West Jax Cigar & Spirits is a hidden gem! We had an amazing time here. The drinks were top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect a great mix of laid-back and vibrant. The vibe is just what you want when you re looking to unwind, and the customer service was exceptional. This is hands down the best cigar lounge in the metroplex. Jay and Brittany are phenomenal. Their customer service is TOP TIER, world class customer service. They are very innovative and ever evolving, always coming up with new ideas to keep their clientele engaged and interested in coming out. They are also very supportive and constantly allow small business owners to showcase their business ventures, whether it be food vendors or cigar brands.

Black owned cigar lounge...WELL DONE!!! If you dont smoke, this place is well ventilated you couldnt even tell there were so many people smoking cigars. I do not smoke cigars, but this will be my husband and Is new date night spot. Gin, was AWESOME and suggested a good mixer for the hookah (Kiwi & Strawberry) amazing taste. The seating is comfy and laid back and an amazing live band setting the vibe. Went on a Friday night a little before 8. Perfect spot. The only negative thing I found about this location was parking. Parking spaces are limited and youll have to park on the street in the neighborhood or across the street in another parking lot. Besides the parking this is really a nice spot. I wish I could have had my 50th party here.

This place is very nice and chill. The waitresses are friendly. My friend and I went there Friday night for a drink and hookah. I had already been warned by several people not to use my credit/debit card due to double charging etc., so we made sure to have plenty of cash. Our bill for 2 drinks and hookah came to $81 which included 15% gratuity. We gave the waitress $85 as soon as we got the drinks and hookah. Cool, right! 1.5 hours later we finished and headed out the door, the owner proceeds to follow us out the door and ask, were we leaving, we both said, yes. Then he asks, did you guys pay your tab?. First off before you follow a customer outside and ask if they paid the tab, ask the wait staff first! He wasnt mean but in my opinion that was unprofessional. I will definitely go back but will make an announcement to everyone in the place that my tab has been paid and please dont follow me outside.

When I tell you this is my new cigar lounge when visiting Fort Worth Honey this is it. Gin, yes her name is Gin, makes a mean Makers and Giner beer. The seating is comfy and laid back. Amazing live band and the house was rockin . Went on a Friday about 7p did some hookah kiwi strawberry flavor. Perfect.

Getting off from work its My Friday stepping in on a Saturday night 1st time optimistic and hopeful. Music jumping nice adult crowd went to the bar for a drink. Simple Jack and coke $35 (what?) One drink (thats a meal) seriously. But okay Im worth it. Place is good but way over priced drinks and wait staff terrible act like you never order a drink even though you had a running tab. Will try again and hope the bar experience is less expensive and better.

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening out at West Jax. This Black-owned establishment was great for relaxing with friends and having grown folks time. They have a well-stocked bar and a small but nice cigar selection. I appreciate that they offer brands produced by Black cigar makers. The owner was present when I was there. He is a young entrepreneur trying to do great things.

Worst experience ever. 1st and last time attending. Went to see Jay Carlos ... made reservations for 4 @8p arrived on time was greeted by the person behind the bar advised her that we had a reservation for 8pm she asked me the name I gave it to her. She advised that she would have her server to sear us. After a few minutes she stepped from behind the bar to seat us. Seated us in the very back with our backs against the performing area I asked her if we could set across in the seats facing the performing area she said that someone specifically reserved those seats. She didnt even asked or look in her computer for the number of people that we had reservations for. We arrived at 8pm and left at 804pm....smh. Never gain she was so rude

Black Owned first off so congrats to that. My first impression was a vibe of grown and successful people. I met the owner and had a great conversation about the establishment. He has a great selection of local cigars plus some of your favorites. The bar was excellent and on point with the smoked Old Fashion. Im big on service and had no complaints about that. The DJ/Sax player kept the crowd in tune and vibe right. I will definitely make another night out. Thanks for the hospitality.

If I could leave 0 stars just because of Jillian, then I would. The spot is nice but the bartender/waitress Jillian is a thief. Jillian took my bfs ID and held it hostage for multiple days. This gem of an establishment is located on 8th Avenue in Ft. Worth and is well worth the pit stop. Cool warm vibes and impeccable customer service. The establishment has a beautiful lounge, an outside patio, hookah, huge selection of drinks, and a variety of cigars and accessories. The Jax piña colada was refreshing and the Cuban coffee was strong, rich, dark, sweet, and beyond delicious. I highly recommend their drinks! Jaie the owner made great suggestions and I plan to go back when I have enough time to relax and take it all in. Next visit Im purchasing the three cold stixx cocktail from their featured menu. Double check, but I believe they have food vendors nightly Wed-Sat. On the day I went they were having catfish & oxtails. Wish I couldve stayed for the delicious food. Black-owned!!! First, Id like to thank you for hosting this event for us Yelpers, it was greatly appreciated! I tell you, this is the best Yelp experience Ive had, thus far. Of course, this is outside of our events. Thanks to some of the other reviews, I was able to figure out the parking. I drove around, twice, before thinking to read the reviews in hopes someone explained the puzzle. Wallah, there it was and there I went. When walking in, I noticed the cleanliness of the establishment and the ambiance. I chose the best time to visit, three wonderful ladies (fellow Yelpers) joined and it made the experience even better. We were lucky to be the only three in the establishment, which gave us time to chat with Jay (one of the owners) and learn more about the cigar lounge. We spoke about so many things, I enjoyed this outing. On Saturday nights, they have a food truck that visits in the early evening. You can kick back and enjoy some drinks, hookah/cigars, and some good food all in one. Jay did say they bring in a DJ to add to the weekend vibes, thats another thing to look forward to. I had a pomegranate martini, it was delicious and was well-made. This is on my list of regulars, Im not a serious cigar smoker, but Id go to have a drink or two; and enjoy the company. I will say, that I get what some others have said about the gratuity. I never think about that when purchasing solo, it took me by surprise. As a whole, I never stiff folks when it comes to tipping for great service. The problem is, there arent enough folks out there that tip, even with great service. I have been a loyal customer of West Jax for almost 2 years. I want to commend the staff on how they handled unruly patrons on Saturday when I went. While being yelled at the young woman (who has always been a helpful server) acted professionally and removed herself from the situation. The owner stepped in when these patrons began to act in a threatening manner. He protected his staff and his customers during this event. My family along with several other customers looked on in disbelief on what was transpiring. I love this establishment, the atmosphere, drinks and service are always impeccable. This will alway be my second home.

It was our 1st time here and It was not a good experience and we won t be returning. My daughter was trying to celebrate her birthday here but the experience was awful. We arrived around 7:15 pm and there were 5 people in the place which was very small and my daughter had a party of 20+ people. All the tables were reserved except one that seated 5 and we asked if we were able to also sit in the section next to it and they were ok with it until 8:30, because that section was reserved at 9:00 pm. So we started ordering drinks and we also ordered 2 hookahs. I m not sure who the lady was I m thinking she was the manager she came in later and right off the bat she was rude to us and canceled our hookahs that we ordered in time to smoke and be done before her 9:00 reservation. We tried talking with her but she dismissed 20+ PAYING customers. That s ridiculous in itself and on top of that she still charged us for the hookahs that she canceled!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Being UNPROFESSIONAL and having a RUDE ATTITUDE WILL GET YOU NO WHERE MAAM!!

This place is sketch. They have 3 cigars to pick from and if u smoke your own cigars they charge $10. When you go to pay your tab they add a large party gratuity for 2 people then add a $20 cover for entertainment even tho there wasn t any entertainment but they do it at the end so you can t say anything about it. If you ask for a copy of your receipt they don t give it to you they hide until you leave. This is the worst place of business I have ever been to.

Wow .what a vibe! This place was so comfortable, welcoming, clean, relaxing .the atmosphere was perfect. The crowd was decent. Very mature and the music was on point. Our hostess Jen was so sweet and the drinks were amazing. I absolutely recommend this place. They even have a fire pit patio in back that was really nice for the chilly nights. Gotta check it out y all.

The place does have a nice chill atmosphere,its the waitresses that were VERY unprofessional as well as disrespectful. AFTER a waitress had said a few things to us that were totally uncalled for and unnecessary, yes, it was very upsetting and the way it was handled by the manager was hurtful. It seems like it all started because the attention she was used to receiving from a gentleman was directed my way and she obviously decided it was OK to insult us, the customers. We were very disappointed.

First time at a cigar lounge in DFW and I was highly impressed with what I saw. the bartender was VERY helpful in choosing my first cigar and very attentive to our needs. she also was very friendly and had a cool accent. The old-fashioned was absolutely amazing and even served us popcorn. I will definitely be back to this place Update: K made the experience alot of fun today! West Jax is THE place to be. if I could give 10 I would!

Last night I ventured into West Jax and was amazed at the quality of this cigar bar and lounge. My friends and I enjoyed high end McAllen while also enjoying quality sticks. The service staff was attentive and consistently confirmed that I was having a good experience. Also, the pours were very fair. I ve enjoyed several cigar lounges but the quality of this one is by far the best I ve seen. If you haven t been to West Jax trust me that it s a great place to lounge, game watch and relax.
