Rude owner. Their business could not accommodate a party of more than 11 people. Tried to cramp a whole family of 14 at a table when there were other tables available.

the worst customer experience ever, the waiters were so rude to me and my family on my mothers birthday. They told us to go to Peter piper pizza if we didn t like their attitude. We simply told them we couldn t fit at the tables and told us if they get busy they couldn t serve us and they told us they didn t have sodas so we had go to circle K to get some, and they told us they were going to charge us for the sodas we bought.

If you happen to have a horrible day go eat here. The people and the food they serve will place a huge smile on your face. We absolutely love Cafe Italia and especially the wonderful people that operate it. Consider us permanent customers.

The restaurant is a cozy place, it has a terrace that allows you to sit outside if you wish, the menu is little, according to other Italian cafes, this location does not have a variety of desserts or cappuccino/latte. Yes, the food is delicious, pizza super delicious pepperoni, well served house salad, we ordered the antipasti rustic bread as a starter, very little amount of cheese and fruit compared to the other location in Cimarron

The food was INCREDIBLE. I had only been to the one in Cimarron, and I wasnt impressed by that one, but this one made me forget I was even in El Paso. So, so good. And I actually prefer it being BYOB so we could take the exact wine we wanted. We got the cheese and meat appetizer and the Margherita pizza.

Over priced for mediocre food. Waiter gave incorrect description of a pasta shrimp dish. I asked about the sauce, he said white wine & olive oil. It was a heavy cream sauce. When I complained, he defended by saying theres white wine in it. He lied. I wont be back. Theres are much better Italian restaurants than this disappointment.

Food was really good... Delicious actually. But the menu was very small, some might say focused. Atmosphere was a little loud and indoor space a little cramped. BYOB... No wine menu. $ Value for food was good not great. I would go back by myself for some delicious and filling Italian food. It would be a good spot for a simple date. I would definitely hesitate to go with a family and kids.

Wow! Went out with my two kids, my wife and mother in law for my daughter s 7th birthday since she wanted to come here. Came here before for her birthday minus the mother in law. This time apparently the presence of 1 extra person warranted a 20% charge!!!! When asked, the answer was well it s not a party, but . . That s crazy!! No complimentary cake ( not that I expected that), but a 20% charge. Our service was fine, but we didn t require, get anymore service than any other table, nor was it particularly special, just average. While the food was decent it was not great enough to leave anymore than the 20% they robbed of me or to warrant me ever coming back. Hope they enjoy it.

Not sure who I was tipping as I was served only three times by three different people the time I was there. I like to give decent tips as I m sure most people do but only if there is an attentive and concise waiter who ll make time to make the experience a bit more welcoming and personal; those who do so are better-served. The place is a rather dear place, however, seated next to the stalls, served burnt meatballs, and given three different faces for service. Nevertheless, I was satisfied with the amount of food and the well cooked pasta. I ve been here a couple of times in the past year, however, I do expect to visit under better circumstances.

The food by definition is great, the service not that much, I went for my birthday and they won t give my mom and aunt sits because that arrived late. The manager attention is very good, though, he gave me a gift card since they charge me extra when I split my payment. Since they have a lot of customers, I think the dining area is small, is kind of crowded.

Spent $200 for our meal only to be asked to leave within a few minutes of finishing because more customers were showing up. We hadnt even been there 40 minutes. We looked around the room and noticed several tables still open but the man who asked us to leave did not want to push tables together to accommodate the bigger group. So we got hosed. If gratuity wasnt already included for our group I would have asked for our money back. Horrible experience. Didnt want to cause a scene.

The pizza is the best in El Paso, although they need to either get their oven hotter or cook it longer when ordered well-done. The crust was very very floppy, but the flavors are amazing. The menu is a little too simple. One or two more options of appetizers would be nice and the same for dessert (there is only one choice). The service was okay, but the check-ins were too infrequent and they didnt get our check for 10 minutes after they knew we were finished and not having dessert. The atmosphere is nice, but if anyone from the restaurant is reading this: please dont use Pine-Sol, it stinks awfully in the dining area and its unpleasant. This place is a 5/5 with a few minor adjustments.

This place is a gem! The food was delicious, and THEY MAKE THEIR OWN MOZZARELLA!! To start, we had the Caprese salad and the Pane Rustico, which was like a charcuterie board. The mozzarella was on point, and the tomatoes they used were so flavorful and juicy. Also, the homemade bread that came with the board was fantastic. It was dense but airy with a great flavor that complemented anything you put on it. Truly magical. For the main course, we ordered Andys pizza and the chicken Alfredo. The crust on the pizza was Neapolitan style but substantial. The sauce in it was somehow buttery or velvety while still being so flavorful. As for the chicken Alfredo, it was bomb: super creamy, tender chicken, and freshly made. I cannot recommend this place enough. Cant wait to go back.

Saddest excuse for an Italian restaurant! they have like 6 menu items, sad crust, no topping options, yet they want to charge $20 for a pizza. Oh and when I asked what they have to drink she said BOTTLED lemonade. Id rather go get an Artisan pizza for these prices. My friends prosciutto was put on the top of the pizza uncooked? The crust tasted like it was a walmart frozen crust, and the pizza was just dripping grease off of it. Would NOT recommend.

Only went to Eastside location for a Xmas Party. Things were great till the food came out. Food is served Family Style at the table, so youre sharing the same bowl of food with other people you really dont know. Gross! Then when you ask for a clean plate because it dirty from previous food you ate. Place didnt give out clean plates because they didnt want to wash more dishes because the place had already quoted party host a price and that includes Handing out Clean Dishes at extra cost. So youre eating Steak on a plate that had salad and Alfredo before that and had to wipe off with a napkin. The kicker was the one slice of cake for a entire table of strangers to share. That didnt include the servings of other pieces of cake that were served to other tables. When those pieces were not eaten, they were just placed on other tables after being breathed on by another table. No surprise this place Went Under and Closed.

Being an 1st gen Italian that cooks plenty of family recipes from back home, I was really excited to learn there was a reputable Italian restaurant here. Before you read a wall of text I think this place really specializes in their pizza, but clearly not so much their pasta. Next time I will definitely try the pizza. First things first. I wouldve given 4 stars had the chef remembered to peel all of the shrimp properly, instead I got to ingest a nice hard shell. So minus 1 star for that. I ordered the Linguini alla Scampi which is a classic southern Italian dish. This restaurant doesnt claim to be authentic Italian so I wont rate them that way. They did in fact capture the spirit of Italian food here. The sauce went really well with everything, the pasta soaked it up well. The foccaccia like bread provided had proper yeasty taste to it. Everything is a bit on the heavy side. The bread is just a bit dense, the pasta was a bit much to how much shrimp there was, the sauce was pretty thick. Truthfully this pasta sauce should be very light and the wine and shrimp should really be the star, not the cream and pasta. So if you like a heavier pasta dish I definitely recommend this place. Nothing wrong with that. The couples of things that dont get a pass are: 1) Putting cheese on shrimp 2) Telling me you are unable to cook the pasta Al Dente Please next time give me the option of having Parmesan in the dish, even though you offered it after served to me I could tell some had already been put in. Cheese hides the flavor of fish and is never done in Southern Italy. As for not being able to cook the pasta properly, either you pre-prepped the pasta then cook to order (please stop that), or you dont know how to cook pasta. The atmosphere is great though, especially outside. The service is good, they made sure I was well attended to and were quick about orders, refills, check, etc. I do wish they would have remembered to bring lemon wedges instead of me asking 3 different times (this dish should absolutely be served with lemon), but its fine. Also next time black pepper, not red pepper flakes. I think this place has potential to be 5 star if they just put as much passion into their pasta as everyone says they put into their pizza.

Really good food, in a quaint atmosphere. Grilled veggies were excellent. A great pre cursor to the pasta or pizza. I had the chicken fettuccine, superb. Wish I knew you could bring your own wine. They uncork it for $7.00...hoping to return.

My experience here was great. The servers were very attentive and the food was delicious. We ordered an antipasti, caprese salad, pizza and chicken alfredo - everything was a hit. The bread is also very tasty. Count on me coming back in the future!

Worst customer service ever and definitely not a family oriented place. We have been coming for years and now we have a baby and decided to come for dinner. We brought our stroller and the servers were very annoyed by it even if we were not in the way, the worst part is this place does not have a changing station and we were told to change diapers in our vehicle which felt like a slap in the face!! We were loyal customers but lately we had noticed they always rush you out or pressure you to keep ordering more and still decided to come as a family but will never come back again. Do not bring your toddler/baby here!!! This used to be a cozy place to enjoy a glass of wine and now feels like a fast food restaurant, extremely disappointed.

I ordered food from Cafe Italia through Uber Eats. The bread and seasoned butter was absolutely delicious. The rest of the food was very good as well, but in my experience when the bread is this good at an Italian restaurant the rest of the food follows.
