Ya know when you find that certain place that just fits? For my wife and I Horizon 76 is exactly that. It starts when you walk in the door the place just feels right. Greeted by smiling faces and seated in an atmosphere Jon Taffer would love. An all original menu designed by Executive Chef Dwight Dowell has everything you would expect from an American Grill House. From yummy appetizers to hearty entrées then on to divine desserts this place is spot on. Oh, and the bar staff is second to none. Many years of bartendending experience (Ive seen them work at other restaurants/bars) offer some real interesting handcrafted signature cocktails. Behind the leadership of General Manager Trevor Wyatt, Horizon 76 is a well-oiled machine. He has put together a staff that feel like family. They remember you. They take care of you. Bring the family (Covid conscious) and enjoy the patio with games and televisions or bring the crew in for Happy Hour. We were looking for a place to eat when my husband saw this one and their sister restaurant Outpost 36. We decided to try this one first. It was fabulous! We both got burgers, and they were by far the best Ive ever tasted. And the duck fries are to die for! Cant wait to try Outpost 36 next time were in town.

Food was excellent. Unfortunately I felt ignored the entire time. The bill was just under 100 dollars and they should have got 20 dollars on ok service alone. 30 for great service. Unfortunately the service was so horrible I didn t leave a tip. I understand being short on staff is a problem in the restaurant industry. I m a chef myself. When I sat down it took 15 minutes for the girl bartender to get drink order taken. 20 minutes later the male bartender asked if we were going to have any appetizers. I told him we never got our drinks. 5 minutes later we finally got our drinks and both of them disappeared. When it came to us ordering we waited for another 25 minutes just to get orders done. The food so amazing the bartenders could have been tipped 30 dollars. Unfortunately that didn t happen. The bartenders and servers need to pick their head up and pay closer attention to their guest. They are missing out on some serious money.

You know you are in the right place the moment you walk in the door and smell the meat grilling. (Not recommended for Vegans). The food was great. Deviled eggs with Bacon, Queso sauce with smoked brisket, grilled chicken with red pepper sauce, and a mushroom cheese burger. All was excellent. The cocktail were mixed properly, and they used premium liquor as s requested. I can tell when the liquor is correct by my CGM. Parking: Plenty of room in the back. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booths. Wheelchair accessibility: Level front entry.

The most amazing food! I was looking for good chicken fried steak and decided to try this place. OMG the best Ive ever had. My friend had the chicken pot pie and raved about it the entire meal. We finished our meal with the hot apple cobbler topped with Mexican vanilla bean ice cream and hot caramel steamed on the plate. An absolutely amazing experience. The prices reflect the high quality food and preparation. Highly recommend!

Visiting from out of town, we tried this place based off of google. The food was really good. When it was time to leave, I walked outside and realized I had left my sunglasses on the table, when I walked back inside my $250 Ray bans were gone, the table was clean and no one had seen them . Decent establishment, watch your personal belongings closely.

I regularly drive 45 minutes from Plano to get some of chef Dwights special dishes that cant be found anywhere else. My favorites are the beef tenderloin chili, the cream of cilantro soup and the fried chicken pot pie. SO DELICIOUS! Dont forget to get some extra chili to go, especially for football season!!!

So I have gone to this place three times. Each time the service has been terrible. The food is amazing, service sucks. On one occasion the waitress left to give someone a ride and let us know when she came back. The last time we left because we were sitting for 15 minutes and no came out to ask what we wanted to drink. They werent short staffed because we saw everyone standing in a group cutting up. So until they get their personnel issues sorted I think Ill take my money else where.

Probably one of the worst restaurant experiences I ve ever endured. Party of 8 and we waited over an hour and a half for our food. All while witnessing everyone who got sat after us receive their food before us, ate and left. Once we got our food, it was cold, bland and dry. When I had asked the manager, she said we got our food late because our table had burgers but there were only two burgers ordered. Then her excuse was short staffed. Both manager on duty and general manager kept coming up with excuses instead of coming up with a resolution. Out party paid full price for a terrible meal, tipped 20% and pre bussed before we left. The golden rule: Do unto others what you expect to be done unto you. I hope no one in the future has this experience especially during a friends birthday. Definitely first and last time coming here. If you want a good experience in Fort Worth I highly recommend Heim Barbecue on the River.

Looks like a nice place, but the food wasnt very good and the service was worse. We did have a big table, 10, so waiting 30 mins to be seated wasnt un reasonable but we arrived at 7 and didnt get our food until AFTER they closed at 9. They were out of a lot of things we wanted. Multiple burgers were order medium rare but varied from bloody pink to well done. All were cold. Everything was very over priced for the quality and portion size. We were charged for a side that supposed to be included in the 2 sides, but was told the bread we did not ask for counted as a side. The waitress was rude and claimed well, I dont make the menu when asked to remove the side but did eventually. Over all not a good experience and dont recommend.

This restaurant right off the bat was iratated that we had a party of 10. We waited 20 plus mins. We finally got sat and service started out fine, but then it took so long to get water refilled. The resturant was out of many things. We ordered and our food took an hour and 20 mins, our food was a little more then warm. The burgers were all over cooked. After the meal we finally got our checks and one check had a question about the sides and the waitress was not nice and responded she didnt write the menu. It was an all around unpleasant experience. Definitely not worth the money spent.

Nice place, the food is consistently delicious. Bummer of experience this time being here though. SLLLLLLLLLooooooowwww. Was about 45-50 minutes from when we ordered 4 burgers until it got brought out. Nothing said during all that time either, no sign of server. Watched other tables by us order, get food and eat while we waited. I ended up literally getting up and walking back into the kitchen to ask where our food was. Bathroom was a bit of a hot mess with no paper towels to dry hands with in there. Honestly, for a wait that long I was disappointed they didnt even comp us the cokes and iced teas we ordered - or even offer up a bowl of chips to munch on while we waited.

Our family went here for lunch today... Amazing food quality - LITERALLY THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE - this was our first time there and we were not disappointed and WILL BE BACK many times. We discovered their sister restaurant Outpost 36 BBQ about a month ago and love it as well. They raise their own cattle on their Texas ranch and thats the meat they serve in both locations. So whether you like BBQ or traditional American comfort foods with flavor perfection, you cant go wrong eating at either location. On a side note, they make sure their customers are satisfied and well taken care of, each person is important to them and in todays marketplace that is rare indeed. Do yourself, your stomach and your taste buds a favor and give them both a try.

I had such an amazing experience at hanger 76. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure my dining experience was top-notch. The food was absolutely delicious! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Wanted to love it but just wasn t a great experience. Ordered chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and veggies Husband got mixed fajitas. Ckn fried steak was cooked well but was so salty could hardly eat it the mixed veggie were a great mix but weirdly spicy and all was lukewarm Hub mixed fajitas were so dry the ends were a bit crispy and tasted Smokey not grilled. My colleague said, This is the type of special place I d look for on vacation. It s really Texas! the restaurant, the food, the service it s just what I think Texas is like! The beef, home grown and processed, is great and the vegetables are fresh. Wait staff treats you like they re glad you dropped by! My wife ordered the pot pie. The server told us it was his favorite. I think she got a bad batch. The pot pie is one of the best dishes they have. It was just really peppery! I tried it and j couldnt eat it. Maybe they pepper shakers lie fell off and they tried to fix it but couldnt. The kids loved their meals. And I loved my burger! Wow! This place is excellent. I love that the meat is farm to table. They have their very own ranch in Texas. Of course the cows are grass fed. The first time I went for dinner. The 3 of us absolutely loved each thing we had. The Chicken Pot Pie, the American Burger and the Brisket Enchiladas were amazing! The prices were good too. Loved the Smores, how fun! Also, the Apple Pie was great. Totally worth the extra workout I had to do. James the server was wonderful, as well as other staff we encountered. The following week, I met a girlfriend for a drink at the bar. The service was great. My happy hour Margarita was tasty. My friend had an Old Fashion and raved about it. Plus there was a free happy hour buffet. Awesome! It had these little hotdogs, chicken tenders and chips and queso. Tell all your friends and family. This place is my new favorite. Cant believe it wasnt very crowded. Next time Ill cut through by going down Tarrant instead of 820 and 377. I dont live near here but it is well worth the effort to get there! The Bartender was amazing. She was attentive and cared about everyone s needs. I did mention to the bartender a few things I noticed that I thought could use some improvement. She quickly passed it on to her manager and hopefully he took her advice. This was honestly one of the best places I have ever eaten at. I had their steak which was better than outback steak house. Our server was so nice, my little brother was there and he was upset that there were no more crayons. So our server gave him a pen. He did not have to do that, but he did. We ordered dessert which was this marshmallow roaster with home made marshmallows. This was such a creative idea. Later we asked the manager How do you make your food so good? The manger said We have a farm were we grow are own crops, we also have cattle so your steak is fresh too. I definitely recommend this amazing place.

A former co-worker and I live a ways apart and I found this place while looking for a good place to eat at a half way point between us. Its Tuesday, I got there at 1 and it was pretty busy but I didnt have to wait for a table. I had what I would call chicken fried steak but they had it listed as a chicken fried filet, and my two sides were a caesar salad and mac and cheese. The food was received quickly after placing our order. The salad was the perfect size and the chicken fried steak was a pretty large portion. The mac and cheese, on the other hand, was absolutely disgusting. It had a grainy like sand texture and was very bland - not a cheesy taste at all. I took two bites and just couldnt eat it. A person I presume to be the manager asked if I wanted something else, I didnt and it was all good - except for the disappointment at grainy mac and cheese. He said it was always like that - there is an error in mixing the cheese sauce and milk if that texture occurs all the time. They might want to change how they make it - just saying. The only other eh I had was the gravy - it was good - a little on the salty side and not enough of it for the portion of steak, but still good. Overall it was an okay visit but outlandishly expensive for CFS at $22 - although good, I have had better for around $15 at other places for the CFS and two sides with rolls, etc... They also charged $12.50 for brisket queso, salsa and chips. By brisket queso, I mean a bowl of cheese with a sprinkling of brisket on it. Again - way over priced and they wanted $7 for bread. Nah! It was a change of pace, a new place to explore - probably wont be back but ultimately you need to decide for yourself.

Had an early dinner here today. I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered fajitas. I was served a sizzling plate of meat, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash and 4 small strips of peppers. The tortillas were dry around the edges. I had to ask for the sour cream and guacamole. When the server brought it out I was told there was no guacamole only sour cream. I felt like the whole meal was not what I ordered. Definitely not worth the 24.00 it cost. I have never heard of fajitas that had mixed veggies and only 4 pieces of pepper. I should have been told no guacamole when I ordered so I could have ordered something else. Our server then avoided us knowing I wasn t thrilled with the no guacamole. I wish this place had a 10 star review. Celebrated my 12 yr wedding anniversary with my lovely wife. I had there burger I m telling you the flavor of that burger put me in an emotional state of mind. I came here for lunch and my wife and I both ordered burgers with fries. They were both very good, the burger buns appear to be baked in house and all the toppings were very fresh. The fries were also very crisp and tasty. The only issue we had was that we ordered an appetizer which we never ended up getting but the manager took it off the bill with no issues. Kinda bums me out to write this review. Since H76 opened, it has been my families GoTo for so many birthdays and special occasions is is hard to count them all. However, service has declined over the past few months. Our last experience on Saturday 2/10/24 might be our last for awhile. To start, we waited 45 min for a table. Not blaming H76 for that, we chose to wait that long and it was expected on a Saturday night. However, when we were finally seated, we waited more than 5 minutes before anyone even said hello, much less take a drink order. (5 minutes is forever when you have watched people eat for nearly an hour) We watched as a waitress (ultimately our waitress) delivered food to a table near us, fill drinks and chat with a table next to us and then promptly...leave the area. She ultimately came back and was pleasant and obviously experienced at her job - Since we had been waiting so long we had everything ready so she took drink, appetizer and food order all at once. - 5 Minutes later the appetizers arrived but the drinks were...? We asked the food runner if we could at least get some water and our waitress finally arrived with waters and sodas for the kids, but no bar drinks. -- It would be about 40 min to finally receive those. Once we had food and something to drink we relaxed a bit. The food came out in a timely manner but no one asked to fill drinks, we finally had to flag someone down. The nice gentleman that always walks the dining room checked on us and we told him about the long wait and no bar drinks and he offered us some free desserts which was nice. A few suggestions from a former restaurant manager (for what it is worth) - Hostess - When a family has been waiting 45 min for a table and you finally seat them, maybe let the server and the manger know so that they can be greeted ASAP. - A food server should not be running their own food on a Saturday night during rush...Ever. You should have and expo and food runners to do that. - Food servers should be checking with all of their tables every time they are in the dining area. It can be the difference between a 10% tip and a 20% tip - If you have a difficult table, let someone (manager, another server) know so your other tables dont suffer (we were not the only ones wondering where our server was) - All the staff (hostess included) should be trained to notice a table that is not happy or needs drink refills. While the food is still excellent, it simply isnt worth the hit and miss dining experience we have gotten the last few times. ...Next time well just get take out

First timer... Prices are average ($100 for 4 meals).. Table was clean. Food was above average with having queso, burgers, and chicken pot pie. Food took over 45 mins and restaurant was not busy. Had to ask server to refill drinks twice and chips once when they walked passed every 2 to 3 minutes and looked at table. Table next to us had couple come 30 mins after our order was taken yet were served and left before we got our check. Their food came before ours did. We had to ask for condiments as the ones we were given were empty. We had to ask for check and boxes. Napkins had food or snot stuck to it so we refused to use it or silverware wrapped in it. The manager, Alicia has brought a very negative energy to the Horizon 76 restaurant. She was constantly belittling and yelling at her employees, honestly it breaks my heart to see that so many young people working for basically nothing are being brought down to this level. We drove to Keller for a Christmas show and chose this restaurant after a quick Google search. The show was a bust, but this restaurant made our long drive worth it. We started with the cheese duck fries. The ranch that comes with it was so good and you could tell it was homemade. The ribeye was so juicy and tender, the chicken with cilantro cream and avocado was perfectly cooked; the cream was amazing. We also shared the apple pie and it was delicious.
