LOVE IT! This has been me and my moms go-to for the past couple of years. Its definitely a vibe, the service is always very personable and the food is excellent. Im not a vegetarian but am picky about what I eat so the fact that there are so many healthy choices is a huge plus and we usually go for lunch on the weekends so of course we have a lil drank to go with our meals which never disappoint

I hate a restaurant that takes classic meals and ruins them by trying to flare them up. Honestly the margaritas were amazing but the food was very extra for no reason. I ordered a pub burger with guacamole and a side of sweet potatoes fries. The fries were mixed up cause none of the servers here actually write down your order they just remember it once I got my sweet potato fries I was jarred with the extra sugar sprinkled over my already sweet potato fries. The burger falls apart easily and the meat is about half the circumference of the bun. The meat was pretty good but i expect way more when I go out. Especially with todays prices.

Eloise is a very unique style of restaurant, the atmosphere is dark and quirky while the service and staff was very attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent, myself not being a vegan absolutely loved my dinner choice and my husbands choice was excellent as well. I would recommend anyone to come and try the food here, while the atmosphere may be a little unique the food makes up for any quirky style they choose to have.

We are here about 4,500 miles into a transcontinental road trip. Great eatery with many meat and vegan options, as well as many adult beverage options. My partner said the vegan nachos were the best nachos shes ever had, whether vegan or non-vegan. They were her favorite food shes had on this road trip. She kept subconsciously saying mmm even after we left LOL. I had the impossible pub burger and vegetable soup, which were both also excellent. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio area and admiring the view.

Gotta say, I was utterly disappointed. The reviews here and from colleagues have been raving about Eloise, but my experience definitely did not echo this sentiment, to say the least. Staff is friendly and attentive, coming to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of throughout our meal. The setting is hipster and quaint with a very chill atmosphere. Small outdoor patio is in front. It definitely evokes a come to lounge, eat, and make quality conversation vibe. The food... that is probably my least favorite part of this venue. The curry was very bland with a sour undertone. Choice of protein is given. Portion was muy grande, but given the lackluster taste it was definitely not a plus. It comes with a bowl of brown rice that is sour due to whatever broth was used to cook it with. There are soups of the day, of them I have tried the red bean soup, pretty average but has much more taste than the curry. What Eloise does not do well.... is meat. Pub burger patty ordered medium rare came out glaringly close to well done. Dijon mustard is very overpowering with bitter overtones. Sweet potato fries, an additional cost side, was very soggy and average at best. The best part of the meal was the vegan nachos. They are magnificently flavorful and are topped with cheese, onions, tomatoes, and crumbled bean patties which definitely do a good job at supplanting meat. The vegan Thai tea tastes very diluted and watered down, which is probably a result of the dairy substitute. All in all, I would only recommend the nachos, pretty stinking good. Unfortunately, Eloise, I will not return. Thanks for a good time.

Great recommendation & anyone else reading this should order these! Delicious breading and cooked perfectly. Happy hour so got a Moscow mule, which is a home run, & a margarita. Both well made & tasty. Got the guac burger & vegetarian pub burger. Both flavorful burgers. Only complaint being the pub burger was missing the mushrooms it states it has on the menu. James handled the issue professionally. Very happy with the service & food. Highly recommend!

This is a new location review. I say that because the current rating for this place is misleading since the reviews are mostly related to the previous location. That said, this new location is just not good. It seems the owners definitely bite off more than they could chew here. It was so much nicer as a smaller more intimate place across the street. The current space is not cute at all and smells like a public restroom throughout the entire bar/restaurant. The floors, walls, and seats are all very dirty and dont appear to be looked after in any genuine way. Its almost like they didnt bother to clean anything after they took it over from the previous tenants. Unfortunately, the food definitely leaves more to be desired here too. Portions are below average and the taste is lackluster on most items. The chilaquiles are just soggy nachos. But no matter what, do not order the refried black beans. These are just bad. Its really sad to say it, but this place became a victim of if it aint broke, dont fix it. I hope they get back to quality vs quantity here. Eloise was cute before and somewhere to look forward to.

Then we got the food I had the Pueblo pobalano plate and it was decent, however my friend had some omelet and the egg was burnt and gross. I spent 66$ on two people. Such a waste. Never going back.

Eloise is what I would call a nouveau-French-European spot. Newly relocated into a space once inhabited by a dive-bar, the edges of this restaurant are still fairly rough. The patio/outside dining is a work in progress and offers little curb appeal. Upon entering the establishment there was a noticeable haze inside from the kitchen. While not putrid, it made me concerned that we would leave smelling like the restaurant. The French/European flair is immediately evident and a nice change compared to a majority of small El Paso dining establishments. The lighting was a bit on the darker side and it was difficult to see the others in our party as the sunlight from the front windows caused a harsh backlight. The art work on the walls and overall theme of the restaurant offer a decent attempt a French cafe but with time I hope it all comes together. The closest you could compare is Le Madeline and of course there is no comparison. I certainly hope there is one day! The menu choices are more vegan and vegetarian friendly than your average El Pasoan may be used to but theyre not absurd. The chicken sandwich and their beef patty burgers recommendations for the carnivore in the group. We ordered the vegan nachos nachos, grilled cheese and Akaushi all natural beef patty with their pure cane sugar soda to drink. The portions were generous, we didnt finish the nachos and shared portions of the burgers; the soda tasted like flat cherry cola. Be prepared for approximately $20-$25 per person. We did not purchase any alcohol or coffee. The menu is not kid friendly save for the grilled cheese. Our waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. I believe a deep knowledge of the menu and a brief explanation of the menu would greatly improve the overall experience unless the ownership wishes to keep their core clientele to a select group. The menu is difficult to decipher for the average person. I do not believe we will be back, but please do not let this review set a concrete view of Eloise. I see what they are attempting and hope they succeed. El Paso does not need any more taco or pizza joints. Eloise is a step in the right direction. Ownership was able to upgrade to a larger space, lets hope theyre able to make the best of it. Vegetarian options: Majority of menu is vegan/vegetarian friendly.

I really wish I would have ordered a salad! The chiliquiles sounded good, I love enchiladas so I was looking forward to it! Boy was I disappointed! This was glorified nachos not even done well! They slapped some chips on the plate, drizzled a tablespoon of sauce, a smattering of cheese and some purple onion. The best thing about this plate was the black beans. The worst was that only a FEW chips had cheese, the rest were naked. So I paid $14 for a plate of chips with a side of beans . Wow Not Impressed. I was so disappointed I couldn t even take a picture. For dessert we decided to try the cookies one chocolate chip and one ginger snap. The cookie, especially the ginger snap, was so hard I could not cut it with the knife! Maybe another visit will yield better results

Pretty disappointed with our visit today. We came from Las Cruces, placed an order for pickup so we didn t open the order until getting home. I ordered the curry (which I have done countless times before, both for take out and in the restaurant), and when I got home both the container with the curry and the rice that came with it were half empty. Usually the containers are full. I called the restaurant and told them, they initially made excuses for it, then said they would make sure our next order would be full next time. Eventually said they d give us 10% off next visit. I m sorry, but 10% isn t even going to cover the gas it would take to get there. Extremely disappointing, and it seems as though the service here has been declining. Proceed with caution

The tone of the sever was uninviting. When ordering the employee informed us that the infused alcohols were all out of stock. It took a while to get our drinks and once we got them they were pretty good. Once we got our drinks we didn t get any table touching whatsoever until we flagged down our server. I have been a repeat customer for awhile until today. I normally order the vegan nachos which I use to love. However, these last few times I ordered the vegan nachos to go they have given me hardly no beans (which is one of the main ingredients of the nachos) and I ve been letting slide at times and asking for more one other time because they don t give enough anymore. Today the amount given was just insulting. Keep in mind, I used to ALWAYS tip even when I would see for myself others NOT tipping. It s sad because I really liked the nachos but I will not be cheated out of my hard earn money every time I come in for a to go order. Also the super young looking girl should learn manners or better communication skills like I don t know thank you . I got my refund back and left. Never again.

In what world do you call these nachos chilaquiles? I ordered the red chilaquiles with chicken and received a plate of wannabe nachos, except there was no cheese on them. There was also a lack of red sauce on them. The beans seasoning made them taste like they were from a can. I left 90% of my food on the plate and when the server came by she just asked if she can take the plate out of the way. Anyone with a pair of eyes and common sense could see I was dissatisfied with the food and would have offered to make things right. My girlfriend had the Menudont, and she should have listened to the plate name... it is a definite DONT!!! The broth was a watered down red sauce with lack of flavor. Out of the last 3 times Ive been here, 2 of those times the exact same things happened: 1) There was a hair in the food, literally baked into the empanada, so gross (last time it was in the curry), 2) Server forgot someones order (last time they gave someone chicken curry when they ordered tofu). 3) Food was not as flavorful as it used to be, beans on nachos were burnt, bread was stale. This time the service was much worse though, not only was there hair in the food and the server forgot an order, but neither of those items were discounted or taken off the check. I worked in the service industry for over a decade and thats as basic as it gets. If you mess up or the kitchen does, you do your best to make it right. My friends food did not hit the table until after everyone else was done eating. The last time this happened at least the server or manager took the items off the check. Server also charged the wrong cards for 2/3 of our split checks ($14 check vs $39 check), but worse than that she initially gave me one itemized receipt for $39 dollars, it was missing my drink and the deserts we ordered, so I thought great, at least they took care of that. But then when she recharged the cards correctly and brought me the receipt to sign, it was for $56 and she did not tell me she was charging me more or provide a new itemized receipt. Another basic thing, you do not charge someones card for an amount you have not told them or provided them a receipt for! To put things in perspective it was the end of the night and we were the only table this server had. It would be more understandable if it was busy and she was in the weeds. I really want to support this place but dont think Ill be back any time soon.

Im new to the area and thought I found a new vegan spot until on my third or fourth visit I witnessed the business allowing customers to bring non-service dogs into the dining area of the restaurant and even on the tables. I was astonished and disgusted. A restaurant is no place for animals especially with the restaurant not being aware of customers particular allergies. Needless to say, this was my last visit.

Various seating options outside with a bit of privacy, nice environment inside as well (bit more open). The waiter was great and very attentive - I dont think I ever got down to half a glass of water. I had my first London Fog here - sweet but good. Pretzel bites also good. Would get both again.

First time eating here and the food was good but I felt like I was being watched b/c I was black. There were customers in the establishment sitting at the bar when I arrived but once I came in and sat down they went out on the patio. Once I left out the restaurant those same customers went back in the establishment and sat at the bar. I felt like I was being watched while I ate my food. Mind you I did leave the waiter a good tip. Not once did he come back to ask me did I need anything else after I paid. I felt like he was only waiting on me b/c he had no other choice. The other girl or waitress didn t even look my way. If you are black I don t recommend eating here, I felt very uncomfortable. Will not be returning! They didn t even say goodbye! Discrimination is what I felt. Also I m sitting in there parking lot as I leave this review . Oh yea asked for a bag for my left overs and he brought me an Albertsons plastic bag.

I took my wife out on a date and I was looking for a restaurant that has a vegan selection. I kept finding so many restaurants that claims to have great vegan choices but they all really have 2 or 3 choices. I came across Eloise and really liked what I saw on the menu. Almost every dish on the menu was vegan or could be made vegan. The service was fantastic and food and drink absolutely divine.I have to say both my lovely wife and I were blown away when we came in. Possibly our new favorite restaurant

Went there for lunch during the week. There was only one other party there. We were looked up and down and then the server looked away from us and said ,wherever you want no hello, no welcome. Nothing They claim all inclusive, but the menu is heavy on the vegan side. The food had no flavor at all. The bread was so hard I feel like I could have broken a tooth. Food is overpriced, the server was too busy doing nothing at the bar to acknowledge or check in on us. We left feeling unwelcomed, underwhelmed with the food, service and just the overall experience. Theres better options out there

I used to love this place. I recently went with one of my friends and made sure I checked the hours. It said they closed at 11:00 pm. We got there at 9:00 pm just to have some drinks. The employees were extremely rude when we arrived. I asked again about the hours and he responded quickly saying that the kitchen was already closed and saying that they were about to close the bar too. I prefer not to be a bother for the employees and not go back. Ever.

we dont have mayonnaise he (they/them...maybe?) said to me as he scoffed at my barbaric request. I shouldve figured when the menu offered more substitute this and pseudo that options than real food. The meatless Monday bulletin board, written pretentiously on a chalkboard as if we were on the Italian Riviera, should have screamed out to me that this place was not going to be my cup of chai latte. Nevertheless, I ordered. I ordered a burger on the worlds hardest bun. A bun that the server could only defend as we bake them fresh daily, in-house. Sure you do, Trevor. Thats why it tastes like its been sitting collecting mold in the El Paso heat for the last 3 summers. If you appreciate taste ..ANY taste, save yourselves the money and aggravation.

Heavy on oil, light on taste, or any real seasoning at all. I cant remember ever eating more bland food, I couldnt finish. My wifes fries were oil soaked and not cooked completely, just warm and soggy with oil. My torta had zero flavor, the black bean mush tasted like the bread, which tasted like the red sauce on top, which tasted like water; zero detectable seasoning. I would not recommend this restaurant for vegans, maybe their other dishes are stellar, however, for vegans/vegetarians you get a better meal eating weeds in a field.
