Thats my favorite place in whole DFW area! Cool people, very nice live music, and good drinks. However, there is a rude bartender, horrible and racist, who always disrespects you. (everyone knows who Im talking about) its a shame, because the rest of the staff is always kind and polite. I will always go back to White Elephant, but if hes there, I wont go in. Its better you change your position buddy, Youre not able to be a bartender.

Review of the White Elephant Saloon in Fort Worth, TX Well, partner, if you re lookin to step back in time to the days when cowboys roamed the dusty streets and outlaws drank whiskey by the gallon, then the White Elephant Saloon is just the place for you. Nestled in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards, this here saloon is as authentic as a well-worn pair of boots. From the moment you push through those iconic swinging doors, you ll feel like you ve been transported straight into a Wild West movie. The wooden walls, adorned with mementos of a bygone era, tell tales of gunfights and poker games that could ve turned deadly. The bar itself is a sight to behold, a long stretch of polished wood that s seen more than its fair share of rowdy nights and tall tales. The drinks flow like the mighty Rio Grande, with whiskey as smooth as a silver-tongued gambler. And the folks behind the bar? They ve got a charm that ll make you feel right at home, whether you re a city slicker or a seasoned cowboy. If you re lucky, you might even catch a live band pickin away at some good ol country tunes, the kind that makes you want to dust off your boots and hit the dance floor. But it ain t just about the drinks and the music. The White Elephant Saloon is steeped in history, and every corner of this place has a story to tell. So grab a seat, order yourself a drink, and soak in the atmosphere of a true Texas legend. Just remember, in a place like this, the only thing thicker than the smoke in the air is the camaraderie of folks who ve come to enjoy a slice of the Old West. So saddle up and make your way to the White Elephant Saloon. It s a taste of the Wild West that you won t soon forget If you re hankerin for a taste of the Wild West and got a craving for a bowl of red as hearty as a cattle drive, then the White Elephant Saloon is where you need to hang your hat. Located in the Fort Worth Stockyards, this legendary watering hole serves up not just history and honky-tonk, but a chili that ll warm you up like a campfire on a cold Texas night. Step inside, and you ll be greeted by the creak of wooden floors and the sight of walls lined with cowboy memorabilia, reminding you that this saloon has been a part of the Texas story since the 1800s. But don t let the old-timey charm fool you when it comes to chili, they don t mess around. Their bowl of red is the kind that sticks to your ribs and makes you feel like you could wrangle a longhorn right after. Rich, thick, and packed with tender chunks of beef, it s a no-frills, all-flavor experience. The spice is just right not too hot to scare off a greenhorn, but with enough kick to satisfy any chili connoisseur. Pair it with a cold beer from the bar, and you ve got yourself a meal that s as authentic as the cowboy boots on your feet. The White Elephant Saloon ain t just a place to wet your whistle; it s where you can fill your belly with some of the best chili this side of the Pecos. So if you re ridin through Fort Worth and your stomach s growlin , make sure you stop by the White Elephant Saloon for a bowl of red. It s a true taste of Texas that ll have you comin back for more.

A live music act that normally plays there on rotation was performing, and played the following songs: Toby Kieth- courtesy of the red white and blue Lee Greenwood- God bless the USA. Little Texas- God bless Texas The crowd loved it - was shouting great things and Pro Conservative things, and the performer was CANCELLED over this and all their remaining gigs ELIMINATED. Last time I will EVER, EVER, EVER step foot in this place. When you start firing Country Music Patriotic Performers for their songs in DOWN TOWN FORT WORTH, youve just become Dodge killing the HEMI and going Electric. You just killed your entire fanbase. Everyone needs to know their management did this - TALK WITH YOUR WALLETS AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH Cody - just know all your fans support you brother

The atmosphere was awesome regardless my sober visit and I can only imagine it would have been better had I been drinking. The hats on the wall and ceiling were cool and the memorabilia of the saloon through the ages with its special guests and everything was awesome as well. Id like to know more about this place the next time I go. Would be cool to see and hear about the history of this one in particular.

The bartenders charged $50 dollars to my card after they stated it declined then charged my friends card $70 (total balance $70). The bartenders then aggressively denied it once I went back (same day to figure it out). The bartender SARAH P was unprofessional, stating, you re not worth stealing money from while aggressively trying to stare me down while I spoke to her manager about it. She said she makes much more than me as a bartender to prove her point, implying I was broke. It was just a weird interaction. Low key very strange. Most likely was drinking behind the bar. Probably shouldn t do that unless you can handle your alc. I would avoid this place unless you live close by to dispute fake charges. And Sarah p we all know bartenders struggle. No shame in it. But you should probably be more kind and understanding at work. Might up your tips so you don t feel the need to steal :)

This was a very lively bar. It had that old saloon feel to it, which was very cool. I ordered a whiskey well drink and it was nice and strong. The atmosphere was great. It was very spacious and it had somewhat dark lighting. There was also a pool table, which was pretty neat as well. Being that it was on a Sunday in which I visited, there wasnt live music. From the reviews that I read, live music is played here on some nights (I assume Fridays and Saturdays). The decor and the rodeo theme make this place well worth the visit. Overall, I would definitely return to have a couple of drinks and to enjoy the cool atmosphere.

We were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary! We got married and peaster Texas and stayed at the stockyard Hotel for our wedding night and remember very fondly the white elephant Saloon which might have been called something else then but I dont think so. While youre at the white elephant Saloon its worth a trip across the street just to walk in and check out the stockyard Hotel. Lots of Famous folk have stayed there and their ceiling fan system is unique. Fort Worth still has Dallas beat hands down in every category. I hope they dont lose that appeal We didnt eat here. SO MUCH FUN!!! We were introduced to this saloon by new friends. And it was such a good experience. Especially for people who are visiting the stockyards and want the Western experience period everyone was very friendly and the ambience was just so fun with all the white elephant figurines and the cowboy hats. The music was great and there was a small dance floor for 2 stepping but of course I dont know how to do that so I just filmed and watched and had a good time. They had a very good variety of beverages from well to top shelf, and a drinks were reasonably priced. The bartenders were very fun and attentive, and had a heavy pour. I didnt eay anything there so no opinion on that. I didnt feel out of place at all here. I will definitely come back once it cools down as the stockyards is a great place to bar crawl in western duds.

One of the bartenders (long brown curly hair, short short denim shorts) needs a lesson or two on Texas hospitality. A very nasty attitude.

It is always cool, but a $10 cover for a bar is a little ridiculous.

Nice relaxing, low key place. They had live music which was phenomenal. The downside is we had to sit at a table full of abandoned and empty drinks. Nobody came to take our order so we are assuming you have to go to the bar that was stacked with people. Cute decorations of cowboy hats all over. Mightve been a nice hang out, but we didnt feel like dealing with the crowd.

Great place for live music and cold drinks. The Staff are great people. They know how to treat customers that are from out of town. They showed our group what Southern Hospitality was all about.

Popular place, great music, unique and fun atmosphere and excellent service. Shout out to Kenny, as he was friendly and super fast even with all the people there. We had a great time and would recommend to others for a stop in while visiting the Stockyards.

The White Elephant Saloon in Stockyards has a long history of fun nights. Bar staff suhucks - lol! Terrible or really no service. This place is only in business bc of its location and decent live music. Just find a table and a seat and enjoy the music!
