Literally obsessed. I m visiting Las Cruces, NM for the summer and the vegan food is almost non existent. El Paso has a few more options, but after my favorite (OneGrub) closed, I found Piedmont Cafe on Google and thought I d try it out. There is a mix of vegan and non-vegan options, and everything was amazing! My only gripe is that they were out of some desserts, otherwise we would have had one of each. Our server was so sweet and helpful .. I didn t get her name, but she was absolutely lovely. We ordered the nachos (they let me replace the Beyond Meat with tofu), migas (my mom tried the non-vegan version and loved them), the vegan coffee cake (omg), and the vegan chocolate chip cookie. Absolutely recommend to anyone!

I stopped in with a group of people. The place is cute. The service was good. The cocktail menu is creative, and the drinks are delicious. They had a lot of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. I tried my food, and bites of otherpeoples... the food was okay. If you are just going in for drinks absolutely 5 stars.

The food is absolutely incredible with tons of vegan options available. After an issue with our wedding venue, we asked Joey, the owner, to host our reception only a few days in advance. Not only did he reserve space, decorate, and stay late, but the service and food was loved by the whole party!

Ive ate in different parts of the World and this is by far one of the worst experiences Ive had, as far as taste goes, I mean, how do you get a burger wrong?

We came to eat here for a friend s birthday, and this place is AMAZING! The service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can t believe how many vegan options there were! I had the Thai Fried Rice with seitan. It had so much flavor! I think this has become one of my favorite spots in EP. We will definitely be back!

First time here and honestly I have mixed feelings about the place! Servers were courteous but lack serving skills. And they were short staffed. Place was full for lunch and then I realized they close at 3pm which means their peak hours are lunch. Place decorations and settings were plain/ eclectic style but I liked they have cloth napkins! That s a plus. The food was delicious! It took a good hour for it to come through but taste was really good! We had some pistachio cake which wasn t bad, it was fluffy and light and now thinking about it I think it would pair well with ice cream. So having said that, will I come back ? Doubt it, maybe for takeout. Service is key to have a good experience and hopefully they will take note of it!

Piedmont offers everything for an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, both indoors and on their patio. The staff, including servers and bartenders, are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. Dealing with my gluten allergy, they went above and beyond to ensure the safety of my food. The menu clearly marks gluten-free options, and the food is not only safe but also delicious. Without a doubt, Piedmont has become one of my favorite spots in El Paso. Wow! Dietary restrictions: They have clearly marked gluten-free options :) and the staff is very knowledgeable about how to handle food to ensure it s safe for those with food allergies or sensitivities.

Damn good vegan food, full of flavor! Tried their tofu scramble breakfast plate with their soup of the day. Decent portions. Their vegan nacho cheese is made in house and is so delicious ! They have an alcoholic drink menu which also seems good. Their coffee is from picacho coffee which is super yummy. Good service.

The food here is good and the drinks are ok. The service is also pretty good. We sat outside on our first visit. The weather was perfect for it. If you do have dogs on the patio they have water bowls for them. We ordered the Philly cheese steak w/fries and the stuffed/smoothered biscuits. We requested the vegan version and wasnt disappointed. Piedmont Cafe I recently visited this restaurant excited to try out their highly recommended dishes, and I must say, the food didnt disappoint! Every dish I ordered was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. The culinary aspect of my experience was truly exceptional. However, what prevents me from giving this place a full five-star rating is the service. Although the staff was generally courteous and attentive, I cant overlook the unprofessional behavior of the lady in charge. Her attitude was off-putting and negatively impacted the overall dining experience. Instead of making us feel welcomed, it felt as though she was deliberate in her unwelcoming demeanor. It is truly disheartening when such delicious cuisine is tainted by a lackluster service experience. I truly hope the management will take my feedback into consideration and work on improving their customer service skills, ensuring future diners have a well-rounded experience. In conclusion, while I highly recommend the food, be prepared for the possibility of an uncomfortable interaction with the lady in charge.

After receiving my review Piedmont restaurant did exactly what any amateur hobbyist would do. They refused me service. Unfortunately, they didnt choose to take my comments into consideration in an effort to improve service like any other professional restauranteer would have done. Nor did they respond or contact me to clearify. They didnt concentrate on the positive aspects of my review. Rather, Piedmont chose to show their true colors...... They threw me out........very professional! So much for seeking feedback to improve as these reviews are intended. So much for freedom of speech! Their actions are simply more evidence of their amateurish efforts to successfully run a business. Im not a huge influencer with tens of thousands of followers. Far from it. Im simply a customer that is unhappy with this business. The sad part is that only 12 people had read my review. Shows you how interested the public is in the Piedmont restaurant doesnt it. This is my original review: This restaurant is more of a hobby than an actual business. Exactly what youd expect from a former bartender. Restaurant Rescue please save Piedmont!! TL;DR: food is awesome service is trash. Ive been here twice and the food is always delicious. So far its my favorite red pozole in El Paso, but the service has consistently left something to be desired. The first time the staff barely attended to us (one water refill and waiting 10 min after we finished our food for the bill). This time we sat at the bar and received more responsive service, but we were also within earshot of the staff chatting. Rude is the kindest word to describe what we heard at the bar and how we were treated when we walked in.

Not a fan. Maybe we got the cooks on an off day, but everything we had was really poorly prepared. The lemonade was all lemons. The nachos had way too many big chunks of pickled vegetables and nothing else to balance them. The migas were burnt and the egg that came with them wasn t scrambled but fried and burnt, too. Same thing with the biscuit sandwich. The bread was burned and the egg was way over cooked. It seems like a lot of people like this place but my partner and I had a disappointing experience.

Overpriced. Overrated. Found the flagship dish pad Thai without much depth of flavor, just grease, noodles, with the only good part being the crispy tofu. I recommend this place because they have excellent customer service! We showed up unexpectedly with 14 people without a reservation and they accommodated us without hesitation. Today was my first time going, being saving it on my to go list for a while and finally had time to go. It was 2:30 and restaurant hours said they close at 3:00. I work in the industry and I know well not to go to restaurants with this time frame.. but I was conscious about it and just wanted to eat quickly and leave.. we entered and a lady told us to seat wherever we wanted to. We did and waited about 10 minutes until she came and gave us menu s and asked if we wanted water.. 10 more minutes and no one came servers came and go but nothing, not a I ll be right back, nothing. It was as if we weren t even there.. honestly the menu items looked very good but service was awful I mean we didn t got any service.. we decided to leave and someone at the bar told us thank you as we left.. the lady that told us to seat wherever and gave us menu s was there; she seems like she was the one In charge of the place but she didn t do anything. They just didn t care.. If they don t feel like giving service to someone because they are 30 minutes from closing they could ve just told us and that s that.. never going back.

my family & i love coming here but lately the service has been a hit or miss. we try to keep it to takeout but sometimes the portions differ. today it took about 18 minutes to have our order taken. we were so close to walking out and looking back at it we should have just done so. our server never checked up on us until the end when we looked about ready to pay. i wish i asked the other nice blonde server to help us instead. i don t usually leave bad tips but i should have left none at all. service really ruined it for us and we wont be back for a while.

Tried this gem of a place a couple of days ago. Drinks hit the spot. Tried the bicycle bowl (which came on a plate :/) and it was super oversalted, I mean to the point where my tongue went kind of numb. Idea is totally there, Im sure its good, but I just couldnt taste anything over the salt. Server was a moody young lady. Good parking. Nice outdoor patio, looks pet-friendly too. I absolutely love coming to work in El Paso just to come here and eat. The haricot verts are amazing! And they always have a housemade jam thats off the chain. Kudos to the chef! Is there no other vegan food in El Paso? This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we ve had across nearly every state in the US. Bad: - Mold on fruit. Blueberries were probably good last week sometime. See photo. - Filthy chess set on our table. Food stuck to the board. - Dirty / neglected bathrooms with pieces of the restroom literally falling apart - Some of the worst batch brew coffee we ve ever had. Tastes like the second or third time the grounds have been used. Diluted. Neutral: - Loud repetitive trance / techno music. Just not our taste. - 50 cents to turn any hot drink to an iced version? Confusing but maybe there s a reason. I have been coming to eat here for over 2 years now and there is many things that keep me coming back. First off the food is very inclusive of any diet or lifestyle. I eat vegan, but there are plenty of options for the meat eaters in your family. The bang bang broccoli is an awesome starter, and the vegan burgers are always so delicious and juicy. Other than burgers and sandwiches, there is options for those healthy days as well, the bicycle bowl and house made kimchi are some tops for me. The service is always great also, you can really tell that the owners love what they do, and they love to feed people delicious food. All of the servers seem like they enjoy their jobs also and are happy to be there, which is super important. The restaurant is also always super clean, and the playlist is amazing, creating the perfect environment for a date night or a meet up with friends. I also have to mention their pet friendly pooch porch so you can bring your fur babies also.

Had some friends come in town and wanted to try something local that they can t find in their town. This place was absolutely amazing. The food was very flavorful (The chef is a wizard in the kitchen), staff super friendly, and excellent music in the background. Definitely will be back to try everything on the menu. Started off with Shishito Peppers, Hummus sampler, Bicycle Bowl with Pork Belly, finished with Passion Fruit Tres Leches. Ended with a bunch of laughter great times. Eat Happy

In my opinion, one of the best places in town for Vegan food, if not the best. My girlfriend loves this place. The nachos are fantastic, we dont even add a protein. I also enjoy their burgers and the salmon is one of my favorite dishes. Limited beer options, at least on draft, but they have a fantastic cocktail menu. Overall, its a great little place that does everything right.

I ve been there a number of times. I ve had their Pad Thai, Turkey Club, Green Goddess Grilled Cheese, Burgers, Nachos, Bang Bang Broccoli, and a bunch of breakfast items. Vegan or not...EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS!!! The ambiance is good too, great music all the time, good conversation, and also great coffee. Love the art and setup as well. My only complaint are the chairs in the dining area, I need a little more cushion for the amount of time I like to spend there. The restaurant is fairly new so, I m sure that ll be fixed with time. It s a great restaurant overall, come here to impress your family and foodie friends.

The overall vibe and place itself was great, the food was very delicious I went with my friend and I had the avocado seared salad, the reason why I am rating it two stars is the service that was given to us. Our server barely greeted us because she was too busy talking to someone at the bar, we were served water and it took a while for her. To get to our table we ordered the Adobe Nachos for a starter and then it took about another 15 to 20 min for her to take our order, which is fine I was a server for a chunk of my life and she had 3 other tables. Once she took our order she proceeded to forget about our coffee we had ordered because most of the time she was talking again to the person or friend at the bar. We did not get checked on until another 20 minutes after we. Got our food. In that time another two friends walked in whim she attended promptly served them both coffees within 5 minutes and took there order pronto as well. I have worked in this industry and I appreciate that she would tend to her friends and a family as such but it does not excuse her of how bad of customer service we received. It stinks this was my first experience the Food is delicious and it s sucked that it upset me a bit that we were basically ignored.

Had dinner with friends yesterday. Wonderful. I had the guacamole, which was deliciously zesty. Also had the citrus salmon, which was wonderfully cooked. Usually I find salmon massively overcooked in El Paso. This was great. Washed down with a pint of laguinitas and an Italian red. Heard great things about their pad Thai, which I want to try next. My only confusion was the name, which is a wine producing Italian region, so I somehow expected something Italian. Either way, this was great, if not a little minimalistic inside, which is even a pleasant change. The food speaks for itself. Ill be back.
