We had a wonderful time at River Ranch Stockyards! It has an amazing atmosphere. It felt like we were having a family get together. There were plenty of fun activities available to keep everyone entertained. The food was delicious and served by an attentive staff. We loved the charming decor. We hosted our sons rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect! The venue was spacious, the staff was very friendly to our guests and the food was incredible! We had so many guests tell us what a great evening they had. Theresa was a joy to work with from start to finish. She responded to my many questions in a timely manner and followed through with everything she said she would do. I highly recommend considering River Ranch Stockyards for your next event! It was so fun, I wish we could do it all again.

Such a gem! Beautiful venue with plenty of room inside and out. I love that they have a huge covered patio with bar stools and corn hole. There is a beautiful lit up stage and we even had shuttle service from our hotel to River Ranch.

I am an Event Planner and it was my first time working at this beautiful event venue! I was amazed by everything!!! Especially the staff! Theresa Ireland went about and beyond to ensure we delivered a successful event to our client! I am used to Event Managers just relaxing in their offices, but not Theresa Ireland! Very nice facility. Large open banquet hall with old western town decor. Nice full bar. Excellent food, cooked onsite. Dont know all the food options to choose from, but you cant go wrong with the BBQ, potato salad, slaw, ranch beans, mashed potatoes and yeast rolls!!! Staff were all super friendly. Disappointed in this venue. Son had high school graduation here. My husband is disabled and this place is not wheelchair accessible. It had rained and the parking lot and entrance into the venue was muddy. Wheelchair sank into ground and we were almost unable to push him. There were not ramps available, my husband had to get out of the wheelchair and struggled to get up the the 3 to 4 steps. Thank goodness there were at least a few handicap parking places. We realized after the graduation that there was one ramp on the far side of the building, but it did not have a smooth transition from the porch to the ramp, there is a raised area between them and we still were not able to use it. Also, this ramp is not near the handicap parking and you either would have to go through mud again or grass. I would not attend another event here, not a pleasant experience.

I havent been to the one in the stockyards, but I did visit their mobile truck they have on Camp Bowie and I was extremely underwhelmed. The sliced brisket plate I got was mostly fat, in fact it appeared that the fat cap was never trimmed because it was about an inch thick. The part of the meat I actually got to eat had good flavor but I wont be visiting their food truck again. This is all the inedible fat that was in the lunch plate that I got.
