Went there for my youngest granddaughters softball tournament. Im giving it a 4 because I dont know what the other fields look like. It may be a 5 but for now, a 4. It was nice having the restrooms right in the middle, instead of some of these kinds of parks which have portables that you have to walk a country mile to get to... ok. Maybe not quite that far, but its challenging for some of us oldies but goldies when our... waste management systems have been... compromised over the years. Whats grandpa talking about, Dad? Whats waste management? Well, youll find out some day... hopefully not for a very long time! We played on the T-ball field, which is an artificial surface. Great for T-ball. NOT for softball. Praise the Lord, no one got seriously injured from the balls bouncing off the ground faster. If I go there again, Ill look at the other fields & update. Not sure about dog-friendly. I didnt look to see if there were those horny goat weeds around. But theres a big open field across the parking lot drive that Im sure people walk their dogs.. and hopefully pick up after. I dont understand people who walk their dogs & dont pick up after them. I took our 2 little girls to a park the other day. Right in front of the sign w the box of doggy bags someone let their big dog leave a big dump. How rude, inconsiderate & immature. But alas, I digress. I played w my grandsons in-between games & we didnt smell... funky... well, ok. But the fact they hadnt showered is irrelevant to whether we ran into dog mines or not. It was a nice park overall. Actually Im giving it 5. If I find the other fields bad, then Ill update.

A beautiful memorial to the lives lost August 3, 2019 stands here. Time will go by and many will move on. Some will even forget. But this memorial will stand watch over their memories, it will remind us all of how ugly hate can be.

Today, I shopped at Walmart and ate my Nachos, , , and a at the park. No one is having their picnics on site for the 4th of July . Playground: Spacious area for picnics, walking, and playing , , and tee .

If you go during the week during class time, the high school kids are there on top of the games and throwing glass bottles. It is either going in the afternoon or very early. But with those young people it made me a little insecure. Playground: In general they are good

Nice, clean playground for the kids. Ample space with crash and trees to throw or kick a ball around. Unfortunately no fixed restrooms. Just dirty portable jons. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space for dogs to run around. No fully gated areas though. No water filling stations either. Picnic area: Few stationary picnic tables.

Awesome playground for kids with lots of benches and seating nearby to watch the kids. Shaded well and enough trees nearby to stay out of the sun. The grass is well kept. The best park for us and the kids is the floor of the playground. Very soft and spongey with great grip. Got me to workout a little while watching the kids play. Enjoyed the time out with the family and making new friends

This park is beautiful, but the playground needs to have lights on after 7. The sun is to hot to have kids playing while the sun out. Please consider turning the lights on at the playground area.

Good park. Only drawback is highschool kids go after school and sometimes just sit on the play sets and dont let children play.and they need to fix the lighting . Other than that its a good place.

Yo this park is dope. They got a tree house looking slide, a little net crawl thing, some fake log bridges... Dont get no better. Plus there were baddies reading books in the shade. Its the bees knees.

Great walking trail to walk the dogs. A nice size playground with newer equipment and lots of fun things to climb on. Only negative we found here is that the grass is covered with tiny burrs, so be mindful when walking through the grass.

I never visited pre-COVID, so perhaps that has something to do with the current state of affairs of this park, but it is not looking so good these days. Several dead trees and the grass is nearly overrun with creeping chaffweed. Pretty wretched place to bring a child, unless you stick to the play gym, which I did not get a good look at but appears to be a nice play set and in decent shape.

The white lady working the food counter ran out to tell us we couldnt bring in our water bottles and a snack my niece had was very unprofessional telling us it didnt matter if it was water or not a bunch if ppl bring in their own bottles and snacks and weve been here before and nobody has told us anything about that
