WELCOME TO THE MONTRAE LOUNGE! A unique place. Having been opened since the early 80's we have become a staple in El Paso; offering quiet drinks by yourself, meeting friends, finding new ones or throwing a Party We have received several awards like Best Dive Bar. Our staff is friendly and we welcome EVERYONE! We have snacks, pizzas, and give away Homemade Menudo on Sundays. If you were trying to date us our interests would be sports, karaoke, Jukebox, Live Music, and patio life! :) 8 T.V.s Two on music videos the rest for The Football Package, Baseball, The Texas Network, Soccer fans, all sports you desire. From 7am-2am, Sundays 10am-2am we OPEN! A clean and welcoming business. Make us a stop to and from the airport.

This place is filthy dirty. The service is always horrible. I saw a bartender named Tana stealing money off the bar and overcharging people.She puts her friends drinks on random tabs. Multiple people have had their money stolen and this place should be shut down. Stay FAR AWAY!! Reply: I never once reported anything stolen except my money. TWICE. ..NEVER AGAIN

D is the best bartender in the city. She is a hidden gem. Shes the best bartender Ive ever had! Shes so charismatic and funny. She gives the best customer service! I recommend everyone stop in and see her! Shout out to Alex too hes fabulous!

First visit.My BFF Alex was in town visiting,being a Sunday, we were headed to the 5points area for a nitecap.I scrapped the plan,being it was already late,so I recommend coming here,being I live close by,and always wanted to check this bar out.We were not disappointed. Alex welcomed us,with his friendly charm,and we felt very welcomed as soon as we walked in.The Patio is cozy,the bar is clean and welcoming.Definately will be back!

If your looking for a pretty cool hole on the wall place to go to, this is it. Does look very appealing from the outside but ones you go in there its a pretty cool small place to go chill and have drinks. We always have a blast when we go.

The Montrae Lounge has plenty of parking and also is a clean bar. The Montrae Lounge also seems to be safe and well-stocked. The bartender Alex is always friendly and professional. Alex is very attentive and serves great-tasting drinks. The Montrae Lounge is a great watering hole.

Great little dive bar. Awesome atmosphere. Great bar staff. Reasonably priced spirits and libations. And occasionally they have live (local) artists. Update 15 Aug 2022 This is STILL my favorite dive bar, hands down. Amy, and her staff are awesome. Pop in and have a cold drink, among friendly faces. And maybe one or two grumpy ones. Lol. Update June 2023 Same Lil dive bar. Same great vibe. Beer is cold. Jukebox is digital. Patio had EVAP chillers. All is good.

Literally this bar has been in this location as long as I can remember. Its the only remaining original business of this shopping strip. I grew up down the street on Wick Way and this bar was always there. Im 54 yrs old and the Montrea has always been there.
