The food is decent, the tables are not cleaned up after a family leaves, prepare for a show if you cant handle untidiness. hopefully the place improves with feedback. 10-5-24 update that the food is really good here and while the service can be faster, its worth the wait.

Stopped and tried samosa chaat and masala dosa- both were delicious!! Took home some sweets to enjoy with tea- they were mouthwatering!! Great service, the gentlemen behind the counter were very courteous and helpful in explaining the menu items. Dining area was very clean, as was the kitchen (open kitchen- you can watch them cooking your dosas, etc)- I highly recommend this spot!

Very dirty. The employees manage food without gloves and touch their phones and other things. Just very disgusting to see. I asked for a chicken tikka Frankie and when I came over he was touching the naan and added the toppings with bare hands. They really need to get better with their hygiene game and keep the swadeshi name.

Tried these items so far and loved the taste - Guthi vankaya curry with bagaar rice, chicken pulao, Irani chai, uttappam, jalebi, masala dosa, pakodi, Dil Kush, etc. Also they have Idly and Dosa freshly made batters , homemade yogurt, cutted vegetables, etc providing healthy and tasty option to cook at home.

We were missing such a place in Flower Mound. Jalebi is my Favorite. The Chef making Jalebi and Dosa is very nice and adjusts as per your needs. I like the jalebi crispy and he will make fresh. **One of the best Indian restaurants in the Dallas area!** The customer service is exceptional staff members always take great care of their customers with a fantastic attitude and patience. Went so excited and got super disappointed. None of the vegetables were fresh. Most customers came saw the bad quality and left. Ordered Samosa and Falooda. Samosa was decent but the Falooda was super bad. Folks in the kitchen need lot more training on how to prepare food and drinks.

Just got back from their restaurant and returned home, not too satisfied. We ordered Idli / Vada - & - Rava Masala Dosa. We were told that Idli / Vada are only available until Noon, which I understand as it says on their menu that items on the menu under Tiffins were available until noon. The person behind the counter asked somebody and asked us whether we wanted our Dosa Crisp or Soft ? We decided to go with the crisp version. As soon as I proceeded to pay for the Dosa, I was told that unfortunately, Rava Dosa is not available, but, Mysore Masala and Regular Masala Dosa was available, but, the Chutney was not available ! We decided to just leave . If you go there, call them before you go, even on a weekend. We decided that we were better off driving 13 Miles to A2B.

Good to have this Indian grocery and eatery. I bought some food to go and picked up a couple of grocery items. They have a lot of food choices from Cakes to Biriyanis. They seem to be well staffed and everyone is working hard it appears. However, they need to improve their process. I picked up my order but then realized only one item was there. I was told to pick the other item at another place. After asking a person, I got my orders. Noticed they do not have a designated place to keep orders which are ready. They took my cell number but they do not have a process in place to ping me when order is ready. They also need to install an QR code menu and ask people to figure out their order before coming to counter as I noticed people scanning the board for minutes to decide holding up the lines. Even better ask people to place online order much like Hanuman temple in Frisco does. This is not a critical review, just some observations that I hope they will take into account. It is in our interest for the shop to succeed but to do that, they definitely need to get consultative help to streamline process, ordering system and more so customers experience is smooth.

This highlighted the need for more focus on consistency throughout the menu. Additionally, the bustling atmosphere, while vibrant, bordered on noisy, making conversation a challenge. The dosa, a classic South Indian dish, fell short. Arriving cold and lacking its signature crisp, it failed to live up to expectations. Thankfully, the kottu paratha was a saving grace. Packed with flavor and expertly prepared, it showcased the culinary talent present in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the positive experience with the kottu paratha wasnt shared by other dishes, which arrived cold and dry. Considering its newness, these hiccups can likely be attributed to teething pains. With time and focus on consistency, both in the food and service, this restaurant has the potential to become a neighborhood favorite.

Pongulu was the worst could not even take a bite .. if you guys can t provide the fresh food stop doing th business and please don t cheat the customers . This place has the best customer service one guy was so sweet and even asked if i liked the papdi chaat since i made some changes. They also happily obliged to making some changes for me. Went today and they were setting up, a very good addition in Flower mound . The assortments in shelves were good, the food section is being set up , will update that after they are fully functional. The groceries was fresh, the dry grocery section was well stocked. The bakery section had minimal offerings now. I am sure this location will see more footfall of customers, if they price it right and customer service impeccable. Wishing Swadeshi the best in FM.
