Interesting set up. I hear it can get pretty crowded on weekends, but I ve only gone weekdays. Also there s no menu so be decisive, this is not a craft cocktail kind of place, but Chris (one of the bartenders) is open minded

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Somehow found this place just by zooming in on areas on the map. We re here from MN on a work trip and just wanted a cool small bar to grab a beer and this place did not disappoint. Chris was great and gave us a ton of ideas on where to explore in the area.

Came in with my state issued Id not a drivers license and they wouldnt accept it???? Like what even my friend works there and Im a chef at a neighboring venue. Never in my life have I been treated such unprofessionally we always treat service industry people better than regular guests. But not here I guess and its my birthday today. And Ive spent hundreds in this place and theyve never had a problem with my id. Im 33 by the way and believe me I wont ever go back and Ill definitely spread the word around for us service industry guys to stay away. Shame on yall for treating me like that. Like wow. Wish I couldve gave a negative star review yall dont even deserve one star after tonight.

The bar tender was extremely rude. Claims I didn t pay the door fee, when the receptionist asked if we were here for goth night. I replied no and she said okay you can sit at the bar. We sit down and he refused us service and started screaming saying Only regulars or my friends get to drink here . Also said I was being cheap and didn t pay the fee when the receptionist told them she let us in. He then goes on to say I will buy everyone here a round if they leave or pay the fee. Would not recommend this place also taking legal action.

This is an amazing example of what redevelopment can do. Although a little bit unseen from the street, the vibe in this bar is mellow and homey, a good place to hunker down for a good long while. The music is prime and bartenders are attentive, talented, and gratuitous. Great bar, I hope it sticks around.

Come on back if its been awhile! I used to work here with some real solid staff... however, the ownership situation wasnt the best.... as of a couple months ago the Distro bar is under new ownership and scheduled to be updated to a music venue bar again under a new name (so I am told)... literally came back tonight for the first time since last year and thoroughly enjoyed myself! If you have stayed away due to past issues... come give it another go!

would leave NEGATIVE stars if i could. we walked in on St Patrick s day tonight and the bartender was so drunk she had no idea what she was doing. not only was she being disrespectful to us but to everyone around us. we couldn t even order a drink without her saying something out of pocket. couldn t get her name but don t recommend going if she s working. left before our drinks were even poured IF she even remembered what we were drinking AND chased me out the bar after we refused service from her.

The coolest thing about this bar is the building itself. Its a very old building with a lot of character. Its a good place to do open mic and play music on tuesdays. Theyve got a large TV or two for the people that want to watch sports or whatever. The bartenders are always nice. Theyve got comfortable seats. When the weather is good you can sit outside.

This place is a scam they thought I wouldn t noticed they try to charge me more for what I payed for, tried calling up there to get my money back but apparently the manager is never there or won t return my calls, this isn t the first time they done this they also did it to my friend and over charged her 100 dollars more so be careful with this place.

This place is becoming one of my favorite little hole in the wall, unknown bars that I was was more well known. I would normally give a place like this a Mac of 4 stars but I really want to give this place a bump, which is well deserved. Ive only been a handful of times on Friday and Saturday night, and its been fun. Live music, really good drinks at a very reasonable price, and some Big Buck Hunter. Not sure what else you could ask for?
