So i only come for the latin nights but they are awesome! They get pretty busy, check their instagram for the next one! They have a lesson as well. Parking: There is a paid public parking lot right behind it. Ive never had issues finding parking spots there but there are also paid street parking in the area too if it is full. Pretty cheap parking.

Went in yesterday to grab some cocktails and hang out with friends. We were having a nice relaxing evening, the service was good and so were the drinks. That was until the dance show started Apparently there was a live performance from a dance group not jazz or anything classy, but rather pretty raunchy. I didn t know if I was at a classy cocktail bar or a trashy dive bar. The girls were pretending to sing and had some pretty explicit dance moves. I mean everyone around us was laughing at them including us it was pretty pathetic and we were a little taken a back. The performance just didn t go with the place or the ambience. There was nothing classy about it and it looked like it belonged in a trashy dive bar. After about 20 minutes of this we finished our drinks and left. Like seriously it wasn t even nice to look at, it was pretty distasteful and cringy. Even people walking by outside were like what the hell is going on in there??? I guess to each its own but in my opinion there is a lot better talent out there and if I wanted to see that I would go to a strip club not a cocktail lounge bar . Just sayin I m not into places that demean women and objectify their sexuality to make money, that just isn t in anymore and most women are sick of it it was not sexy, it was not talent, it was gross and demeaning.

Very pleasant atmosphere for a Latin Night on a Thursday. Posts say classes start at 9p but it actually closer to 10p. DJ on scene playing good music. Drink menu includes local, exports and some ipas. Liquors as well as some wine. Friendly staff. Parking: Right across the county court house and el.paso water main building.

Just sat down and ordered a $37 rib eye that was luke warm, the butter was not melted on top and the chimmichuri was not present. Oh and the rosemary truffle fries were three undercooked potato wedges with no rosemary and very little seasoning. The only thing that saved the trip were some very good old fashioned cocktails. Other than that, find a food truck or diner prior to coming out. . It s a very nice spot, nice touches but if you sit at the end of the bar, your presence is an afterthought. Bartenders were nice enough but for me being one of five people sitting at a bar with 3-4 bartenders present, DC Prices without the DC service or attention paid to food. It s what I get for ordering a steak at a bar on a Thursday. Maybe it s because I am not pretty or look like money, but as a paying customer, it left lots to be desired. The longer I wait the less stars for service.

This is a cool bar. Nice to have a place to sit and chat over a scotch. When we went there, multiple tables were occupied with empty drink glasses and remained so for some time. Not sure why they werent cleared promptly for other patrons to use those tables.

6 of us got tickets for New Years GA and there was no where to stand even though it was empty when we got there, no dance floor, DJ set up that lacked any style, and the atmosphere was lacking any energy. No refunds and the manager didn t care to accommodate in any way. Not a great spot for events when the tickets are going for $70 just to get in. There was also no coat check, which is odd for a place trying to be an upscale cocktail bar.

Great place to grab a bite and drinks. My bartender Debbie was very friendly and even suggested a few places for me to check out while Im in town. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. The chimichurri added a ton of flavor to the steak. I highly recommend this place!

Have been here twice for Latin night on Thursdays. They have an hr class of Latin dancing, Bachata and Salsa. Its a great date night for my wife and I. Drinks taste great and charcuterie board is pretty good to snack on. Looking forward to next time.

Im not sure where to begin with The Garrison. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. They nailed the fancy speakeasy look. The drink selection is just as extraordinary as well. With a great head bartender Daniel to assist with finding the right drink for you, I can garentee you are in safe hands. The managment is just as fantastic as well. Manny cares deeply for giving the best experience possible and working with other local establishments to create something truly great. This is a jazz bar. I didnt have any food, but I had a couple of drinks. It seemed rather expensive, but Im kind of cheap. It is very relaxed and comfortable with cushioned couches and chairs. Nice atmosphere. Great place to meet friends and talk. Parking: Depending on the time of day, you might have to pay to park on the street. Evenings you dont pay. There are various parking garages in the area.

We had a work happy hour here. We had a reservation and when we got there we were told the kitchen was closed. We told them we booked in advance for drinks and tapas. Offered us a charcuterie and we said yes. 90 minutes we got served the board. Service was very slow for drinks and server clearly should not have carried and served the tray of drinks to spill them on my boss. Nothing was comped and we told them we would have at least enjoyed more cocktails if they ever checked on us. We were the only party there and were only 8 people.

Always loved this place, but once Ashley and Patrick left it slowly got worse. The floor manager really sucks. He is really rude and slightly racist considering this is a black owned cocktail lounge. Every time I go there now I see if this floor manager guy is there and if he is I no longer want to be present. His attitude is truly despicable. Every time my friends and I go there he is always rude to us and very dismissive. The bar manager Garrett is amazing though very nice and attentive!

After 30 min, had to wave the server down to take our drink order. A party of 4 showed up and he took their order first and then attended us. It was 2 of us, and he still brought the table of 4 their drink first. Unacceptable, giving the fact that the drinks start at $14. The hosted accidently spilled the entire glass of water water on me, and that did not bother me at all. But the fact that it took that long to attend us is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this wanna be boujie spot.

This was my first time at the The Garrison and I was not disappointed. It was afronight so the music was amazing, playing artists such as Tems and Davido. The staff is so kind and helpful, there is presentation in everything. They just added food too and it s so delicious. I would definitely recommend The Garrison to anyone looking for a chill and fun time! They offer so many fun events weekly! :)

Great place for a night out. Alot of thought and quality ingredients are put into the drinks. Bartenders will work with you to find you the best drink for you or try to tailor it for your taste. The night we went here, the bar was not busy but not empty. However, drinks took a while to make. The good thing was that the drinks were great. The music was odd for the style of bar and just a bit too loud for conversation. But the bartenders were friendly and skilled. We will go back again.

Very nice place with some really good craft cocktails! Great place for a night out with a date out drinks with friends. I would add curtains to the place. The open windows is nice, but it needs some mystery to it. Also, Id suggest adding a thick courtain to the back wall by the restroom. Its very lit, so people dont really want to hang out back there.

Dress up nice and go for the red couches. This is the place where you take a date to impress,have a small meeting with friends or business partners. Its not to loud and the view of the downtown area is amazing. Live jazz music plays in the background and the servers are polite. The cocktails are a little pricey but are better that most other places and have great presentation.

This new bar that just opened up downtown literally across the street from the courthouse is set with class. This is not a dive bar. It truly is an experience for your palette. Each cocktail is made with incredible detail meant to ensnare the senses. Cocktails presented with flame broiled banana chips, mescal so smooth it toys with your tongue, an old fashioned that helps unwind the day or The Garrison a signature drink presented in a smoker these are just a handful of what is offered. Chandeliers and the upholstery continue the classy experience throughout with live music being a real treat. And the fine men and women working to keep it all perfectly balanced are all well experienced and bring their own individuality to their craft. The ambience of the the bar was exquisite. If you want to have a calm peaceful time with your family and friends, this is the place. The staff are very friendly. The bartenders even make custom drinks as requested without any hesitation. I can say this was the best quality of drinks I had in El Paso. Truly refreshing and memorable.
