Amazing find of a restaurant, the food is delicious and the staff is super friendly, the chef even comes out to chat with customers from time to time. Only thing to watch out for is that is a small restaurant, and since the food is delicious, you may end up waiting for a table to free up, but it is well worth the wait

LA Fete Cafe offers exceptional value for the quality of its food. The Baco Avocado Croissant is a standout dish featuring a perfectly toasted croissant filled with crispy bacon, a fried egg, and feta cheese, all harmoniously paired with their flavorful homemade hashbrowns The combination of textures and flavors makes this dish truly delightful. Overall, LA Fete Cafe delivers delicious meals at well-priced rates, making it a must-visit spot for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. Wish I took photos before I cleared my plate. (That just means I gotta go back!) Wheelchair accessibility: Single story, has handicap parking and wheelchair accessibility.

First visit: I had the nutty burger to try something I had not heard of before, it was tasty and thick, but I wouldnt order again. Too many other options for future selection! I asked for the fries to be extra crispy sans salt and they were great! You will need to clarify if they charge per each drink refill. This place is worth revisiting to try all the different entrees, so many great flavors available, especially if you are tired of the same old fare. Its a small but clean hideaway spot thats open earlier than most places.

Food is average. Nothing special. We ordered a variety of plates and they all seemed alright. Atmosphere is good, small place so be prepared to wait sometimes. Reviews guided me here and it was ok. For the more French experience, La Madeleine does it for me. We paid around $120 for three of us. Only extras were the croissant and French toast.

Truly an El Paso hidden gem. Its cuisine, in my opinion, can best be described as soul food fusion. Our fabulous dining experience began with the Parmesan truffle chips. My main entrée consisted of the fried pork belly tacos, perfectly seasoned and included a uniquely delicious spicy sauce. The service was extraordinary, our server was professional, attentive, pleasant, and seemed to care about our dining experience. The newly discovered gem will certainly become a part of my dining rotation. 10 out of 10.

I was in the area and was trying to find somewhere to eat. I looked it up and found this place. It did not disappoint AT ALL. I tried the soul food egg rolls and when I tell you they did NOT disappoint!!! They did not disappoint! I ve never had an egg roll so good. I could have just gotten that and been satisfied. It was a great portion too. I also had the oxtail and Mac n cheese, AMAZING! Nice atmosphere, chill, the people that work there are great. Ezra was my waiter and he was great! He was able to tell me about the different dishes on the menu without hesitation. Over, great experience, do recommend, will go again!

I came for the first time just this past weekend. It was suggested to me by an associate since those that know me well enough understand I m somewhat a Food Connoisseur. I ordered a few things to get an idea of things that peaked my interests. I have no complaints of the food, drinks, establishment nor the staff during my first visit. I most certainly will be making frequent visits to this place of business. I travel much therefore I ve experienced local food joints all over the country. This is most definitely one for the books.

My hubby ordered the bacon avocado croissant with homestyle potatoes and these potatoes are definitely homestyle. The croissant was flaky and the bacon was generous. They had lavender lemonade on our visit and super refreshing. Also they don t play when they say sweet tea, so if you re into sweet tea they won t disappoint. I can t wait to go back and try other menu items! Totally worth the drive.

Im going to kick myself for posting because this place is insanely delicious. My Children Suggested, our first time here, because originally where we were headed had a 2 hour wait. They were so warm & friendly. Cannot tell you how welcomed we felt. Went Sunday morning for Fathers Day-No wait for a party of 8. Ordered 3 Chicken & Waffles all w/honey butter for my 2 sons & Grandson. My youngest grandson had a waffle which he thoroughly enjoyed. The portions were huge! One salmon & avocado toast w/egg, my daughter devoured the entire thing didn t say a word otherwise, she did save me a bite and it s delicious. My Daughter in law & I ordered the Steak skillet and potatoes w/egg. It was a huge serving each and we both took half home. I half heartedly took a picture to ask my other son if he wanted me to order anything. The steak & potatoes were so flavorful and tender had a nice cheese sauce, my eggs were perfect. My husband ordered the Shrimp and grits, now we always share, y all it was so good. We re definitely coming back since that was only brunch, He was so happy. I didn t have to cook and the quality of the food was so good made me happy. Little moments of bliss in a hectic day like this, are precious to me. Also we tried all the flavored Lemonades, they re so refreshing light and delicious. Honestly it was all good.

Absolutely Horrible Service We Walked Out Our experience at La Fete Cafe was a complete disaster from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly, but thats where the service ended. Despite multiple staff members walking past us, not a single person bothered to acknowledge our presence or take our order. We sat there for a full 15 minutes, ignored and frustrated. The cafe wasnt even that busy, so there was absolutely no excuse for the appalling neglect we experienced. We eventually walked out, thoroughly disappointed and disgusted by the total lack of basic customer service. The hostess just said Thank you guys as we passed her, rather than asking why we were leaving. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time and expect even a minimal level of attention from the staff.

Couldnt finish my fish and grits. It was really well done until... (see video) On another note, one shouldnt clear dishes with food still on them and prep to-go orders in the exact same area. I also think that where you trash the excess shouldnt be your sales counter or at the front of the house. I also think that if you are bussin tables bare handed, the least you could do is wash your hands before handling other things like drinks. I cant enjoy the food, that I would normally have to go all the way to Dyer for, if its gonna give me gastrointestinal distress because of hygienic mistakes that can be corrected.

We went to La Fête Cafe on Friday (3/1/24). My husband, two kids, and I decided to try something new that evening. This place did not disappoint!!!! My kids ordered alfredo pasta with chicken, my husband ordered the jerk chicken, and I ordered the La Fête pasta. ALL of it was delicious!!! One of my kids is a bit picky and ate everything off the plate. We rarely take home one takeout box of leftover food. This time, it was half of one small takeout box. The food was that delicious. The drinks! My kids and I had their version of a lemonade .my only word to describe how good it was is INCREDIBLE!!!! My husband had a Stubborn soda. Again, INCREDIBLE!!! The server was knowledgeable AND friendly. We didn t feel the urgency to leave, we didn t feel like it was so busy that you couldn t enjoy the atmosphere. It was simply calming and welcoming. Such a friendly atmosphere. The decor, the food, the portion sizes, the people, and the drinks all made up a wonderful Friday dinner experience. I cannot say enough to express how nice it was to dine in and enjoy time with my family. It s a MUST try in El Paso. This is definitely a hidden gem! I went to have lunch with some friends and ordered a mango chile mimosa, chicken and waffles, and fried pork belly tacos. The mimosa was okay but too small. The chicken and waffles were bland and the chicken was barely cooked except for the edges. The waffle was nothing special and the strawberry butter did not help much. The fried pork belly tacos were bad and the pork smelled and tasted awful. I would not recommend this dish at all. The service was very slow for such a small place. I also tasted my friends 5 cheese Mac n cheese and Parmesan truffle chips. The chips were tasty and flavorful. The Mac n cheese was too salty, oily, and flavorless.

As dawn broke and the first rays of sunlight kissed the earth, my adventurous spirit (and my rumbling stomach) led me to La Fete Cafe a local gem waiting to unfold its culinary treasures. Now, let me tell you, the experience was akin to finding a rare book in a library - mostly delightful with a few pages dog-eared. Upon our grand entrance (and by grand, I mean we were the sleepy first customers of the day), we were greeted by a server whose niceness was evident, yet a sprinkle of Good morning! would have truly been the cherry on top. Its the little things, you know? Speaking of little things, the sugar situation was a bit like a treasure hunt - poured into a cup rather than sitting proudly in its packet form on our table. A dash of traditional sugar packets might just sweeten the deal further. Ah, but lets not wander too far from the pièce de résistance - the food! The chilaquiles, a dish where sweetness met savory in a delightful dance, whispered sweet nothings to my taste buds. However, it seemed to be playing hard to get, teasing with its flavors but shy on the sauce. A little more generosity with the sauce, and it could well be the talk of the town! Our hydration came with a surprise - a charge for bottled water that seemed to play hide and seek with us on the menu. A bit more visibility on this would ensure guests are not caught off-guard, much like a surprise guest at a party. And then, there was the box. An old box, sitting in plain sight, like an uninvited guest at a soiree, marring the aesthetic symphony of the place. A little tidying up, perhaps a game of hide-the-box, and voilà! The ambiance would match the culinary delights. In a nutshell, this Restaurant is like a book with a few pages needing smoothing. With a bit more sauce here, a dash of morning cheer there, and perhaps a magic trick to make the odd box disappear, its on its way to becoming a bestseller. Rating: (4 stars for the symphony of flavors, with a side of playful suggestions for an encore performance) There you have it, my adventure exploring La Fete Cafe. A morning filled with flavors, a few surprises, and the promise of whats to come. Heres to more sauce, more sugar (in packets, please), and mornings that begin with a cheerful Good morning!

We came here for Valentine s Day 2024 and we came here because it s usually very chill, we didn t want to do anything big or spend a lot of money. And maybe I should ve looked online to see what was going on that day but I didn t. We walk in and they have it very nicely set up. We were very impressed. Throughout the night I was very excited to leave a 5 star review, which I usually dont post reviews at all. The food was fantastic, and honestly, MOSTLY worth the price. We paid 140$ for two entrees, 4 drinks, and an appetizer. They had a fixed menu this day, and honestly should ve mentioned prices before hand. We didn t ask about prices because we did not assume that this usually decently priced restaurant would basically throw some stuff on the table, make some special plates, and think they can almost triple the average bill we would ve had. I like this place but I definitely feel scammed after the 14th. So if you come here for a special holiday keep this in mind because me and my husband were not prepared to spend triple what we would normally spend here. Recommended by our RN coworker. Today was extraordinary. Horrible customer service and bad judgement from the staff. We decided to try a new location to eat and felt very discriminated. I understand when a business is overwhelmed with short staff but this place had something else against our party. We were able to sit at a table but not one server approached our table for 10min even as they stood around behind a counter and made eye contact. We felt racially profiled or judged. I wouldnt recommend this place. Maybe changes will be made for future business. Good luck.

Came here for dinner on Thursday night with some friends and I am so glad I did! Was not expecting such an authentic Soul Food experience here in El Paso. The place is small and cozy but it almost empty when we got there because of a sandstorm going on outside. Talked to the owner and staff while we sipped mimosas (their liquor license has been approved and they are awaiting their first beer shipment) and you can immediately tell that they care about the food they create. As more people came in you got the feeling that this was just a back home gathering with all your friends. It was a very warm eating experience. We ordered, food came out quickly and man do they throw down in the kitchen! I had the Chicken and Waffles which is the best I ve had this side of the Mississippi. Soft and fluffy waffle with a flavorful chicken thigh (not a chicken strip) overloading the plate. We had the Shrimp and Grits which were soft and so buttery! We ordered the El Paso Mac and it was supper creamy and extra cheesy. We finished the meal off with the Soul Food Egg Roll and the Le Fête Grilled flavored wings which were both impressive. Food was amazing and the presentation was top notch. Will 100% come back here multiple times because I want to taste all the food they have to offer.

The foods I ordered were all delicious, and its a rare find in El Paso where you can enjoy Southern American cuisine. In addition, the price is quite reasonable considering the quality of the cuisine!! The owner and staff are amiable, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I enjoyed it. They put a lot of passion into explaining the menu, which I appreciated. Honestly, I would say the only thing that could be improved is the restaurants atmosphere. The inside is clean, but it looks a bit old, which might not seem very appealing. I saw reviews about the place being a bit dirty, but it is clean! Also, the owner is planning to improve the atmosphere, so I really want to see how it is going to be!! Again, the food is excellent, so Ill definitely go back. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try.

Saw this place on EP Foodies, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a steak egg croissant and a steak skillet. Everything was cooked to order, fresh and so flavorful. Portion sizes were plentiful. The wait staff was quick and very accommodating. We had a long talk with the owner/chef--this man is passionate about his restaurant. This is a rare find tucked away in a strip center on Zaragoza. You can find their off menu specials on Facebook and IG. Please come eat here! Lets support this amazing small business.

The food was delish and I enjoyed the mango lemonade. I had the French toast plate which comes with eggs bacon and potatoes and my boyfriend got the Steak skillet which was very good. The place is very small and the tables are extremely close together. There is one person who is the server as well. I would go again because the food was good but I would most likely get it to go. Our server was interesting but overall the experience was nice.

The food saved this restaurant, I ordered the B.Y.O.B breakfast, delicious fluffy scrambled eggs, flavorful sausage, the bacon was fine, and the herb seasoned home fries were good. First impressions of the dining area included hair on the table, flies, and exposed ceiling. They show mimosas online but they don t have any yet. Overall I would return for the food.

Wonderful little place with incredible flavors. The egg rolls are unique, well fried, and comes with a nicely paired dipping sauce. Also got the jerk mac and cheese and sampled the shrimp and grits. Both were great and hard to stop eating. The mac and cheese came out in a smoking hot skillet and kept it warm the whole way through. Neither soupy or dry, too much cheese or too little, the mac and cheese was right down the middle of perfect for me. If I lived in El Paso, Id be here all the time.

Parking: there are slot parking in front of store and on sides. However, the storefront on the left (if facing La Fete Cafe) someone seems to be updating it. Kid-friendliness: Depending age of kid(s) there might be an issue. The furniture were recycled pallets/empty cable reels upcycled into functional pieces. Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair might can fit through the doors. As far as maneuvering inside the store that might be awkward situation. With the type of furniture and how the tables are setup, personnel sitting will need to accommodate/move for the wheelchair.

Great unique food with excellent service. My husband and I ordered the steak skillet, and it was filling, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. My son ordered the Shrimp and Grits with Cajun sauce, and he liked it as well. I noticed the Cajun sauce did seemed oily, but he really liked his plate. The service was superb. The restaurant started filling up after we arrived. Since they only had one server, I didnt expect good service. Boy was I wrong, our waitress was so attentive filling up my coffee and husband soda three times. The meals were served promptly. I wish I had gotten her name because she handled the restaurant like a pro. I cant wait to come back to taste some other delicious menu items.

I had a taste of the waffles, which my son chose a peach cobbler butter to put on them. Can I say, Oh my! Last but not least, my husband had the Monte Cristo which came with potatoes. The potatoes were seasoned and crispy. Yum! The Monte Cristo was outstanding! Oh yes, how could I forget, since I was with 2 big guys, we also ordered the 5 cheese Mac and cheese. That too, was devoured for its deliciousness. The best part was meeting the chef, Patrick, who you could tell has a passion cooking some really great tasting soul food. The service was great too.
