The Foundry District is like a hipster lumberyard threw a rave in an abandoned art gallery. Seriously, this place used to be industrial buildings, but now its a haven for cool shops, trendy eats, and enough murals to make a chameleon jealous. Feeling peckish? Grab a craft beer and gourmet burger while admiring graffiti that would make Michelangelo tip his beret. Need retail therapy? Hit up the vintage stores for treasures that would make Marie Kondo do a happy dance (or maybe spark a sparking joy rebellion). Just be prepared to dodge the occasional rogue rollerblader (its Fort Worth, yall) and dodge the highbrow art prices (some paintings cost more than a used car). But hey, for a unique Fort Worth experience thats equal parts edgy and artsy, the Foundry District is a must-visit!

Such a cool spot to visit and also to take interesting pictures. There are speaker s playing music, and some chairs where you can relax to appreciate the art on the murals. Inspiration alley is a hidden spot behind Docs Records.

Im still trying to figure out if The Foundry District is a specific business or an area? I went to Docs Records And Vintage yesterday but I didnt go to a museum if this is what it is. I gave it a 4-star rating for the record store, and other than a ham radio club down the street that I go to, I really cant rate the district itself since I havent been anywhere else. I dont even know if the ham radio club may be inside or outside of a district Im not familiar with? I do know that parking can be a pain in the rear at the record store. Youre pretty much parking on the streets if youre unable to get a parking spot in the business parking lot.

No complaints. The service was excellent, the beer was pretty good. I did a flight and it was very reasonably priced. Wish they offered food other than a pretzel and hot dog. The waitress said they were trying to start up a pizza truck. Will definitely go back.

I came here to do a photoshoot for my daughters birthday. We came on a Thursday at 7 pm which it was perfect because it was empty and we had the whole space to ourselve for the shoot. If you are looking for an art type of place to shoot this is it. We really enjoyed it.

I was not impressed. There is little to no cohesion or semblance of unity in the design. It appears to be a hodgepodge of renovated and new buildings with nothing in common except for the name -The Foundry. In places - it wasnt even connected by sidewalks. My pal had a delicious cup of coffee at a coffee shop and we browsed an interesting vintage record shop, but we were looking for local art for sale, but saw virtually none. Hopefully this is phase one of this development and its just now in its infancy.

I went to The Foundry District last Friday. It is such a fun place to hang out either by yourself or with a group of friends. The murals in the Inspiration Alley and on the track by the two sides of the road made me feel as if I was walking in NYC. I felt the artists happiness of expressing themselves when creating these murals. Oh, I almost forget, the Craftwork Coffee Shop is amazing!

I dig it. The idea of displaying some public art is a wonderful thing. Youre going to find some murals on the walls of inspiration alley and also on the back of a building for Craftwork Coffee. I just loaded about 20 pics. Very cool spot to gets some pictures taken...bring your friends and family or whoever. I found myself smiling... probably just to know this spot is here.

Its like shrinking down and stepping into an art gallery filled with the whos who of this Citys art scene, so its fitting they just added a mural inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Awesome mom and pop retail, great outdoor event space, and plenty of exciting things on the horizon (art house theater, distillery). Come for the photo ops and stay for the vintage record store, awesome burgers, hyper local boutiques, etc.
