My daughter and I decided to eat at the Texas Roadhouse in Flower Mound last Sunday and like usual, it was up to our expectations. The service was good and we were seated right away. We both ordered the small steak , salad and stuffed sweet potato and had the Blooming Onion as an appetizer. The onion was delicious, perfectly fried and paired with the dipping sauce it was so good. The steak was done exactly as ordered and it too was wonderful. Their house salad is always a hit and the Ranch Dressing is the best ever. I think the reason I love this salad so much is due to the salad dressing. It tastes fresh and so much better than the bottled variety. The stuffed sweet potato was a nice alternative to the usual French fries or mashed potatoes. The only concern was that our waiter somehow got the idea that we were going to share our 6 ounce steak! When we pointed out that we wanted 2 orders made exactly the same he was very nice and apologized profusely for his mistake. He said he would bring my steak out right away but we were actually finished when it arrived. I feel this was not our servers fault. He again apologized for his error. All in all, I will continue to support this restaurant. The food is consistently good and their prices are very reasonable. In fact, fast food eateries charge about the same as the Roadhouse but without the atmosphere or food quality.

As we get more people living here, the crowd gets larger all of the time. The service and quality have been affected as well. The food is decent but not great. As a result, the quality suffers. They still cant cook a steak thats medium rare, I hate to say. Its not our first choice. We went again after about month and my wifes steak was wrong. It seems if we go for steaks you can bet at least one will be cooked wrong. Recooking a steak is never a good option.

Once upon a time, this location used to be one of the better Texas Roadhouses in DFW. The last two times weve been here has cemented the idea that this is no longer the case. My family and I caught e coli from this establishment a couple months back and we almost never returned, but tonight decided to give the business a second chance. Tonight, we might as well not have existed inside the restaurant. We spent an hour and a half sitting down and of that total time our waitress approached our table three times. Once to get our drinks, fifteen minutes later took our order for our appetizer, then thirty minutes later coming back to get our meal order. We never were offered any drink refills, our appetizers and our food arrived cold and we ended up being the last people in the restaurant. We arrived two hours before closing, how was this acceptable? We were only a family of 5. There were people seated in our section who got there after us, had their drinks and food orders taken and meals brought out before we even saw an appetizer. This Texas Roadhouse has lost my familys business.

We have always loved their food. The steaks are seasoned so deliciously, and for a decent price. The chicken and burgers are delicious, too! If we want a steak, Texas Roadhouse is where we go. They are almost always busy, and yet the service is good. But sometimes the atmosphere is too loud when they celebrate birthdays. Love the attempt at enthusiasm, but it can be obnoxious..

Great place to bring family to eat at. All the food is wonderful, service is normally outstanding. Lots of country style decor to look at. The cocktails are also really delicious but they cant be taken togo sadly. The best entrees I have had is probably either the ribs or the steak. There is a combination where you can have both but the steak will be a bit smaller. Parking: Lots of parking but can get filled up at night which you may have to park further away. This may be difficult for those with mobility issues. I suggest dropping off your party near the front entrance and then find a parking space.

Me and 3 friends came to eat here and everything was good including the customer service up until me and my friends started taking turns going to the restroom before we left, as anyone would, but for some reason that gave our waiter a reason to think we d be walking out without paying (i m guessing because we all look very young which should not be any reason to assume) because I did not see any other waiter doing this to someone going to the restroom. Not to mention the exit is on the complete opposite side of the restroom. She stood by our table with a very annoyed look on her face (which wasn t the case at any point before this) without moving, going on her walkie talkie, and having security or other staff watch us as well. We felt very uncomfortable and watched the rest of the time there. When it was time for our checks she came back without saying a word nearly throwing the checks on the table and leaving immediately when I was paying cash. She finally came back and I asked to pay cash when she asked if I had any change or other bills or if I could cash app or zelle one of my friends which is very unprofessional. When I said no she then left annoyed and came back with my change. She then waited sitting in the unoccupied table behind us waiting for us to leave, so us being completely unsatisfied with the service, did not leave any tip (which we would have and always do leave a very generous tip to all our waiters) and she continued to follow us out the exit door when we left and yelled to us if we planned on not leaving any tip we should have just ordered takeout. Horrible service.

My favorite place of all time. Go here about once a week. Tonight something was off. No croutons on salad. Cold Sirloin, very dry, not the usual melt in my mouth. Heat lamp? Not sure, but definitely NOT my TR! Baked potato was tiny and D-R-I-E-D out, it was obviously one that had sat under a heat lamp. They forgot my Cheddar Cheese topping for the tater. Last but not least......she forgot my Vanilla Ice Cream (ala mode) on my $8/Apple Pie dessert. Pretty useless without the Ice Cream. I give it a Thumbs Down all the way. So very sad. I did call the restaurant, spoke to a live person. That made me happy, I did let her know what was missing and that I was 25 mins away and couldnt come back for the Ice Cream. It was already 930 by then and my food had to be reheated already. I did tip 15% even though I was picking up.

I love the food but HATE the service. Two weekends in a row at the Denton and Flowermound locations the host lost mine and my husband phone number. We ended up waiting an hour both times when we were quoted a wait time of 25-30min. The second occurrence in Denton the manager lacked emapthy and ownership. The manager had the audacity to say we texted you three times. When i told them Ive been looking at my phone the entire time and did not receive a message, they didnt even bother to confirm my number, just dismissed it entirely. In Flowermound I ordered a Sangaria Margarita on the rocks and received it frozen. The server then informed me it only comes frozen which i knew was a lie bc i was there last week and ordered the same thing! When i told her my drink order was wrong she insisted that I was wrong! Only to come back later and tell me she got the orders mixed up. The Denton and Flowermound locations were my absolute favorite spots but they have gone down hill in this last year. These 2 locations need to be like The Colony, they know what their doing. If youre at any other location but The Colony get your food to-go or find somewhere else bc the disrespectful experience and the long wait is not worth it.

My steak was perfect, which seems to be hard for people to do, but the wait for someone to take a drink order was ridiculous. We went on a Thursday night around 8 and waited over 15 minutes for water. But the sweet rolls are yummy and my blue steak was pure perfection. It was so loud our server had to keep asking us to repeat ourselves which was annoying, and we couldnt have a conversation (wish I had brought some earplugs, ears still ringing a week later). I m literally crying right now with how awesome this place is. They ask if it s your first time here at this location. We said yes since it was but are definitely regulars at TRH. They brought us a sample of chili since all locations are different. They put a lemon on our water. They brought us peanuts. They brought us a coupon to come back next time for a free appetizer. We dont eat here too often, but we have never had a bad experience. Wait time in evening can be long some days 40+mins, best to call ahead for a reservation. Either way the food is so worth it. Parking: Good amount of parking in front and sides but considering its next to other businesses its shared parking. Have had to park in front of the offices in the far back before on busy nights. Kid-friendliness: Its a loud environment, so I say its kid friendly for those who worry about their kids being loud and disturbing others dinners. Wheelchair accessibility: Not many areas accommodate wheelchairs but it is possible to make it work. A bit crowded in area we sat for having a wheel chair but it can happen.

We went on a Monday evening and were there by 6 pm. Normally foid comes out fast - even when they are busy. Tonight, we had disappointing service. Our old cups and plates were not cleaned off the table to make room for our main course, coffee was cold, steaks took over 40 minutes to come out of the kitchen and were wrong (rare was cooked well done, and it was dry). By the time the correction was made, we had to leave. The manager was very kind and receptive - even offered to comp the steak (which we declined). We love the food and usually have top knotch servers, however today was a series of fumbles , not just one.

Food was fine. Went to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately our server said they were too tired to saddle up our birthday guest. No free desert either. I think well celebrate our birthdays somewhere else moving forward.

I ordered Tx roadhouse full slab of ribs to go. About $28 with tip. The place was packed before 7pm on a holiday. The girl working the window and the hostess were very kind. The ribs, the part that was tender and extremely delicious was dark meat. The ones that was tough meat, dry was literally white meat. I didnt know ribs had dark/white meat. Had I gotten only half slab and it was all white meat, I would have been extremely unhappy. My question to the management, Can we request to have all dark meat? This will really decide if Im going to order ribs from the establishment.

My friends and I love coming here frequently! We always enjoy our service at the Flower Mound location and we almost always have Caleb as our waiter and he is very attentive and patient, we hope his work doesn t go unnoticed! We will be back again :)

Rude customer service. The owner was extremely condescending to me and my family. It is sad to say that we will not be returning to this location again. In the 5 years we have been coming here we have never had an issue here before. But the way the owner was acting just left a horrible taste in my mouth. Hopefully, they can get some training on better customer service starting with the owner herself. She really needs to take a look and evaluate her character.

At 515 we were getting a massage across the street at 630 we left to roadhouse then waited 15 min on a table, once at the table we ordered 2 beers. After another 15 min the wader apologized about our drinks not being there and asked about our order. My wife said can we get a drink before we order. Another 5 minutes goes by the wader comes back and ask if we are ready to order we again ask about our drinks and go ahead and order. Shortly after that a manager ask how we are doing, I asked for bread because our salad had just arrived. She tells us we are intoxicated and heard this from another manager. I then asked for my tab and we left. Point is we havnt had a drink all day and got accused of being intoxicated. We will not be back.

Enjoyed a dinnertime last weekend. Our food tasted great, only issue was the portions were on the smaer side. Our witness was awesome, best we had in quite some time. Give them a shot.
