Empanadas were all very tasty (tried all but the spinach) & the chimichurri is the closest I ve had to the chimichurri you ll find in Bueno Aires. The store seemed family run, and extremely welcoming. The atmosphere was well done, clean, and inviting as well. I wish I took a picture before my family and I ate them all. We will be back!

Wife and I ate here today for the first time, and the empanadas, choripan, and pastries were absolutely delicious. Lautaro (owners son) was very friendly and shared the story of his parents moving from Buenos Aires and starting their business. Also met his mother Karina who makes all these delicacies herself by hand. We will be back for sure!

I was passing through the area and happened to see this place- I already had lunch but it s not everyday you come across an empanada spot, so I googled it to look at the menu and came across their 5-star rating, which you also don t see everyday! So I figured I could grab something for dessert. Their banutella pastry was delicious! It tasted fresh and wasn t overly sweet. In addition, the place was clean, and the service was great! Very friendly staff. I will go back asap to try the beef empanadas!

Hands down the best empanadas and the BEST SERVICE I ve ever had at a restaurant. They were so warm and friendly. I m bringing my whole fam. I walked in and the they were closed up for the day, which I didn t read the house on the door and they brought everything out for me. I can t recommend them enough. Family atmosphere for sure. Del Campo is a 10 Star gem! Every visit is a new discovery and Mama makes the most amazing empanada creations! The brother and sister team that run the store on the weekends are so polite, friendly and inviting. On our last visit we tried the Argentine Beef (which is way outside my comfort zone) and WOW WOW WOW! A party in my mouth! And the fresh Chimichurri, soooo flavorful.

Excellent authentic Argentinian empanadas in Flower Mound. Very big in size, very tasty, full on toppings and I like that they are baked. These are some of the best empanadas I ve ever had. I got beef and Argentina beef. The beef is so flavorful and delicious. I love their chimichurri sauce. It s so good and only makes the empanadas even better! These may also be the coolest looking empanadas I ve seen. They have really good dessert, too! The chocolate pastry was amazing. I still think about the sweet taste of that chocolatey goodness inside the pastry. Very friendly staff and good service! There s a few tables and bar seating. It s inside a nice shopping center and Grapevine Lake isn t that far away from you! I loved the interior vibes here. I definitely want to come back for a second visit.

If you havent been to this place you need to go. I dont Care where you are driving from. The people that run the place are just so friendly and glad you are there. The empanadas are off the hook good. Dont worry as it wont matter which flavor you get. They are all amazing. The chimmichuri sauce is next level. Oh and BTW, dont sleep on the pastries. Amazing Argentinian empanadas. They truly are beautiful and taste as good as they look. The family that runs it is from Buenos Aires and they were the sweetest! The spinach and cheese is a MUST. So freaking good, I think the bechemal sauce totally took it up a level. I liked the Argentine style (ground beef, olives and raisins) and chipotle chicken, too. They have sweet options also that I will have to come back and try! Make sure you get extra of their chimmichurri sauce, it was so good, but your order only comes with a sample of it.

This place is great. The food is very tasty and its owned/run by a very nice family. My daughter and I popped in here on a whim right before Christmas just to see what the place was like. Super cute family owned restaurant! They have a great selection of empanadas and desserts, and whenever I come here, theyre always so friendly. The traditional empanadas taste great with their chimichurri, and if youre like me and like a little spice, you have to try their pizza pepperoni empanada with some Mikes hot honey. Deliciosas empanadas! And even awesome desserts too. We had the Chicken Empanada, the Beef Empanada and the Argentine Style Beef Empanada. All of these were awesome but I liked the Argentine Style Beef more than the normal Beef Empanada, just because it had more flavor and more ingredients to it. We also had the Guava with Cream Cheese pastry, which also was good. The service was excellent. It is run by the owners wife and children and overall, they made us feel at home. Vegetarian options: I am not an empanada fan because most are oily, most contain meat and crust is usually meh! Holy moly I have found my place! Start with the crust - I was breaking it open the spinach empanada to cool and the crust came first. Sweet come to Jesus the crust is so tasty, light and flaky I could have just eaten that. Then I put a dollop of the house made chimichuri on a piece of crust - WHAT! In the world have I fallen into. Finally I get to try the whole empanada with the chimichuri and I am in heaven! I also tried the Caprese and again it was heavenly! 3 hours later and I am already thinking about making the 30 minute drive for my next meal!

It was great! My partner were out making a delivery to the Starbucks next door and the guy came out offered us some empanadas. I argued him down cus I thought he they were fried he said baked and then boom I agreed. He brought us a box out gave us beef and spinach empanadas. I bit one a Argentinian greatness ensued! Great service and food highly recommended!

The people here are super super friendly. The empanadas are delicious and authentic. They dont skimp on stuffing them either! My parents came here, recommended for my boyfriend and I to go, we recommended my sister and her boyfriend go- not one of us had anything negative to say. Definitely definitely make it a point to stop by here! The shrimp was my favorite and I think my boyfriend loved the beef. P.S. Try one of their dessert pastries too! The chocolate one was amazing!

Yummy food, the chimmi churri (sp?) sauce is great. Pro tip, if you are ordering a huge order for more than one person, make them all separate orders. They will only give you one chimmi churri per order, even if you order like 20 empanadas, and charge you for extras. Thats my only complaint because it doesnt make sense that 1 person is eating 20 empanadas.

I had an eye on this place the minute I saw the sign go up before it actually opened.I passed by everyday on my way to work waiting and finally I was able to stop in for something more unique for dinner. Everything was so beautifully made, it was almost too pretty to eat. I got the classic beef, ham and cheese and caresses. I did not taste and tomatoes or basil in my caresses! Pretty disappointing. Ham and cheese very filling and tasty. The classic beef was a bit on the spicy side, but good. The main problem was that I asked them to heat up the food, but it was Luke warm at best when I got home 2 mins later. Also, not a fan of forcing you to pay 15% minimum tip when you have to stand in line to place your take out order!

Okay folks we have a keeper here. Argentinian empanadas are different than the Mexican or Tex-Mex versions typically seen around here. We had Argentinian beef which has a filling like a picadillo, a Chicken and a Spinach. Well made and beautiful to look at. The spinach was our favorite followed by the chicken. The beef was well made were just not fans of olives which they contain. Service was super friendly, they really wanted to make sure we had food we would enjoy. It was nice to see somebody who cared so much about their profession. We will be back again and again. Three empanadas is a large lunch. Next time we will order two.

These are the best empanadas I have ever had. All of them tasted amazing, and I love the fact that Argentinian empanadas are baked rather than deep fried. I tried the beef and caprese ones at the store, and brought home the chicken, ham and cheese and also a sweet one (guava and cream cheese). The owners are super nice and friendly and I was super happy that they decided to open this new location in FM. I love supporting family businesses and totally recommend Del Campo Empanadas at Lakeside.

Great Argentine style empanadas with a thin crust bread and ample fillings. We tried the shrimp, spinach, ham and cheese and Argentina flavors. I loved the shrimp. My son loved the ham & cheese since he loves mozzarella. The spinach was also good. Its a small place but the layout works and ppl arent bumping into each other when queued up. Bottle drinks and coffee are available if you decide to eat some there. They will also heat it up if you cant wait to take it home. The puff pastry is also great. We will definitely go back and try some of their daily specials. This location is closed on Tuesday per the posted hours 2.04.23
