We just had Universal Billards deliver a brand new ping pong table, dart board, and service our shuffleboard. Thor and Frodo were very knowledgeable about all the products. They arrived on time, were very professional and were able to answer all of our questions about all three products. These two gentlemen are rock stars. Just had my table installed this morning. Purchase was a breeze Greg was very knowledgeable and accommodating considering they held my table for almost a month until I closed on my house. My wife and I started looking for a pool table earlier this year to entertain guests when they come over to our house. Since the room we planned on putting the table in does not fit a full-size and would barely fit a 7ft pool table, we decided to look for a 6ft pool table. To make matters even more complicated, we also preferred a pool table that could convert into a dining table. After weeks of searching for one within our price range, we decided to pause our search... but thats when Universal Billiards came to our rescue. Greg Sweeney specifically was terrific. He went on a crusade to find a pool table that met all of the conditions we looked for, and somehow he found one. It was a 6ft dining pool table made by A.E. Schmidt that was still being road-showed and was not even listed on the website yet. Greg even graciously gave us a discount since the table was just a hair outside of the price range we were looking to stay within. A few months later, we have our pool table and it looks even better than we imagined. Trey and Casey came early on delivery day, and finished early too. They were both very professional, and I didnt even have to lift a finger. I just kept my kids out of their way, and before I knew it they were done. At first, I was a little reluctant to buy a pool table since theyre so expensive, but now that the process is all over, I could not be more pleased with our purchase. This table is built to last, and well be playing with our friends in the near future and our kids will be playing with their friends years down the road. Buying from Universal Billiards was a great experience from start to finish, and if youre in the market for a pool table, you should definitely reach out!

The whole process was smooth, fun, and easy. We now have a great Pool Table. Greg in the showroom escorted us showing different styles. He was personable, professional, and listened to our questions and concerns. He guided us to narrow our search.And Moose and Hopper delivering and setting it up. They were very prompt. I recently bought a Legacy pool table through Universal Billiards. I rarely write reviews, but these guys deserve one because the entire experience couldnt have been improved upon. I purchased through their Farmers Branch location and worked with Andrew. Initially went in about 10 minutes before they closed because that was the earliest I could get there before work. He was kind enough to stay late and advise me on tables, felts, various options, etc. About a week later I pulled the trigger and ordered it. It was around the holidays so they had to get it from the manufacturer which took about 4 weeks- completely understandable. Once it came in, I worked with Andrew and Greg to schedule the delivery and install. I live in a condo building on the 7th floor, and have a bit of a tight staircase to maneuver, but I got them all the details and they said it wouldnt be a problem. On the day of the delivery, Trey and Casey were my install team. Consummate professionals. Apparently this table was a tough one to assemble, but these two knocked it out in a few hours. To the owners- give these guys bonuses! Small family owned businesses are all too often a dying breed. But there will always be room for the level of direct, friendly, and prompt service exhibited by the folks at Universal. Theyve certainly earned a customer for life in me!

If you need table repairs in DFW, Universal Billiards are the folks for the job. At Rodeo Bar, we have an antique wooden table which can be difficult to maintain. Greg & Patrick did an excellent job resurfacing and leveling our table. It looks brand new!

Just wanted to say what an awesome team you have at Universal Billiards. Nicole took great care of me during the sales process and made sure I had every question answered before I made my purchase. You even stored my table for me for a couple of months until my project was fully complete and ready for the install which was greatly appreciated. When it came time for installation Thor and Giraffe killed it. They gave me notice the day before my scheduled delivery and then followed up with me the day of to drill down their exact time of arrival. When they arrived the were completely professional and courteous and got straight to work. They answered all of my questions and gave me instructions on how to care for my table. I recently purchased a pool table with a dining top form Universal Billiards/Odd Bosco. Firstly, the sales rep Nicole was extremely helpful, and during multiple visits answered a thousand different questions that I had and was very patient. From browsing to checkout, she guided me through the entire process and if I needed follow-up on an issue, she kept her word and followed through with me. She made it very painless. Brian assisted me with scheduling the delivery and was very accommodating. I needed to change the delivery date 2-3 times and each time, it was a seamless experience. When it came time for delivery, Trey and Greg performed the installation. They were punctual, professional and were courteous and friendly. They did a great job explaining things and worked efficiently. They broke down how to care for my table and took time to teach how the table was being put together. They were great! Fantastic experience from start to finish. In the front of house, Nicole helped me over several visits choose a pool table that fit my exact specifications. She was very knowledgeable about the game, how to fit your room size, and the products themselves. Also the products are locally sourced & manufactured. She even called me as soon as the table I was viewing online arrived at the show room. Not to be out done, the install team was fantastic also. They came with pre-constructed pieces and were able to complete install in a very efficient manner. It started with a curiosity phone call answered by a very knowledgeable man named Ryan. A few months later my husband and I walked into the location about 30 minutes before closing time. After a brief conversation, Ryan remembered this phone call from a few months earlier and picked it up like it was the same day. We were never rushed or made to feel like we were keeping him past closing time. He answered all questions we had, gave his input on design ideas while leaving the final decision to us and checked on build times so that we were aware of when we would have our tables. When delivery day came we were kept in the loop as to when they would be here, how long they planned to be here and received a 15 minutes out phone call. 3 very polite guys; Tarzan, Pebbles and Thor showed up and explained every step of what they were doing. My curious husband watched the entire build and asked a ton of questions. He said he was never made to feel like he was a burden to them. They were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Tarzan seemed to be smiling the entire time he was working. There was a small damaged area on the pool table rails that we would probably not have noticed for a very long time. Tarzan pointed it out and explained how they were going to make it right. Another employee, Hopper, drove an hour to bring out new rails and the table was perfect before they left. These guys cleaned up and left my place better than what they found it. Honest, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and we have a beautiful pool table and shuffleboard table.

UB has been great from start to middle. I say that due to Shuffleboard still in process of being built. But it all Started with Cooper. We spent a couple hours with Cooper on what all we wanted and he was so patient. I wanted a pool table with a shuffleboard table too. My Pool table was delivered and it is absolutely awesome. The look is above and beyond what I expected. Due to it needing to be built there was no way to say exactly what the finished product would look like. Patrick and Bryan came out and set it up. They answered all my questions and both worked hard in making sure I put it in the right spot. I bet we walked around it a 100 times making sure it had all the clearance needed. They finished and I was so impressed with all the suggestions Cooper had and Bryan and Patrick s final setup. Great communication through out. Absolutely the best decision I could make. So looking forward to my Shuffleboard coming soon.

If you are in the market for a pool table I can not recommend these guys enough. They are very knowledgeable of their products and not pushy AT ALL. The purchase process was quick and easy and they were not salesy in any way, which made it feel like it wasn t just another transaction for them. We walked in to the Dallas showroom after visiting Nebraska Furniture Mart to look at game tables. We were expecting the prices to be much higher and were pleasantly surprised when we found exactly what we were looking for, everything was great quality and had a LOWER PRICE! Bought a used table they said was in great shape. They installed it and after a few years I moved and started taking the table apart to find that one of the side pieces was gorilla glued and L bracketed together. You just couldnt see it while the table was together. Very shady company. Then they ignored my complaints. Go somewhere else for quality

I am one of the firefighters at Station 43 in Dallas. Universal Billiards really outdid themselves and we cant thank them enough. They found out we had an old pool table (probably 20+ years old), and needed it moved to a back room at the station. We contacted them for advice, they showed up with a crew, and advised us that the table needed a lot more work than we knew. They carted off the table, and returned it a week later looking BRAND new. New felt, new bumpers, a full overhaul. They did an outstanding job relocating the table. This company has really impressed us, both in terms of their professionalism, and their desire to serve the community. Upon my return to the station, I then discovered they had donated a ping pong table top for our firefighters to use. Its clear this company is build on solid principles, and their service and craftsmanship reflects this. Thanks guys, youre always welcome for dinner at Station 43!

I used Universal to pick up a table I found on Craigslist, store it for a month, re-felt and re-cushion, and then deliver to my newly-constructed home. From the quotation to the final cleanup, everything was top-notch. Prior to committing to buy the table, I visited their Plano/Frisco store and received a lot of good information on what to look for when inspecting a used table. I then had Universal quote the job(s) and they took it from there. Communication was very good. They did surprise me the day of delivery with a felt change as they did not have the felt I requested in stock. This worked out OK as Im happy with the substitute. The delivery was well-executed - Patrick and his assistant (Cody?) were very professional and conscientious at all times.

The staff, (Conner), was very helpful, from the minute I called to schedule to the completed setup of table. I had to reschedule my initial time due to complications of processing a home loan. We bought a beautiful pool table at an incredible price! Connor sold us the table in the Farmers Branch location. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us pick out just the right table for our home and it fits in beautifully. We live down in The Woodlands and Connor and Patrick delivered it. I purchased a Legacy-Ryan pool table for my husband for Fathers Day and had it delivered three weeks ago. My experience was OUTSTANDING from start to finish. I showed up at the showroom 10 minutes before close on a Sunday, but Connor assured me that I should take my time and he proved that by answering countless questions. I had previously visited a billiard store further north on i-35 and found the prices and level of service to be vastly superior at Universal Billiards. The delivery guys were no exception. We have wanted to get a pool table for some time. We went to Universal Billiards two weeks ago and Daniel was very patient while my husband and I went back and forth in indecision. We decided to get one and went back on Monday due to traffic we got there after they closed Daniel saw us and opened up for us (very rare now a days). I wanted to take a second to spread the word about Universal Billiards. Ill start by saying that I am not affiliated with the company or anyone there in any way. I preface with this because I often wonder if the reviews Im reading are from unbiased third parties. I am purely a customer, and a customer with high expectations when making an expensive luxury item purchase like this. My wife and I shopped for months before deciding on the Legacy brand table at Universal. We went with an 8ft port finish with the tournament olive felt. The wood on wood construction was really the tipping point for us. Although the name is not as recognizable as some, this is a well built table and it looks and plays great! I really wanted to go all out and buy the Scottsdale, but have been pleasantly surprised by the value for my money that the Legacy gave us. We hit a minor bump in the road with the felt. There was a flaw on the fabric and the corners were frayed a little bit. I called and addressed my issues with Daniel (GM) at the Dallas location and he went out of his way to offer resolution and address the problem as quickly as possible. They offered to replace the felt for me at no charge. What was an even more pleasant surprise, and what I didnt find out until it they were gone, is that the owner came out personally and did the work! I have worked in retail management in the past and owned a small business for some time, so I truly appreciate this kind of service. He was a great guy and as friendly as they come! I like to support small businesses whenever possible and this kind of service drives home why. Its hard to find service like this these days, but it still exists here and there.
