Over rated. Food came out cold. Ribs had absolutely no flavor to them. It s like they boiled them and slapped sauce all over it. A good rib doesn t need sauce. The sides weren t that great either. The Mac and cheese was just noodles smothered in velveeta. Also the sausage was grounded up too fine. Tasted like a hot dog. Where s the flavor? Where s the seasoning? And where s the pit? The smoker? Not for me.

My husband and I ate at the one on Montana Drive. He got a giant baked potato, and I got the half slab of pork ribs. We got the loaded nachos with brisket added to it. It was so delicious. Staff and servers were very friendly and efficient.

Recently been to this place, and inside it was not as dirty as the other customers have described. Ordered half slab of baby back ribs, the ribs are rubbed with honey BBQ sauce and the crust came out nicely. It can be too sweet for someone who likes their ribs dry. Bites size appetizer of brisket, beef rib, and sausage is okay. The brisket is too lean and dry. They all need some sauce! Id recommend against getting this dish and instead get yourself items from the combo menu. Lastly, we ordered a single beef rib at 7.99, which is fairly priced. Its not like what we had in Dallas but still better than the rib bites in the appetizer. Their curly fries and coleslaw are both decent. I highly recommend trying their hot sauces - they have a kick! Overall, its a good place if you crave for bbq when in El Paso. However, its not comparable to the BBQ in cities like DFW or Austin.

$ Food was great! Flavors were there. Ribs were cooked to perfect. Fries were super crispy & seasoned well. Coleslaw was great & had pieces of pineapple, yum. Everything was great until I went to wash my hands in the bathroom... Dundundun.... Ewe. It was early in the day to not have hand soap and the toilet & sink were nasty too. Maybe wipe the mirror it might help a little bit. For the one restroom in the place makes you wonder if the employees wash their hands. Hopefully the kitchen is cleaned at night cause the restrooms arent. Eek

I was in town for work and promised to bring BBQ back to my husband in Oregon. I walked here from downtown and by the time I arrived I was dying from the heat and sweating, the owner was actually there and offered me a huge cup of iced water while I waited for my to go order to be ready. They were so friendly and even gave me a whole cup of bbq sauce which I ended up transferring to a Tupperware to take home. They also gave me two servings of beans even though I only ordered one, not sure they were being generous or it was an accident but they were delicious. The portions were huge and worth every penny and my husband says it s the best BBQ he s ever had (even a day old). Thank you for your hospitality!

We went on 5/25/24 at about 3:00ish. It was our first time, since spme of our friends had recommended it. We ordered the combo platter and a burger (so we could try different items). It took the server a long time to come take our order. After our order arrived, the burger was medium rare instead of medium well (as we had ordered it. The combo was all over the place, the ribs were burned and dry, the brisket was good, the mac and cheese was very dry and looked like they had scraped it out of the bottom of the pan and the roll was dry. The server came and brought our food but didnt return. we had to ask another server to bring us boxes and she said she would tell out server, but he still didnt come. I had to get up and ask the person who was in the front to give me the boxes. He asked who my server was, I let him know. As we were putting our leftovers in the to go boxes, came the server to bring us our check! Never did he bother to see if our order was correct, refill our drinks, or ask if we needed anything. Bad service, at least on this day, it was.

Very very very upset, just left rib hut and my order was wrong , I m Upset because as I had my gf order our meal , the person taking the order was rushing as if he knew exactly what we were saying. Get home to find out all my 3 sliders were the same and I specifically asked for all different types. This is crazy I drove 30-40 mins for the food and to get home to it all wrong. Sat for a long time, about 25 minutes, before flagging someone down, just to get water. The waiter had no idea who was tending to our table. We had a party of 5, and our meals came out 1 at a time. I actually got my dinner salad after my dinner came. Very unorganized and not well managed. Parking: Very small parking lot, we parked on the street and had to pay the parking meters. That was about 2 blocks away, as close as we could find.

Owner is very rude. Also tried to force a disabled veteran (with handicapped plates) to move out of the designated handicapped spot infront of his business. Would never eat here or visit this business. The business is 20 feet from another business (Thai food) and a VERY small parking lot shared between both businesses. Only ONE handicapped parking spot is available in that parking lot. I displayed ISA logo. Native of El Paso. Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn t display disabled access per state code. How have I lived in El Paso for over 30 years and never eaten here? The good: Excellent food! A little on the pricey side, but you get your monies worth. I got the full rack of baby-backs. They were so huge it took me 3 days to finish them. So delicious! The bad: Our waitress was seriously lacking. Got our beers 10 minutes after our food. Then had to wait another 5 minutes for her to open them. (Non twist off caps) At least she was friendly. Regardless! Ill be back often.

I loved the **slow smoked ribs** and the **Rib Hut sauce** at Rib Hut. They were tender, juicy, and flavorful. The **sausage platter** and the **1/2 slab baby back ribs** were also great choices for a hearty meal. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. When in Texas you have to eat some bbq. Overall we had a decent experience dining here. The building however is so small it makes large parties a pain even if you call ahead of time. Also there is barely any room to wait to be seated inside the restaurant. It is a very cramped space. The food was good I wish they had baby back ribs and different bbq sauce options like other bbq restaurants, but we can t have it all. I ordered 2 beef, 2 spare , toreado Mac, brisket and fries. The ribs were good, very large portions. The torreado Mac was advertised as spicy, but not spicy in the slightest. I didn t get a chance to try the French fries because they never came, but our server David accommodated me for it. My issue really came when it was time to pay, our server was all over the place. He brought out the checks then disappeared to help another table. Then after a few minutes of everyone gathering their payments he returned and started to process payments. He did 1 person out of 7 then left again to help other tables. Came back after a few minutes processed another 2 payments, then left again and continually repeating this process. Helping 1 or 2 of us at a time then leaving for 5-10 minutes. So just to pay to well over 30 minutes. I get it s busy but take care of the customers trying to pay and leave before you help everyone else. Get the new table some drinks, then get our bills taken care of then do the rest. Very inconvenient to make a party who already ate wait 30 minutes just for checkout process. If you are that busy ask a manager or someone in the back for help just taking care of the tabs. I ve had better bbq, but it was still good and still worth a try if you are in the area. Try the big baked potatoes it is a whole meal by itself. Be prepared to EAT cause they give you nice sized portions for the price you pay. Parking: Very limited number of spaces available in the parking lot outside the restaurant. Especially during peak hours. Wheelchair accessibility: It is all on the ground level, but the restaurant is very cramped it might be hard to maneuver around in a wheelchair.

Went for the first time friday night, our server was not good. She kept walking past our table and didn t take my drink order until 10 minutes in. Then I didn t like the cheese sticks so I asked her if i could switch it for something else and she told us no because we had already eaten some we(between my boyfriend and I had only eaten ONE). I cant comment on the atmosphere or service of the team because I ordered Rib Hut via Doordash, but I can comment on the food. I ordered the Billy Burger (mac n cheese & bacon) and Sweet Potato Fries. What arrived was a Billy Burger and a side of mac n cheese, so that was a bit of a bummer. However, the burger and the mac n cheese were really good. The Burger was HUGE, too big actually to eat without making a whole mess. The vegetables were fresh, the burger was fresh, and the side of mac was good despite not being what I had ordered. Overall, Id say this was a good take out option for the area.

The primary reason we ate here is because they were open. We had tried two other local BBQ restaurants near the NMSU campus before finding Rib Hut. The restaurant is tiny, and the parking lot is even smaller. The interior is dark due to tiny windows and marginal lighting, but what could be seen was fun. The serving sizes were huge. I ordered the half serving of brisket, and my wife ordered a half slab of baby back ribs. Both looked more like full servings, and the sides were equally large. My brisket tasted more like roast beef, but was good enough. My wife loved her ribs.

This is the first BBQ spot Ive been to in El Paso, not too shabby. I loved the Mac & cheese and the coleslaw, I enjoyed them more than the brisket and beef rib. The brisket didnt pass the eye test, looked a little dry, but still tasted OK. The beef rib was decent and the BBQ sauce was not impressive. The service was great, our waiter was pleasant and attentive. I enjoyed the sports-bar-like atmosphere overall, just would like more spacious seating. Decent experience overall.

Great ribs. Awesome burgers. Big tasty nachos. Everything taste home made. The service is always welcoming with happy additude. Ive tried about everything on the menu and could not complain about anything. The only problem I have going here is not knowing what to order because I want to eat everything!! Vegetarian options: They have good veggie option. Im not veg8 but I still loved the veggie option. Kid-friendliness: Awesome kids many my kids favorite place to eat when going out. For a place that is barbecue you would think it s good. I got the brisket platter with two sides and never got my sides. The meat was very fatty and had no flavor. My husband got a burger with fries and onion rings. The onion rings were good but the fries were cold and soggy. The burger also had no flavor. They also mixed up our order with someone else s and we ended up paying for someone s else s order and they paid for our order.. sad excuse for a BBQ place won t be going back again.. definitely not worth the money.
