Took the dogs on a BEAUTIFUL walk. We saw all sorts of wild life, native plants (with labels- if youre a nerd like me), and butterfly gardens. There are several trails to choose from. Also, not super crowded.

The only reason I ve not given it 5 stars is for the lack of RR however, it s a great playground which is well maintained without any broken equipment. There are trail access points all around which lead to the arroyo park and mckelvey. Overall a great park. Playground: Clean, well maintained and all equipment functions. Some of it appears to be wheelchair accessible, but if special needs are your priority Pendleton, Victor and Lon C Hill park appear far more inclusive. Toilets: No restrooms. Dog-friendliness: Open areas for pets with a pet station which features bags and a trash can. Picnic area: A large picnic table easily seats 8, snuggly seats 10 is covered as well.

These apparatice were great for my little guy. The astroturf is appreciated. Wonder how long the Easter confetti will be around. The pavilion and flat grass space for playing games was safe. The kids could run easily.

Arroyo Colorado Trail · 1.8 mi is a very nice bike trail that originates here and follows the irrigation stream under a few bridges to Mc Kelvy park near HEB and the Elks. Nice for walking, running or biking. It is about a 30 minute ride both ways. Playground: Playground stuff for kids at both parks. Some adult workout equipment at McKelvy Toilets: Restrooms at McKelvey and extensive parking. Street parking at CB Wood. Dog-friendliness: No signage about dogs. Picnic area: Shelters and picnic tables at both parks.

My favorite park to warm up and power walk. The trail is usually empty now a days, but still best area to just get into ur zone and focus without being crowded. Its peaceful and its better than any treadmill.

Great! Its purpose serves as what it is.. A park! Now reason why i love this park is because the jungle gym was very well upgraded. Even at my age i still love the park. Im sure the kids will love it even more. Plus you can have a barbeque there. Park comes with a nice lil pavilion for shade. What i like about the park is that its very well hidden and ALSO leads to a trail so u can enjoy a nice nature walk. Parkings limited tho. Very small parking.
