I have been here a few times in the past and have enjoyed the food...in the past, not the present. I picked out the items for my burrito and also ordered wings because I never had the wings before. The food took over 20 minutes to come to the table, we were the only customers who ordered, and one table got their order before us. The burritos were huge and warm which was a good sign, and the chips and salsa were good. The burrito that I ordered was not the burrito that I got, items were missing from it. The pork carnitas tasted of pulled pork, smokey and that was the only flavor of the burrito, none of the other items on it had any flavor at all. Then I got my wings and fries, and they looked good...looked good indeed. I took a fry and popped it into my mouth, and it tasted of nothing but oil, no flavor except oil. The wings could have used a bit more sauce, but not too bad at all, looked meaty, and then a bite of it. The wing was so dry, it was like eating a stick, I had to have a drink to get it down. The next one was not as dry, but not good at all. I enjoyed the chips and salsa the most, and would not recommend the food here at all, unless you want quantity instead of quality.

Don t try to compare this to any traditional cuisine and just have fun with it. The staff was friendly and seems like it might be a fun place to dine-in. The method of ordering is unique but leaves little room for staff error. This twist on Mexican is basically the abomination of a cuisine that Americans are known for, but it still turns out a good product. I d like to say it s a slightly better version of a Chipotle with more of a restaurant and bar vibe but the variety is a little more robust and I think a direct comparison would be a slight discredit to what J Neely s has done.

Ordered 8 piece wings and fries. The fries were way overcooked. They tasted and sounded like I was eating wave potato chips. The wings were also overcooked with a little to no flavor whatsoever. The place was pretty hot inside. The cashier was very sweet, polite, and nice.

Cool place, guessing this is an atmosphere/ hang out spot but i went for the food on a monday afternoon. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered a Ribeye steak burrito, Mexican rice, pinto bean. Burrito was Okey but honestly kinda bland. Found myself having to stare into the burrito for what I was gonna taste next. Staff was fine, kind, and somewhat helpful when trying to search for what is popular here. I had an awkward conversation with the girl when i asked whats good here, its my first time. I felt like she wanted to say nothing, or we only sell burritos before she awkwardly said ummm I like the tacos? With a long pause and walked off back to the counter. Overall, I wouldnt come back for the food but maybe for a few drinks with the guys. Underwhelming, Id rather go to Chipotle.

Neely s Burrito Bar 05-31-24 Had lunch with family! Service was good. Not too busy. It s almost hard for me to order because of so many choices! Friendly atmosphere I had Beef & Chicken with Peppers and Onions with Avocado Ranch and Queso! They were so good. One of my grandsons had the Burrito Basket with Beef and Chicken and all the trimmings! It came with tortilla chips. The other grandson had The Burrito Basket with Brisket and Pulled Pork and all the trimmings! It came with Tortilla Chips. All the food was served fresh and hot! We also tried the Spicy Asian Wings. They had just enough spice and were meaty. I will get them again.

Servers keep you waiting upon arrival. Not friendly. Food was alright, however, they give you little meat for what you pay, beans were hard. I ordered off the special menu (chicken tacos with beans). The food can be really good. The staff here is too inconsistent. Its usually a bunch of highschool kids who are working so slow its disgusting. Sometimes the burritos hit pretty good and the prices are fair. I think the owners should watch some security footage of these kids working though. There is no sense of urgency here and they got rid of online orders.

We got 2 burritos. The overall quality of the food seemed pretty good and the prices were not bad at all either. However, the burrito was pretty tasteless, even with pico de Gallo, roasted corn salsa, cilantro lime rice, queso, and salsa it still just tasted like smoked meat. I definitely would not get the carnita again. The biggest problem was that they barely put any sour cream on it at all and we paid an extra $2 to have queso on both burritos........ one burrito had no queso at all and the other burrito had the tiniest smideon of queso stuck at one end. Pretty much all the ingredients were layered pretty terribly in the burrito. You got all the meat at one end and all rice at the other. It was like it was made at taco bell. One of the burritos was literally a ball of meat at one end and then 6 inches of pure rice. We probably wont go back again.

I ve come here 3 times so far, and probably won t be back. The first time was great! Got the burrito bowl and brisket, and it was really good. So when I came back for a second time, around 7:30pm, I was disappointed when my rice was so hard, the bowl was inedible. I didn t leave a review about that before because the bartender came and brought my food back and fixed it. And it was great again, and I understand mistakes happen. However, I went 2 days ago, around 6pm, and once again, my rice wasn t edible. I m talking clumps of hard rice and just small pieces all through it that could break a tooth. It was a bunch of young kids working and I had to send it back, and it took longer to get than original, and then they gave me a very small amount, probably trying to avoid rice, but I told them I was open to the other rices if that one was low. Super disappointing because the flavors are really good, but I don t like sending food back, so my family and I won t be back.

Came here with my family awhile back (Thanksgiving break) when I was visiting and wasnt impressed with customer service. My mom ordered the wings, we waited and waited and just started eating. All of us had finished our meals and my mom still didn t have her wings. No one came up to our table to give us an update on her food, I almost felt like they forgot till I went up to the counter multiple times. Finally, I asked the girl at the register if we could just have a refund because my mom had just eaten off our plates and we wanted to leave. She replied and said she didn t think they could do that..but she could put it in a box when it s ready. We still waited after this and when she brought the food to our table she didn t even apologize to my mom or any of us about the wait. I don t think any of us will be returning and I think the staff should be trained a little more on what good customer service looks like.

First time out there after a few years, and wow has the quality improved so much! My burrito was PACKED (maybe bigger than chipotle s portions!) and the flavor was great. My one nit-pick would be that the ingredients were all separated, so it was a bit difficult to achieve all the flavors in one bite. But I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and sheer size! The atmosphere is a nice modern vibe, and very well taken care of. It was a slower time, but the staff was great & super helpful, and who I presume to be the owner or a manager was very sincere & genuine! If you re local to the area, I would definitely recommend to check this place out, & Im excited to come back and have a dine in experience!

We finally tried for the first time and unfortnately was disappointed. The food was super bland and was on the smaller side of portions for the bowl version of the burritos. Now my daughter got the chicken and cheese tacos kids plate and that was a great deal and lots of food. Overall it was similar to Chipotle but fell hugely short in the taste category.

The burritos were good. I ordered mine with brisket meat. The meat was tender with a good smoke flavor. You do select everything that goes in your burrito. They forgot the BBQ sauce I ordered on mine. They are a little slow with the service. Im not a wide guy, and the chairs are not comfortable. You need to be very skinny to sit in them.

A really nice place to eat Burritos. They have a unique way of ordering using a slip. They list the choices and you choose depending on if it s a burrito, bowl, salad or quesadilla. They have 4 kinds of tortillas. I had the vegetarian with chipotle chili tortilla and my husband had the chicken with sun dried tomato and basil tortilla. The food was very good and they also have bar. We just had water as we don t drink. The burritos are served with chips and salsa which are also good. We really liked it. The only thing I didn t like was the chairs. Not at all comfy. I tried two of them and both were really uncomfortable. But good food so will definitely stop by.

We were super excited to eat here but upon ordering our food and paying, we noticed the cook eating in the kitchen where the food is prepared. He wasnt wearing gloves and COUGHED into his hands and went on preparing food. My mother in law spoke up about it and he actually asked do you want me to wash my hands? So if youre looking for a place where the cooks eat in the kitchen while preparing food, dont wear gloves, and dont have any common hygiene sense to wash their hands, then we totally recommend this place. Wont be going back.

Second time going here. First time was a good experience. This time, not so much. My family gets their food and mines just sitting on the counter. I finally get it and the doubled up tortillas were VERY dry and cold. Like they were just taken out of the package and not steamed or grilled. I didnt want to complain so I gave it a shot. As soon as I folded the tortilla to take a bite, the tortilla splits in half and my food goes everywhere. I ask for some warm tortilla and I told the waitress to just bring me flour tortillas like what my son got. They were grilled. My food was remade instead. I get my food and everything was super cold and the flour tortillas were cold and not grilled like my sons. Probably the worst tacos Ive ever had. The rib eye steak was super chuy too. My wife got the queso chips with chicken on top and it was really good. Rice was very dry too.I may not ever go here or recommend going here to anyone if you want tacos.

Update: I absolutely loved this place but this last visit was horrible. My husbands stomach was hurting really bad for the rest of the day, after eating the shrimp tacos. The chips were stale and the chips didnt taste the way they used to. We spent about $50 just for the 2 of us. For just chips & a small container of queso, it was $8 and some change. I absolutely loved this place prior to our last visit, but my husband says we are never going back. Holy cow, this place is AMAZING! The food is beyond good!! Without a doubt, the BEST burrito, tacos, and nachos we have ever had.... Seriously! You have got to try it! I recommend to EVERYONE.

First time visiting restaurant. They have an interesting way to order. Each person on your party grabs a slip with the menu items on them and then you select what you want and how you want it made. Then you take the slips to the cashier, pay, and they make your food. The hostess was super nice and brought our food out to us. Everything inside was clean. Food tasted good. Go to Chipotle and drink at home. The idea is cool and the design fits but the execution isnt present. The burrito I ordered was filled with room temperature ingredients and the tortilla itself was cold. I got a side of chips and salsa and Im positive that I received the bottom of the bag as there wasnt a full chip to be had. Thankfully that worked to my advantage because they served my salsa in something that resembled a tablespoon measuring device. Service: Nope. The bartender tossed us a rag so we could clean off our own spot at the bar. The staring contest that ensued made it clear that cleaning bar was not her job. To cap it off the patio has signs everywhere advising it is a no-smoking area. One patron was standing right in front of her smoking, smoke wafting into the restaurant and she couldnt be bothered to correct him for the sake of the customers who would have rather enjoyed a smoke free evening. Go anywhere but here. Absolutely anywhere.

This is another Free bird knock off, only difference is they have a bar for those who like to drink and an outdoor patio. But if youre just here for the food its decent ( not anything special) nachos are cheap out of the bag chips the salsa is watered down and fountain drinks are $2.25 and come in a small cheap cup so you get plenty of exercise going to get refills. I speant $12 on the meal and a drink. Update- I gave this place a second chance and the food has not improved the rice didnt taste like it was completely done and it took 25 minutes for me and my friend to get a burrito. Will definitely not be coming back here for lunch.

The workers in there looked depressed,sad and just didn t want to be there. The cashier wasn t rude but wasn t welcoming either. If you go in there s no explanation on how to order, you just have to figure it out on your own or ask. I ordered a chicken bowl and it was on the only complaint the chicken was super cold. My husbands burrito tasted like the meat was sitting out for too long and it went bad or the pickled onions were bad. It did not taste right. The salsa is super bland no flavor whats so ever. It also tasted like the plastic container or box it sits in. It was not worth 40$ and is only a one time try.

I was pleased with my meal and drinks... Went to meet coworkers (15 ppl) I will say it was pack and seating was not comfortable... The vibe was nice and music was ok.... You have to go to the bar to order drinks and go to the front cashier to order your meal ( the menus are by the door when you walk in) Also there is a outdoor patio with flat screen tv s available to watch games

We have been here numerous times. Its been amazing everytime. Today was a different story. Got a burrito and tasted like I was chewing chips through the dried rice and steak. A massive disappointment, also got extra queso and received...none...at all. The only reason Ill leave a review is dont falter in your business practices and keep the customer happy. There was five adults and two children and only one out of the two children and were able to eat only because one of the children is a two month old my dad came for a visit to Texas and he is a newly diabetic which put a toll on his diet and mind you my dad has spent the last couple of years that you need any type of flesh except dairy so I will say that for picky eaters or people will dietary restrictions this place is a place to go because you get to pick whatever you want and you create your own which is very nice the food was phenomenal the service was mediocre I could have been better but atmosphere is nice

I was a little thrown off when I went in because there wasnt a menu. This was my first time visiting. Once you walk in the main entrance, grab a slip of paper and a pen from the bucket off to the left. There are a ton of options and about 5 different papers you can order on. I added pictures of all of them. I really liked the Frito menu, because...well...Fritos are delicious. If you get the Fritos, you can definitely share it with someone else. I would recommend sharing it. The burritos are huge as well. The chips and queso was also very tasty. My kids said this is the best queso Ive ever had. High praise right there. Everything was good. I only knocked one star because we had a little issue with the smoking area. We really wanted to sit on the patio, which is non smoking, but the smoking areas is literally on the other side of the gate. There was not a place out there we could sit where the smell wasnt. A bit of a disappointment. Also, if you have kids, they have a great corner of blocks, checkers, and book that out kids were able to entertain themselves with the entire time they werent eating!

All three of our group s burritos were cold and the rice was crunchy. The pork carnitas, according to my friend, tasted like seafood and was also rather dry. Overall, my burrito tasted like public school cafeteria food. The food was subpar at best, but even if it was delicious I wouldn t return here because I can t conscientiously support people like this with my money. I was sorely disappointed to find that this restaurant is anti-science and did not take necessary precautions during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ordered from Waitr and the driver picked up the wrong order. We called and the manager Lacy personally drove the correct order out on a busy night. Mistakes happen, but the length she went to in order to make things right spoke volumes. They care about their customers and gained a repeat one by their actions. The food was delicious and completely worth the wait.

A-mazing food and drinks! The nachos are my favorite but theres so much more than that. Whatever you get, cover it in queso and add pickled onions. Youre welcome. The prices are reasonable. Nachos big enough for two are less than $9 and mixed drinks are as low as $6 on special. The patio is the place to be, order your food and drinks there and enjoy a fully covered area with music and two TVs. Did I mention its dog friendly?

But when you see a worker that helped you and handed you stuff to then go outside to grab dirty plates where people have eaten...without gloves and then not wash their hands then proceed to touch other stuff like the pens they have there ... you begin to question what other simply hygienic stuff they dont do. also got really close to table... like yes i understand that masks mandates are no longer a thing but theres still a thing called a comfortable distance from people/social distance . The atmosphere is okay but had an absolutely terrible experience picking up food. Dropped by to quickly order some food to go. Not only did it take nearly 40 min, but by the time we got our food it was COLD. The overpriced queso had already hardened and my burrito was cold, flavorless and barely contained any meat. Another couple had waited over half an hour for their food as well and ended up with an incorrect order. There was zero communication, we were only left to wait, and wait. There was also a young child standing aimlessly in the kitchen amidst the workers trying to make orders. Definitely will not be going back. Not recommended.

Not wearing masks at all. The cooks are not wearing masks or gloves!! I am watching the cook make food with his phone in his hands and then touching the food.
