Zena was our attorney when we intervened in our foster daughter s case. It was a year long journey but Zena fought for us and what was best for our daughter the entire way. She was upfront and honest with us the entire way and let us know what she thought would be possible and what she didn t. In the end we were able to adopt our daughter and because of Zena s dedication to our case we know that she will be safe and loved for the rest of her life!

Zena McNulty has been extremely helpful with my custody battle. Her diligence exposed a loophole my ex was using to keep my son away from me, thus preventing the issue from going back to court. On top of that, shes a genuine person. Kind, but straightforward. A true, and dignified, advocate for her clients. I highly recommend her.

I hired Zena as my lawyer after my previous law firm didn t do a good job and the other parent kept repeatedly violating the court order. She successfully enforced the child support order and changed the custody agreement and held her in contempt. Zena is an excellent lawyer and highly recommended.

I have never used this law firm but I did go through a lawyer by the name of Doug Wright and trusting him and Caitlyn Harris was a huge mistake for me and my family both were very dishonest to me and communicated very poorly and it caused me to lose my case because he shown little interest in my case please be very careful and do your research before hiring him

Zena McNulty is a trusted and knowledgeable attorney. I have gone to her for advice and legal aid for many years now. She is someone who is more than confident and more than capable of getting what needs to be done, done. During divorce there are such high emotions that it is easy as a client to lose yourself in them, especially with children and finances involved. Zena kept me grounded and focused on what really matters and continued to help me show humility to my co-parent while going through this process. That is not to say she is a pushover because she definitely has teeth accompanied by intelligence BUT she is still an attorney that has a heart. If I need legal aid or counsel again, hopefully not, I would go to Zena. Whenever anyone asks me for a recommendation, her name is the one I continue to give.

10 stars! Weve been using Zena for years for our child custody case. She and her team have been nothing but knowledgeable professionals. She knows the Tarrant County courts and judges as well as she knows the family code. Ive sent numerous people to her and I will continue to highly recommend her. I hired Jeff to represent me in contempt case against my X-wife. He seemed knowledgeable, organized, clean and well rounded. He charged me $3000 for the case which is little more than other attorneys would charge but I was OK with it because I wanted to make sure we nail my X. I had already filed the petition and had all my evidence ready and all subpoenas filed to bring the police to court. All he had to do was to show up and present the case. After I hired him he started telling me we need to trim down the evidence because his excuse was we might piss off the judge! He failed to bill me until I brought it to his attention and thats when he slapped together a bill in 30 minutes overcharging for everything for example he charged 2 hours for a 45 min call we made and I have the bill from cellphone company to prove it! He did everything he can to eat up the $3000 by the time the hearing was done. The other big issue is that He kept taking evidence off my case and trim it down until the judge did not find enough proof to find my X in contempt but The judge awarded me $2200 attorney fees anyway. When he got the check he never gave me a dollar from it! After the hearing he started coming up with creative ways to chew up my $2200 that he was suppose to return to me. He failed to get me a contempt order on a clean slam dunk case and he never returned the awarded attorney fees to me! I filed a grievance against him with the State bar. Jeff is lazy and wants to just slap a quick hearing together and overcharge you by inflating his and the paralegal time! Be ware and stay away..

A few months ago I found myself to be a target of the one of the most oppressive and powerful entities in the Texas government- The Office of the Attorney General- Child Support Division. This out of control entity has little to no oversight and is empowered to wreck lives with NO REPERCUSSIONS. I tried to find someone in the OAG management to help correct the situation but that only escalated the attack against me and my livelihood. They seized my bank accounts and and placed liens against my property. Fortunately for me I turned to the law firm of Johnson, Loyd and Schmitz. Mr. Johnson put together a legal plan of action and moved quickly to provide relief to my situation. I put my trust and future into his hands, and just as David slew the Mighty giant Goliath-so Mr Johnson brought the mighty Office of the Attorney General to its knees. My life and property are now secure from improper confiscation and harassment from this entity. Thank you Mr Johnson you were truly a God send when my future was bleak at best. Brenna is someone you absolutely WANT to have on your side when it comes to a custody dispute. From day one of speaking with her on the phone I knew going with her was the best option. Not only did she actually listen to my case and handle it with such grace. I honestly felt 1000% more confident with her by my side than I did with prior represnetation. Her and her firm also have done nothing but made me feel as though I was her only client. I was beyond amazed, and impressed with the respect I was given, the reassurance I was given when there were small set backs, and just the all around friendship/professional attitude that she brought to the table.
