Amazing Divorce attorneys. I was about to give up everything. I had already paid Mr Maynez he didnt care if , I had paid him. He told me to fight for what I deserve for 50/50. My Exes Attorney is supposed to be one of the best female attorneys In El Paso. Mr Maynez knew it and he got me over the 50/50. Paid $2,500 to Omar the attorney over 6 months ago, and he has done absolutely zero work on the case, whats worse is he kept assuring me he would file against a contractors bond held by the city and never did. The bond has since expired, and now I have no recourse. Omar not only wasted my money, but he wasted the precious time (6 months) we had available to move on the contractors bond. Omar does not return calls. He consistently missed meeting dates and refused to answer questions. During one meeting, I asked, Show me what has been done/completed. he responded back and said Ill need a few days to review your file and get back to you. To which I said, Why are we having this meeting if you are unprepared and cant tell me what has been done. I would give him zero stars if I could. Edit respons to owners: Im the one you took a $2,500 check from on March 15th, 2023. Ive been to your Montana office 4 different times. The bond expired in August of 2023, and you told me the same garbage Its still not too late when I asked why nothing has been filed. EIGHT long months later and still nothing has been completed or filed. If thats not enough information, then you truly are a horrible lawyer who did ZERO work on my case. BUYER BEWARE.

Mr Maynez is a terrible attourney. I hired him for my estate case and paid in full from the get-go. He asked that myself and all my siblings sign a waiver, and we did. This was almost 3 years ago, and he has finally made some time for me, only to tell me, Youve been harassing my staff. No, Im asking for what I paid for. I paid for representation, and I did not get it. I called the estate court on several occasions and was told that my lawyer had to do his job. Its obvious that after almost 3 years he didnt do anything. Every time I called the office, I got the run around from Jessica and Mr. Maynez. The only thing I wanted was to be treated like a paying customer. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas State Bar. This guy and this office is full of hot air.

He is not a good attorney if i could rate him a zero i would. He is shady to get more money for himself Instead of helping the client. He tried convincing us to wait untill my niece turned 18 to try and get more money out of the insurance from the car accident. And we said NO we wanted to settle the case he got upset and stopped the process of the case and didnt do anything. We lost that time because of his greedyness and he let the case pass the statue of limitations to finish the case. Now he dosent want to give us a letter that he is not representing us anymore out of anger because we didnt want to get more money out of the insurance like he wanted. He lacks communication skills and experience in the field has no sympathy for the clients. Does not keep clients up-to-date on to the status of their cases. Do not recommend at all. He is the worst attorney we ever had.

I never review places, but I just could move on with my life without recommending Mr Omar Maynez. Initially I hired an attorney that only took my money and did nothing but the worst for me in two years. My aunt recommended me here and Mr Maynez did for me in a month what the other didn t do in the 2 yrs. I was pushy because I needed my divorce to close on my house that same month, he out everything together and within a week we went to court. I witnessed the judge applaud him and congratulate him in a very professional and exemplary written amendment. The judge even asked me to thank Mr Maynez for what he did for me and how well put together my case was. In all honesty I think his assistants can be better. I only interacted with one, and to me she wasn t very efficient and lacked communication. I had to call and message without a reply sometimes. That made me nervous so I decided to walk in to the office and speak to talk to him. I did, and I was divorced the next day. Speaking directly to him turned my view on this firm. I had a consultation and they were supposed to call me to pay it and then I would have it, they never did. I called back to tell them I was never called. They told me again they would call me in a bit and they didn t. Not saying the lawyer is bad since I never even worked with him but his staff

Worst place ever. Do not get a divorce here. They lack communication and then they try to blame it on you. They never tell you when you have court and when they make their mistakes they withdraw council from your case like nothing. I have all the proof that they never ever communicate and the day of the hearing they are trying to get a hold of you. Our divorce was not even complicated but because they are so unorganized and lack work ethic they made it hard on the client. So disappointed. I would give it zero starts if I could.

It was like having a public defender represent me. I flew in from Florida to make a court date that they forgot to tell me had been changed. No communication at all from Miguel (the owner) or his staff. I felt like they were working for the state instead of me, there client. We would not recommend to anyone to use this so called attorney

This law firm is ridiculous! Starting with the office management that apparently is unresponsive and unprofessional. My attempt was to get this divorce finalized quick however the office staff lacked so much communication experience and professionalism that they made this experience even worse than what it was. Next, the attorney or a attorney was never in contact with me until I escalated and requested to speak to one. Finally when I paid to have the other party served, they never provided an receipt of the fee paid-I had to circle back with them to request it. This was a really bad experience for me and certainly would not recommend to family or friends.

I paid over 2k only had two court dates in and Omar minus withdrew from my case when it came time to show my evidence and lord and said he never received any of my docs even tho I asked him before court if he had them! My case was LGBTQ related to domestic violence. I ended up being victimized not only by my agressor but also by the law and by this lawyer. I ended up with a misdemeanor when in fact I was intially the person accusing the accuser of harrassment. I remember they used the excuse of a broken door to justify the whole case against me. Thanks to this I have not been able to get a good job even though I have an M.A. in Sociology. Oh, and also, the expenses are incredibly big for such bad defense. I would honestly want to become a lawyer to actually defend people like myself, poor, and underprivileged. Oh, and also, this lawyer makes sure that you pay him otherwise your name will be displayed all over the web as a criminal. He does not even deserve a STAR.
