In sticking with the theme of Team SLFs responses to any negative feedback or criticism here, I m not going to attempt to assume my attorneys gender. They looked like a dude, but regardless, zhe was awful. Tied for worst family law firm in the metroplex. I wouldn t even refer to it as representation. Just bare minimum going thru the motions and taking your $ in the process. I explained my desires in an hour and 15 min phone call with my attorney 2 days prior to hearing and at hearing zhe acted like everything I was seeking was news to they/ them. They/ them attempted to have me release my HIPPAA records TO OPPOSING COUNSEL. Quality counsel would shut that stuff down before it ever got to their client. This place is a colossal waste of your time & money, and they will act as judge & jury. My attorney froze when confronted by opposing counsel but was stern with their client. Me, the same person paying them for representation. IF YOU RETAIN ANYONE AT THIS FIRM, YOU WILL JUST END UP PAYING THEM TO ACT AS AN EXTENSION OF OPPOSING COUNSELS SALES TEAM. Run from these bozo s or you will pay for it in more than one way and have nothing to show for it. These people are awful, pathetic human beings in every sense of both words.

Worst law firm and lawyer I have ever had to represent me. After my original lawyer I hired from Schneider law firm went on maternity leave I was passed off to another lawyer in the firm. Big mistake. The new lawyer that was to represent myself seemed woefully unprepared or experienced. They continually disregarded my requests and caved to whatever the opposing party wanted to do. They allowed the opposing party to walk all over me. I truly felt as if they were just going through the motions without listening to anything I had to say. They would allow the opposing party to never sign the final order, months after the final hearing, and instead chose to just send an email to them month after month asking them to sign. One day I get a bill saying they typed up a motion they were filing with the court to get them to sign. This perplexed me as I had never seen this motion and I was also getting billed simultaneously for them emailing the opposing counsel asking them to return the signed order. I questioned this motion they said they typed up and a few days later I received a response stating that they had typed up this motion because the opposing counsel told them they were going to have their client sign, but then would never return the signed order or contact them back. I have asked on multiple occasions for a copy of the motion they typed up, to which I have never been provided. I finally convinced them to set a court date asking the judge to force them to sign the order. I also told them no matter if they sign before the court date or not I want them to proceed with the hearing because I want the judge to be made aware that they have refused to sign until I filed another motion forcing them too. I also told them I want them to ask the court for my legal fees back that are associated with having to force them to sign. Today I get an email stating that they received the signed order back from the opposing counsel last Friday afternoon, when my court hearing is tomorrow, and they are canceling the hearing. So here I am again, being completely disregarded by my attorney and allowing the opposing counsel to walk all over me, while being stuck with yet more uneccessary legal fees by this firm. This is not the representation I was led to believe I would have when I hired this law firm. They have continually cost me excessive amounts of legal fees all while letting opposing counsel continually walk all over me. I would never hire this firm again and if I were an individual seeking representation from someone that should represent my best interest, would stay far away.

I was really excited to work with this lawfirm but my experienced turned out to be worse than I imagined. No divorce, no child support, just child custody and I was out 8k and there had no been any court time or mediation yet. I felt they nickled and dimed and made things more complicated than they should have been. I did not feel my attorney was standing up for me or defending me as they should have been. I did not have a good experience and decided to go somewhere else.

Can not keep Attorneys, charge for long conversations when they are talking about their life. Don t do what is asked from them. I would NOT recommend ANY Schneider Law Firm to anyone. Do research and don t be afraid to ask other attorneys about this firm. THIS IS A VERY BAD FIRM. Dropped me over $221 and said I ghosted them. ( What professional says ghosted repetitively to a client ). What could have come close to that is I stopped checking up on my case by calling due to the charges I was getting from the Attorney talking about herself and her life experiences. I did not ghost them, we have the receipt showing it was paid and she wasn t near interested in seeing it or proof of it. $7k into this and then dropped. Bad communication, the service should have been a lot better.

I never felt like yall were fighting for me and my family. We were just about pay check. Most emails or calls took days to get answered. I question some of the billed times. My attorney was Emily LaChance in dealing with a case of molestation of my step son. The allegations were brought by his biological father, whom has a history of domestic violence and has been vocally distributive in our family long before the accusations. Emily took a through journal of all the events before, during and after the accusations to show the DAs office that this was another attack on our family by a volatile and non reputable individual. She stopped the criminal investigation before it ever began. She also went above and beyond by dealing with CPS, which falls under family law. She drove from her office to my home in Bedford to assist in a one on one interview with CPS to close out their case. This was a very trying time for me and my family and she also dealt with the emotional roller coaster that I was on. She always answered my questions via email, most of the time instantaneously, regardless if it was 10pm or the weekend. Even after the case was closed she made me a binder of all the events for my records in case the biological father ever decided to try to hurt our family in this way again. This law firm is amazing. The staff at this law firm is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. In my particular case they went above and beyond to help me find the right solution. My lawyer was Alison Porterfield she was the best thing that could have ever happened to my family during our custody battle. She was so proficient and caring. She always made us feel as if we were her number one priority and that we were not just another case that she actually cared what happened to our daughter.
