What a DISASTER of a law firm! My experience with Jessica Kludt is one I hope never to repeat! She and Stephanie Townsend have no clue what they are doing and bailed out on me while in an aggravated estate dispute. On top of that, they kept hundreds of my dollars, which I must now sue them for, to get back. I will

Jennifer Coulter at Townsend, Allala, Coulter & Kludt is an expert when it comes to understanding Medicaid Estate Recovery Program, (MERP). I needed help with a decedents estate. I was from out of State but my brother died in El Paso. Jessica, Stephanie, (and Tess) had answers for me and did the work in a timely fashion. They linked me up with great realty people, and went the extra mile in perfoming non lawyer type services as well. I do not know where to even begin. It has been an nightmare trying to get help for my father and I thought I had finally found an answer. I was wrong. What at first appeared to be a helpful and caring lawyer turned out to be a huge disappointed and waste of money. First of all, they do not care to let you know when they plan on cancelling or not showing up to an appointment. I waited 30 minutes only to be told she was out sick. Really? Apparently, their time is important but yours isn t. Also do not expect an apology it is not coming. Secondly, for about 200 dollars youll be told that you can call the number on your Medicare denial letter and appeal yourself. Well gee thanks! That had never occurred to me! Why even bother going to a lawyer then? Turns out you can do it yourself. After reviewing all the information this was all the help that we got. No further instructions or help with appealing. It may have been that perhaps she didnt want to work with us or perhaps we had upset her in some way. But I would hope that as a professional she would at least refer us elsewhere or tell us if we had offended her in any way instead of leading us along and being so blatantly rude. She more than anyone should know how difficult it is for families looking for answers with resources already scarce and financially struggling. I truly hope others dont have to go through what we did and walk away empty handed and with hopes shattered. I wouldnt wish these struggles on anyone.
