Allows for some time for introspective maintenance. Several kewl areas to go to. Wildflowers, , birds to check out, the wind in the trees...and THEN, theres the fishing . Playground: Its the close-by getaway for folks like me who just want a nice place to close my eyes and turn everything off and just listen.

Its a small neighborhood park. Unless its a holiday theres usually not many or no other people, which to me is a good thing. Just a park with beach and lake. No playground. A few picnic tables. Im sure my puppy and I will come often.

I am from Austin, where we have some really great lakes. However, I really enjoyed my time here. The water was great, and there was hardly anyone over there, unlike the lakes at home that suffer from extreme overcrowding.

Scenic! Beautiful lake, safe and clean enough for fishing and swimming. Very quiet in the morning, ideal for a walk, a jog or meditation. They lost a star because of the bees. My poor niece got stung by one,so we had to leave. Parking can be an issue on busy days too. 1 Porta potty bathroom

Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome leashed the beast, gators on tour, dont forget and snor, no dog to take home since gator thought he was a bone lol Picnic area: Bring, share, clean, enjoy it make sure not to destroy it!

This is one of our favorite places since we moved to Fort Worth. Its located only ten minutes from downtown fort worth. Me & my babies spend a lot of time cleaning up the trash but its well worth it. You get the best view of those Texas sun sets! The shoreline is clean, the water is clear this time of year. It does sometimes get a little overwhelmed in the parking lot but the beach area is quite far wrapped around a small quiet cove Theres geese, ducks, blue heron, turtles, and fish. Small sea shells all around the beach. The waters edge and swimming area doesnt get super deep right away so good for ones with smaller kids. There are also grills, picnic tables so you can bbq and clean up as there are also trash cans! We find bottles, fishing line alot, which will really hurt the wildlife and waterfowl, but if we all just picked up even if its not ours, it would stay nice. That goes for all DFW parks! If Woke Soap is in the area, we will clean the park before we go! Its only a right as a human to do so and hope others take suit. Yall have a beautiful city here. Very nice small Park with some Lake access and plenty of picnic tables. I like the cover photos that youll see for it in the beginning Ive got winter time photo for you to see. It is a good place to come and have a picnic with the kids and of course you got that little bit of lakefront access to let the kids play in the water. Come have a look though.
