things just the way I ordered them. I may try them again in the future, when I have extra money to spend, and see if anything is any better taste wise. Its always possible I caught them on a bad day? But at the risk of sounding overly harsh, I really wish I had not gone there and I had spent the approximately $25 (+/-) I spent for a simple meal somewhere else where I could have gotten more.

This place is a hidden GEM!! We ve been there twice now after a recommended from a local guy who s been going there for years. Not enough good things to say. 1st impression was because there was a car already at the drive up window, a worker came outside to take our order instead of waiting for us to pull up to the window. An unassuming restaurant with solid BBQ and sides. I got brisket and ribs, both cooked perfectly and so flavorful as to not need sauce, though the house sauce complimented the meats well. The sides aren t fancy, but they are flavorful and clearly are made with care, unlike many places where sides are an afterthought. Glad I came and I look forward to returning.

First time here. Was a little worried that at lunch time there was no one there at lunch time on a Friday afternoon. Young girl was nice and showed me all the side dishes. I opted for the brisket plate which included two sides. Cost just shy under $20 which is way more than I normally spend for lunch, but barbecue normally is overpriced in my book. The brisket was moist and tender. Barbecue sauce was a little too tangy for my liking but good. The Mac and cheese was thick and stuck to your ribs. No cheese sauce left behind! Green beans were nothing to write home about, maybe add a little smoked bacon to flavor it up a bit more. Texas toast was perfect and made mopping up leftover sauce easy. Overall food was good but I have had better for the price eventhoughI thought the portions were good.

First time going in here after passing it for 20+ years. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I did. Standard BBQ joint with all the fixings. I prefer more smoke and bark to my Q but the portions and sides were excellent and I enjoyed the staff.

Soooooo Delicious !! Small family owned cafe that is big on Flavor!! The chopped beef is Mmmmmmmm TASTY!! The beans reminded me of how my Dad used to cook them ... Everything was delicious...
