My husband and I have been visiting the rose garden for last few years enjoying the beauty of the rose bushes. To our surprise this year the rose bushes looked sickly--leaves falling off or no leaves due to black spot. This should not have happened. We have rose bushes and will get black spot if not cared for with proper spray or solution you put in soil at base of bush. I would think those who care for the garden would know this. It was really sad to see so many bushes affected by black spot.

Its a beautiful garden with many varieties of roses to recognize and learn from, but unfortunately the labels for many of the beautiful roses are missing. The end of March to the beginning of April is the best time to visit here to enjoy the bloom of roses.

This garden is incredible! It was much larger than I expected. There are so many varieties of roses and they have done a lovely job with mixing in arbors and vertical structures. It is hands down better than the rose garden at the arboretum. The sights, beautiful rose smells, and sweet birds chirping make this one of the best gardens I have been to in the DFW area and it s FREE!

Perfect place to spend the summer afternoon in a picnic or enjoying a stroll through the rose beds if they still havent withered under this Texas sun. Its still the perfect place for a small picnic or outdoor outing with friends or family. You can walk around in the green areas without none bothering you. Its a green space from which to appreciate nature like ducks, fish and lizards. Toilets: The restrooms over all are well maintained and kept clean by the custodians. They have the common amenities.
