Wow, Di Marias is AMAZING! I love coming here for quality margarita time with my grams! They have the most delicious margaritas at a great price, and I love to get mine with Tajin and Chamoy! Food is always delicious and fresh, no matter what you order youre going to love it! The Pazole is my absolute favorite, and the owners are the sweetest people youll ever meet!

I do not recommend this restaurant. I took my mother and sister. My mother ordered the flautas meal. Everything was cold and the flautas were soggy with oil and not crispy at all. We showed them to the server and she had them do it again, the second time they were crispy and I tasted them only to feel nauseous because the oil was rancid. The rest of the meals were not satisfactory. I ordered a pineapple full with rice and shrimp, not tasty at all. My sister ordered three tacos and the flour tortillas were not cooked well. I ve gone to other restaurants where the food is not to my liking but I never leave a review because it s not as bad or worrisome as this one had me concerned especially the rancid oil taste. I don t know, it could ve been that day only (bad chef day) but I rather not take any chances in this restaurant again.

After reading all of the positive reviews, I thought I would give this restaurant a try. I went in for lunch and tried their quesadillas. I was disappointed in the portion size as it was more like a childrens meal. The service was slow and I had to ask for everything. The overall experience was very disappointing to me.

We came here because we saw 4.8 stars and we learned - don t trust google reviews. I will say everyone was very nice and I hate leaving poor reviews but we could have spent the same amount of money elsewhere and gotten a much better meal. Service was slow and the food was subpar. The fajita meat did not even look like typical fajita meat and the ribeye tacos didn t have any flavor aside from the pico that was on them. The beans weren t good and the rice was a little hard. The queso was okay but the salsa tasted more like tomato sauce than salsa. We came in super excited and like I said the staff was so kind but unfortunately we won t be coming back. There are several other excellent Mexican food restaurants in the Kingwood area that are worth the money spent.

Their menu is free from modern overpowered Mexican influences. One of our favorites is the Beets carpaccio, which we find incredibly delicious and will likely make your dining experience memorable. The owners, Alejandro & Irma, make it evident through their service that every guest is essential to their restaurant. We were genuinely impressed by their exceptional attention to detail and service. We also had the opportunity to enjoy other dishes but forgot to take a picture of the most important one, the fajita platter. We found this place like 4 months ago and we cant stop coming here. Everything that we have tried in the menu has been great. Of course, Pozole Verde is one of our favorites. But really everything, enchiladas, different kind of chilaquiles, stuffed fish, cafe lechero, aguas frescas, etc. Everything is great and the service is awesome. Love this restaurant...our new go to authentic Mexican food. I had (pictured) the turkey al pastor tacos with a horchata con coco-delicious. My family also tried carnitas tacos, birria tacos and chicken flautas. We also tried the strawberry with mint Agua natural. Dessert we had the corn cake and cheesecake and good.. Staff is so helpful in choosing food and very kind. We loved it so much that we went back the next day for bkfst.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner tonight. We ordered Queso, Mole Enchiladas, Tex Mex Enchiladas with shredded chicken and Tres Leches for dessert. Everything was delicious! The chips and salsa were super flavorful and the fresh lemonade was refreshing. We will definitely be back. The service was great as well and the atmosphere is really cool!

Saw this place and wanted to try it out but unfortunately it was very underwhelming. We get seated quickly but it took 23 min for someone to take our drink order and thats because we asked a server for help. A very nice waiter comes and takes our order 13 min later then we get our food 25 min later ( not alot of people there either). We received our food and my food was very bland and was served cold. I ordered Di María chilaquiles w fajita and for 18 dollars, I had hoped it would be great but it definitely wasnt. Coffee was just dark hot water but my wife ordered pancakes and really enjoyed them, as well as the orchata. Dont think Ill come back though.

This is our third visit to this restaurant and I can definitely say we found or go to Mexican restaurant in this area. It s very authentic and has similar flavors to my Mexican mother s cooking. Today I had the birria tacos and my husband had the huevos a la mexicana. The tacos definitely won over the simple egg dish but my husband did say the egg dish was tasty. You can t go wrong with traditional dishes. Last time I had the molletes and I felt like a kid again sitting in my grandma s house having breakfast. I can t recommend this place enough. If you want authentic Mexican food you have to visit this place.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at when visit some friends in the Porter/Kingwood area. The service is excellent, the owners and waiters are very efficient, friendly and communicative re the offerings. Over the past couple of years, We have had several of the shrimp dishes, fajitas, taco salad, chicken dishes, quesadillas, pastas, to name a few. The roasted beet appetizer is fantastic. Their beef fajitas are fantastic, very tender and delicious whether in quesadillas, taco salad, or alone. Absolutely everything has been very fresh and delicious. Their shrimp dishes are out of this world, dont know how they can cook shrimp so perfectly every time but they do!! Very pleasant environment in which to enjoy a delicious meal!! We had an awesome meal there tonight. Friendly light and casual restaurant in Atascocita/Kingwood area. The menu consists of mostly Mexican items but with some other diverse options. Think standard Mexican restaurant meets American diner. We really enjoyed the tostadas and stuffed fish dishes. We will be back to try other options. It is a much needed and refreshing break from the standard chain restaurants which are in abundance in this area. Went back for a second time tonight and had another delicious dinner. Absolutely wonderful! I had the Citrus Ceviche & Tortilla Soup. Everything was so fresh. The ceviche was outstanding with deep, bright flavors and big chunks of fish. If I could get more than five stars, I would. Tonight was the first time I ve eaten at this restaurant, but it will not be my last. Owner Alejandro was very professional and attentive. Our server was Mauro. He was amazing. The gentleman bussing our table was Jose, and he, too, was extremely attentive and polite. The Savannah salad was delicious. Our table also had the chicken quesadillas, the shrimp brochettes and fajita taco salad. The beef fajita meat was seasoned beautifully. Don t get me started on that green sauce!! I was googling to find over 4.5 stars breakfast place, so I found this with 4.8, I will say and give 5 stars. Why? Clean place, staff friendly, bath clean, variety of tables to be seat, nice background music, quick service, affordable prices but overall you leave the place with great satisfaction. Hope the ones with bad experience give another opportunity. Thank you, God bless you all.

How did I live around the corner from this hidden jewel all these years and just recently discover it for myself. The presentation of each dish is just beautiful! Each dish has a delightful variation in flavor that just dances around on your tongue. Im thoroughly impressed how Fresh the food is and tastes it too! Señor Alejandro and his staff are most welcoming to everyone and thats always a good feeling! I cant wait to try their breakfast menu next!

I love this place. The owner is so kind. The food is delicious and made with love. Today, I tried the agua de melon fresh water. Just like my grandmother used to make. y los camarones al mojo de ajo. Yum! Highly recommend! Everything we ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Love the wide variety and especially, all of the healthier options. The drink menu is also fantastic. Definitely, give them a try when you re in the Kingwood area! Vegetarian options: One of my absolute favorite breakfast/brunch options is the mushroom omelette. Absolutely delicious. Dietary restrictions: They ll make accommodations if requested. I didn t want rice, instead an asked for sautéed vegetables. Parking: Plenty of parking in this shopping center. It s never been an issue. Also, additional parking close by if available, if needed. Kid-friendliness: My son enjoys this restaurant, as well. Bright, fun, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly servers. Family owned and operated.

One of my favorite places to eat in the Atascocita/Kingwood area! They have authentic Mexican food and a red pozole to die for! They also have awesome natural made flavored waters. I could go on and on and on about how great this place is including their service. High 10 rating!

This is by far the best Mexican food (not even comparable to other tex-mex actually) in this uncreative town. I dont mean to sound ugly...there just isnt much for unique around here. This food is fresh and doesnt disappoint, in quality or size. Everyone I have brought here, come back...many times. I hope in time they are able to soften the atmosphere a bit. There is real talent in the kitchen here!!!!

Horrible service!!!! My husband explained his order in Spanish to the waiter. I heard and understood it clearly apparently he didn t understand what my husband said and brought a whole different order. The waiter didn t speak English so we made sure to speak Spanish. He brought our plates out and brought my husband something completely different than what he ordered. We offered to pay for it, but wanted something different. He took both our plates up. Not sure why he took my plate back. SMH I got my plate back after it sat a while then he never came to take my husbands order. When they finally decided to bring my plate back, I just asked for a to go plate and we asked for check. My husband told him we wanted the check because he never came back to take his order and he had the audacity to tell him he didn t need his attitude because he was busy with other tables! We paid our hefty check for no food eaten but the chips and aguas frescas. We will never return. Don t go in gym clothes because you may be ignored! I can t say how food is, but service sucked! The poor waitress was mortified! I want small businesses to succeed, but my goodness do better!

Came here for brunch with friends. We got the chilaquiles which were ok but left a lot to be desired. The owner was so attentive and accommodating, when he noticed I didn t finish my food he offered to make me something new but when I refused he gave me a free dessert. My friends enjoyed their food and the staff is great! Do try!

I learn about this place during COVID and they would go out of their way to accomodate my pickiness, nothing is impossible for them. They earned my forever business and now. The owner cares so much he knows what my daughter and I like and how we like it like arracherra gratinada. They work so hard and are amazing, give them a try. They are also very affordable. Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian but they do seem to have plenty of options. Dietary restrictions: Anytime I have asked him to modify my meal, he has gone above and beyond accomodating me. Parking: I have mever had a problem parking and I have been coming here for years. Kid-friendliness: My kid has been ordering what we call the micky mouse pancakes.

Breakfast was awesome and the proportions are just right. The background music brought back so many distant memories and made me feel as if i was somewhere else entirely. Lastly, the customer service we received from Irma was excellent. She was pleasant and attentive. Thank you. Update: I havent been there in many months since my original review. Unfortunately, the chicken was undercooked on my last two visits and I simply dont want to take a chance again. Things happen, I get it, but twice in a row is just too risky for my health. The service and other meals I had were always good so I am lowering to 3 starts.

The service and people were great! We ordered the pecan fish, a salad, red posole, birria tacos, and Thai fish. The food was slightly under seasoned for our pallets, but we added salt and ate it with salsa and it was fine.
