It had some wonderful pieces. There was a 40ft wide painting of image the resurrection of Jesus. The holocaust museum was impactful and I found pieces that are some of my favorite pieces I have seen across America. We had to hand write our personal information in a book for all who enter to see but it was for safely. Nothing to match up if was true or not. I do not recommend getting the Groupon that is advertised here on Google Maps. It was the reason that we found them and decided to go. But redeeming it was a nightmare and even though I had an email showing I paid, they wanted me to pay again because the voucher was processing. It took over an hour to have the voucher show the redemption code. Luckily the guy who wanted me to pay again said I could go in and he would pay for me and my daughter again. How insulting! I showed I paid and he treated us like we were deadbeats and made a scene about it in front of a like of 7 people behind us (who had to wait and watch this guy disrespect us). We were allowed to go in after we had been there over 15 minutes but we would have had to wait over an hour to see the museum if we had to wait on Groupon. We did buy from the gift shop and turned in our redemption code with the sweetest lady who was so kind and caring from the moment she greeted us from the beginning. I wish the guy had been that kind. We saw him talking to the person before us and he was giving them many bits of information on pieces and artists. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and wish we would have gotten that attitude but I got a different tone from him from the moment he heard the word Groupon. Don t make deals with Groupon if you are going to snub your nose at those who take advantage of pre purchasing tickets while in route. So pay full price. That is what they want. They can use it to touch up the paint between installations. And we had to walk around a ladder in a large three wall installation of self portraits. The ladder isn t even in an area that needed anything hung up. But there was a room of interactive art, you can leave a note on how the piece made you feel. I don t know how long it has been or if they always do it. But I put up a black leather piece for one I enjoyed. So I would recommend this as a place for unique pieces-just pay cash when you show up. At least parking was free. But try to get there early when the doors open like we did.

I was told I couldn t take professional photography with my camera, despite it not having a flash and in no way interfering with the art, but I was told I was more than welcome to use my phone to take pictures, despite the fact that phones have a flash. Apparently it s against policy, which is not found on the website or at the front desk, but I guess it s an issue after you ve already paid.

I enjoyed going here. They have some really wonderful art. Its weird because the sign points to an entrance but that is closed, and you have to go to another entrance. It was very cold when i went, so i would actually recommend bringing a light jacket. I also wish there were more places to sit, and better lighting. Being dark and cold with hard floors isnt the best. But people inside that worked there were nice and welcoming. And some of the art is absolutely stunning.

Small museum but filled with things to see. General admission let s you see the main exhibits for Old and New Testament. An extra $7 allows you to see the Jewish historical half of the museum (artifacts and holocaust exhibit). The must-see attractions are all included in the general admission, but the extra $7 doesn t hurt. Indoor sculpture room is beautiful with the sun shining through your glass ceilings! And the 40+ foot mural humbled my wife and I. Nice spot to check out for a spare hour or two. North Park Mall is right across the street in case you re hungry in the mood to see more!

I had my wedding here a few weeks ago and I was disappointed. The venue itself is nice but the management and event staff are horrible to work with. It was difficult to get a hold of them most of the time even though we had an event contract. They always made excuses. On the day of our wedding the AC was going in and out and our guests were hot! The staff was also not allowing us to freely take pictures which was frustrating for our videographers and photographers. Also there s lots of hidden costs. We also had things left behind that they didn t notify us about. Please look elsewhere at other museums or establishments to have your wedding. Weddings are once in a lifetime and the event staff were not accommodating.

This has to be one of the most amazing museums Ive ever seen. The art is beyond breathtaking. There are exhibits from everything to ancient maps, and replicas of Michelangelos art. Theres even art from Thomas Kinkade. Exhibits featuring items from the Holocaust are also on display. Theres European art, and a fantastic exhibit from a famous Argentinian artist that is phenomenal. The mural of the resurrection is beyond words. A must-go, and tickets are super economical. Kids under five are free. Its a bit tough but bus to reach, but it is near the mall, within walking distance. Staff was very polite and knowledgeable. This is highly recommended.

Buyer beware. I bought the tickets through Groupon, as I have twice already before. The groupon website specifies that the ticket is for the entire exhibits. When I showed up, with my church group of girls (6 of us) the young man at the front said the ticket was only to view art down the hall. We couldnt view the old testament side nor the Holocausts exhibit side. He then said for $4 more per person you can though. I was on a budget when I got the tickets on groupon. I had to pay $24 extra up front. I didnt want to dispute it because I had people waiting behind us also but I was very bothered by it knowing I was in a strict budget. So just beware, if you think your saving money by getting it on groupon, Youre not.

The expression Biblical Art was unfamiliar to me. I was curious about what was on display. When I went there, I saw that the Bible prints by Marc Chagall were the main characters. And the exhibition space was filled with various topics, such as the Holocaust, Jewish figures, Jewish religious objects, Michelangelos works, etc. And outside, sculptures related to the Stations of the Cross are installed. There was so much to see. In particular, amazing works by artists such as Andy Warhol, Käthe Kollwitz, and Mary Cassett are hidden throughout. It felt like a treasure hunt the whole time.

My favorite is Liberty toward the back left of the exhibit - def check that one out. :-) We went on a Saturday at 1p. There were maybe 8 other people there. Our baby got bored about 45-60 minutes in so we decided to leave so after, but the cool thing is the staff gave us an admission ticket to come back. Really kind! Both staff interactions we had, they were eager about their work and about us having an edifying time. Will def come back - when we can!

Many of us were looking forward to seeing the holocaust exhibit...We were courteous when we asked if there would be accommodation for a large group who drove several hours to see the exhibits - not to mention no one else was visiting the museum on a Tuesday afternoon... The management was not very kind or accommodating. Im sure the exhibits are wonderful but we were marginalized for not choosing to wear masks (because they dont work).

Very nice display if you have any interest in biblical art. I do not have a particular appreciation for art museums. After about a half hour I have seen about enough. This museum did have a nice mix and some very interesting exhibits. They do have paintings, but as well sculptures some nice photographs of Israel, and had a very interesting display of paintings of some of the old fallen cathedrals in Europe. overall it was very interesting even for those who arent necessarily excited about traditional art. It is a medium sized museum that you will need at least an hour and up to three if you really wanted to look in detail. I would say for most people one and a half to two hours would be a good time frame.

Love it. A great experience for me and my family. Learn a lot about the history of biblical art. So many amazing art work and pieces of history. I recommend you and your family going so you can be amazed on how life and art was. Some exhibits were of a harsh time.

Very impressive collection of religious art, including a large collection of Judaica. They host exhibitions throughout the year. We were fortunate to be able to see Barbara Hines A Celebration of Survival, a multimedia presentation on the Holocaust, its survivors and the many people who were rescuers. They also have an extensive collection of outdoor and indoor sculptures and statues. Very impressive.
