Had my daughters Quinciañera party the March 16th. Very grateful for the amazing services, from the kitchen staff (delicious food) super friendly and attended, they did everything for us.DJ. played nice music, never let the dance floor empty. Party bus in time. Delicious and beautiful cake. Security guard doing a great job too. The vaniue was super clean and elegant. Planty of restrooms. Specious VIP room. Overall fair price for all services. Our guest were happy. I appreciate every single one of the employees that provided all these services to us. I AM HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

My daughters 15th birthday came out Jenial!! On November 4, 2023 The service from the workers was super!! Everything was very nice, the living room looked very nice and elegant, Thank you very much!!:) the DJ was very friendly with us and Mrs. Nancy was very kind, thank you for her good work.

My name is Nancy Lugo and I am one of the managers of Alcatraces Ballroom. I was the person in charge of attending the Mr & Mrs Morales event this past December. And I would like to respond to such a regrettable review that they left 5 days ago. 1. As they mention, their meal was for 200 people where they additionally brought fried chicken and pizzas. When he began to serve all his guests, they were given the option of putting chicken and pizza on their plate, but it was impossible to put them all since many did not want to. Likewise, the food we had at their event was so much that it was impossible to serve it all. Everything you brought and what the salon offered was served but it still remained. As with every event, I talk to clients 1 month before their event and I told them that the room would be open at 6 and we would serve dinner at 7 and you agreed since you have a copy of the notes that I I do with you. 2. During the event we offer fresh water, water and soda. The waters are only 3 jugs, they are not to be served all night, they are only for dinner. And regarding the fact that we do not serve soda, it was impossible to only serve water, since at your event you decided not to serve beer. 3. You brought a coffee and bread station, where we helped you prepare the coffee and put all the desserts you brought and several times we had to refill the table. The desserts that you brought were too many so thats why they stayed. Regarding the fact that we only serve 1 per person, it is impossible because in our rooms we do not even serve a candy bar, much less coffee stations, so each of your guests grabbed everything they wanted and many of them even grabbed to-go. 4. By the time they broke the cake, many guests had already left, and due to the dinner, platter, and desserts, by the time we distributed the cake, many people did not want it. At each of our events the client can set up their desserts or candy bar at any time they like because they bring it, so they cant say that we dont let them set up their coffee station. 5. Your dad was the person responsible for making all the decisions about your event, a super kind person who treated us super well. Your event ended at 11:30 because your dad decided to end the event. 6.Referring that I was very controlling, it is impossible, since you meet with the DJ the same week of the event and you agree with him so that he directs your event as you like, I have no control over that, we We manage the schedules as you decide. Im very sorry to hear all of this 1 and a half months after your event, but I can say that we were there to help you with everything you needed.

Really bad service. We were promised all these things and in the end most of the services were not up to standard. You have to contact the cake lady to tell her what you want but she has horrible customer service. She doesnt answer your calls or texts and doesnt do just any cake design like the contract promises. Shes under Mi Rinconcito Cakes on Facebook. I kept showing her cakes i wanted and she would leave me on read. When i called she told me she never saw my texts or messages because it was always the excuse her son was on her phone. For the design of the cake i wanted she said she couldnt do it because she didnt have all the materials. The wedding was over a month away.. you have time to buy it?? The contract clearly says Cake design any style. I think she just said that because she couldnt decorate it, it was extravagant i will admit. If thats the case they should not say any style if they are limited. We had no idea of what we could get for a menu for the wedding as we were told at first we have to wait to find out till 1 month before because they go based off whats on special at the store. I couldnt contact the cake lady or show what I wanted till 1 month before as well.So i went months not knowing many details. I trusted in them to take care of everything and in the end i as the bride was very disappointed and my friends and family were not happy. We ordered 200 plates from the catering company along with extra boxes of pizza and fried chicken that we paid with our own money and the manager and servers were not giving it to my guests. I also took desserts that i made to go along with the chocolate fountain that we were promised with fresh fruit, and all the fruit ran out after a few minutes in line, so most of the guests didnt get any. Good thing there was plenty of extra desserts that me and my mom provided but the staff still wouldnt give it all away. We brought back most of the desserts we had made because they were only giving one little piece to everyone when we had made plenty. They also lied and said my event was from 6-1 am and i had put on the invitations dinner was at 6 and not till two days before i was told dinner was at 7. Everyone got there at 5:30!! They were hoping to eat at 6 like the invite said. How embarrassing, the staff didnt even offer them drinks so they sat there an hour and a half with nothing to eat or drink. The dj told me the food got there earlier so we could eat at 6:30 but then the manager said no at 7. It was horrible lack of communication. I as the bride wasnt considered and they would only listen to my husband. We ran out of Aguas Frescas, and we were told there would be water and soda available all night when there wasnt, only water. Me and my husband wanted to cut the cake and then serve it but no one brought us plates or forks or knives, so we had to use our hands. And not all my guests got cake. It was a 4 tier cake and 200 people at the wedding but i brought back more than half the cake? My grandpa complained he never got cake. The servers did not pass it around to everyone like they were supposed to. Ridiculous. I even took my own coffee pots and coffee station to offer the guests coffee when they arrive since its cold outside and the manager did not let me until AFTER dinner. Everything i provided myself they still took control of! I tried hard to not be a bridezilla or let them ruin my day but i couldnt help but feel embarrassed and disappointed. The robot performers on stilts were suppossed to arrive when the dance started and offer balloons didnt do that. Only one arrived and halfway through the end of the night and with no balloons. And he only performed/danced for 30 minutes then left. And thats what i was looking forward to the most. Only positive thing was the dj was very nice and considerate, but even he didnt have control because the manager was too bossy and controlling. The dj also played great music and everyone just about danced. But overall Dont book here, you dont know details until after you pay.

Rude and sarcastic guy on the phone and WAY too pricey, I asked how much the hall would cost without them providing food or DJ to hopefully bring the price down from $5500, and when i asked this he asked me what kind of party is that after explaining i have planned and helped plan many parties before, i was planning on providing food from a catering company & i know plenty of DJs, he said this is your first time doing this right? Extremely unhelpful and wayy too pricey.

I just had my daughters XV here it was wonderful. The staff was very courteous and helpful they were on top of everything. Like to give a big thank you to all of them. The food was great. I would recommend this ballroom to everyone for any occasion.

The place is very nice. The food is good, it tastes good. The people who serve it are annoying and do not serve you well, they act as if you are ordering the food for free and that is not the case, they are guests and they must serve with pleasure and a smile, if they do not like their job, they should look for something else to do. . DJ Cristian, very nice and friendly, plays the music that the hostess requests and it is a good atmosphere.

Sadly the crew was very rude Dj was excellent must admit he was nice and communicated with us food somehow ran out cake was not as we expected ( the decorating on it ) & also ran out supposedly. Also a major major disappointment with the photographer , long story short I took better pictures and videos with my phone & he charged me extra for additional services which were very bad performed

This hall was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. They tried to shut down our event multiple times and rudely kicked us out when it ended. The food was not good. To top it off the floor was very uneven, it made the tables wiggle and made the entire eating experience more unpleasant. The DJ was awful as well. He kept playing music that no one enjoyed and kept playing it, even though no one was on the dance floor. His request list was 5 songs long at max and didn t play one. I would never recommend this hall to anyone. Please keep looking.

The workers dont have any hospitality, the owner was disrespectful, the food was served cold and was very distasteful. The bathroom were a complete mess and were under stocked. Not allowed to do anything with out them being on your back, definitely have to walk on egg shell during your own event. Really try looking at other banquet halls before considering this one. If I am able to give 0 stars I would, worst experience Ive had.

I didnt like at all this party hall its a mess. And to scrub it, Ayis floor is bad. You walk there on the floor and theres a part where you think its going to hit the mother until you feel like the floor is going to go down, a lot of space, uufff, no, the DJ didnt play the music well, I dont know if its part of the living room or not. but he is the worst DJ I have ever heard here in El Paso. And if the bathrooms ufff it goes without saying.

I attended a family reunion here at this hall, and walking in it seemed as though the huge investment would be worth it. BUT that quickly changed once the staff at the hall tried doing anything and everything to shut the reunion down without any reason. There were several moments where we witnessed the staff, security and the other officer on duty eat the food and candy we purchased, without a care in the world. Please dont waste your time or money on such a poorly operated party hall.

This is hands down the WORST and UNPROFESSIONAL Party Hall in El Paso. Not only was food HORRIBLE but the staff were UNPOLISHED and DISRESPECTFUL. The Restrooms were under stocked. The hall is nice, the photographer is horrible and unprofessional. Pictures are done half-ass and video is a joke. They offer all these extras and dont follow through. Every business can have a flaw here or there but the worst part is that they dont even acknowledge the issue nor make an effort to resolve the issue. Instead they make up stories that are irrelevant to the situation and hang up on you.
