I went to the Cimarron location on Monday at 10:00am. I was seated quickly and waited 10 minutes and no one came to my table. I got up and told the hostess then I walked out. Very disappointing. They didn t have very many customers. Seemed there were more workers than customers. They seemed busy doing nothing. So unfortunate.

The food is great but if you order deliver or pick your order will probably be wrong. Ive had 3 separate experience with take out. 1st - order pick up well in advance for breakfast but when I got there the hadnt even seen my order and I had to cancel it 2nd - ordered a meal that came with bacon and added a side of sausage only got the sausage 3rd - order the same meal with an extra side of bacon but didnt get the extra side

This is definitely one of the best places I have eaten here in El Paso. The customer service was outstanding. Zeke our waiter was so friendly and attentive. He asked if it was our 1st time there and if we had any questions. He was very knowledgeable when he came to the variety of dishes. I ordered half of the red chilaquiles and half of the Baileys French Toast. I got both savory and sweet in one meal. The chilaquiles were lacking a bit of sauce. They were a bit hard, but had a fantastic taste. My favorite was the Baileys French Toast. Best French Toast so far. I highly recommend stopping by this establishment and enjoying a delicious meal.

Apparently its OK to let your children run around the restaurant like it is a playground and disturb other customers, but if you sit there too long enjoying drinks and conversation you have to be asked to leave, even though there was no one waiting for a table and there were other tables open had anyone walked in. I used to love to come here but the service has gone downhill. The hostess was extremely rude and unaccommodating. She said the wait to be seated would be 20-30 minutes. There was a dirty 4 top indoors and I asked if we could sit there and she said no they didn t have enough servers. Yet we could be seated right away outside .. make it make sense??? She could care less if they lost a costumer that day but with that poor customer service they lost a regular. We won t be back. Service is terrible!!!!

Ten friends and I dined there today. It was extremely expensive and the food was awful!! I paid 35 dollars for shrimp & pasta w tea. The pasta was way too hot w red peppers. Don t got here if you re a black person. Today I went to have breakfast with my young nephew. We sat outside and were comfortable. The food was good. When I gave my card to the waitress to check out it declined twice. Once when I was outside and once in front of me.I gave her my credit card, it decline. As I was on the phone with USAA, she restarted her machine and manually put the card number in. Which she should have done the first time she had a problem. While I waited looking embarrassed as the only back person in the establishment that she can t seem to properly check out. I was humiliated. To top it off when I hung up with USAA and explained to the girl how embarrassing that was and she could ve just typed the card number, she dismissed me saying Im sorry, idk ifs your card or my machine and walks away. It CLEARLY WAS YOUR MACHINE as you are handing me a check expecting a tip after all of that. I guess she just assumed I must be too poor to pay for the meal I just had, let alone tip? Terrible. This was my first time coming here to eat. It was recommended by friend. But I see if your party happens to be too dark, customer service and just basic respect isn t their speciality.

I used to love this place. Sadly I ve seen a decrease in service quality in this place. I talked to Manager on duty about how dirty the floor of the patio was, the pictures don t reflect accurately how dirty the floors are, but above all, how strong the awful smell was from the night before. People partying at the bar next door, living a filthy smell behind of a mix of dry spilled drinks, cigarette butts, and dog pee. Manager simple said they were not responsible for washing the patio, it was supposed to be washed off by the landlord maintenance personnel of the place. And didn t even care when I said as a manager, should make sure it is washed off and clean. So disappointing.

grove s food is delicious. The main reason for my rating is that the customer service is okay. The staff are always super friendly, but as a customer, when I get on the website where the restaurant provides wait times, and it says no wait, and I get there 3 minutes later and am told to wait for 20 minutes, that s just not great customer service. Just turn the feature off so I don t come when I m hungry now and don t want to wait lol. Otherwise, great brunch spot to hit!!

Good night animals of light Closing the day, and I havent written any of todays reviews Ah well, This morning we went to Grove Brunch Cafe on the west side of El Paso. The place, super busy, cool, trendy, cool atmosphere. The place is quite busy so expect a bit of a wait, especially on weekends. Anyway. We arrived, today there was no wait. I ordered the almond milk latte. It was, meh they served it to me slightly warm. The order took about 25, almost 30 minutes to come out Obviously I didnt complain or make any fuss about them. I just waited. I ordered the brunch burger and also the breakfast hash. The burger was overstitched. I ordered it, it finished medium, they brought it to me well done I didnt even return it So I just gave it mate. The other breakfast with the egg was delicious. Flavors not very common for me. So today I went to this establishment and with eagerness and enthusiasm ordered the Ribeye steak medium rare. Valeria took our order, she asked if we wanted drinks, I ordered a coffee. It was a party of 4. She brought 3 of the dishes and the 4th person in our party had to wait for her meal (All meals should come at the same time). My plate had a very small steak and did not look anything like a Ribeye and mustve been perhaps 3 oz. It was well done! Have to also note that steak came with no steak knife and I had to get up and approach another waitress to request one. So I brought up to Valeria s attention that the steak was well done and she stated she would return the plate for a new one. Meantime my party ate their meal and I waited another 15 minutes. At no point did Valeria offered to refill our coffee , I had to flag her to get refills. The previous plate had regular potatoes which were good and when Valeria brought new plate, it had sweet potato fries, so I asked her about the potatoes and said she would place an order and should be done very soon. I finished my plate (this time, it was medium rare and very juicy) and eggs but no potatoes...she said that they were still preparing them. I just told her to forget it. I asked for the bill and had a total of 140.00 which I wanted to pay but Valeria was nowhere in sight to grab card and bill, so I asked another waitress to charge me and suddenly Valeria shows up. Not a very good experience. I will never return to this place so as long as live here in El Paso I did tipped Valeria 10 % as her service actually merit a lot less but no more that the 10 %. Do me wrong 1 time.

While the food and service at this restaurant are typically excellent, todays experience was marred by a significant lapse in management. Approximately 10 minutes after ordering, the restaurant manager diverted servers and staff for a 20 to 25 minute birthday celebration, leaving my order sitting for about 10-12 minutes. Despite notifying my server of my time constraints, the manager showed no concern or effort to address the situation. The server, to her credit, was apologetic and offered the order to go, but the delay had likely affected the foods temperature. Its disheartening that an otherwise great dining experience was overshadowed by a lapse in managerial judgment.

Went today and was told it was a 20-25 minute wait I had a stroller with my twins who are 6 months old and I was waiting inside with my stroller since outside was very cold and windy(we had a party of 5 adults and babies, 2 of us were inside with the babies and the rest outside). The host saw me that we waited inside with the stroller & after 30 minutes they tell me I have to get out with my stroller because it s in the way. I of course got upset because they could of told me that since the beginning that we couldn t wait inside I would of understood but after 30 minutes they decided to tell me that I m in the way that I had to leave & go outside or wait in the car. The host started being rude when I told her they could have told me since the beginning & started giving attitude & asked to speak with manager(she said theres a sign & I let her know she was looking at us the whole time we were inside she could have let us know since the beginning ). Me and my wife ordered the Border burger and the Pork belly burger. I asked for medium rare and received well done. The patties were obviously frozen and not fresh, there was a lack of flavor on both burgers. Toppings in the burgers were small and added nothing, the pork belly was a small strip of meat and was awkward on the burger. The fries were alright just alright. We also ordered a vanilla iced coffee and a dirty chai, they were alright but not great. Service was lacking we waited almost 20 minutes for lacking food and we were waiting to pay for almost 10 minutes. Definitely not worth the $50 we paid, you re mostly paying for the aesthetic.

Both burgers I ordered medium but came out well done, that was a bit disappointing. Also I ordered the pork bell burger and it was just 1 awkward strip of pork on the side of the burger. Not sure if thats how its suppose to be but overall the burger was good.

A very good brunch spot came here for breakfast and the food was really good. Everything came out fresh and I had the chilaquiles which was really good. The orange juice here was also freshly squeezed which was a really nice touch.

Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down drastically. Every single item we ordered today had spoiled food in it, from spoiled vegetables to spoiled cheese and even the sides were spoiled. Being that my family and I are regulars, I wanted to give them an opportunity to right their wrong but was met with hostility and denial when I brought the issue up to the manager, Jessica Marquez. She kept interrupting me and refused to listen to my concerns, then belittled me by telling me I was wrong about my food and that it was somehow my fault I received the order late(?!!) and that was why the food was that way , even though she didn t once see my food for herself, and refused to give me the contact information for the owner. Unfortunately the customer service I received today was worse than the spoiled food we got, and I will never be returning and will be letting all of my friends and family know not to return.

I have no complaints against the kitchen or the waiters; the food is always excellent. HOWEVER, today for instance was a slow day at the restaurant. There were multiple open tables available at the patio and inside and for some reason it always takes over an hour to be seated. This has happened to us on several occasions, the last time I had waited with my three young children for an hour and a half before I decided to take us elsewhere. I didnt get the your table is available txt until an hour after we had left! Whats going on? Hire more staff. Wed love to come more often but this is ridiculous. Youve lost our business to long waits when there are open tables a few times already and I think were done trying at this point.

I Love this place! GREAT menu with so many options for even the pickiest of palates! Great brunch location, fabulous menu anytime of the day too! Wait Staff is phenomenally polite and actually really like their jobs there. That speaks volumes for a restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and has a good energy and vibe. Traditional seating, bar seating and outdoor seating. I love this place and recommend you give them a try. I dont think you will be disappointed.

Excellent ambiance and food. The chicken and waffles, burger, and chiliquiles were noteworthy. Everything seemed well prepared and fresh. The coffee was good, but I had to continually flag down someone for refills. The staff was friendly, but mildly distracted. We were never checked on once we received our food and we, like I said, had to ask for water and coffee refills. I would definitely come again but be prepared for slower, inattentive service. Maybe it was just the particular server I had.

this place might seem great on the outside, but its really underwhelming with its service and price. I love the food and service at Malolam at Montecillo more. okay, its a pub, but Malolams food is just way a lot better than the food at the Grove. its way cheaper, but well-thought! I mean the food at Malolam on Montecillo! and they are family-friendly especially in the weekends! Parking: first come first serve, so good luck! Kid-friendliness: very noisy.

This is for the grove on the northeast! My friends and I came in super last minute today as a recommendation and I just want to say thank you so much to the staff especially our server Alyssa for their generosity! The food was AMAZING, best chilaquiles we ve ever had! No joke - anyone who goes PLEASE get the X-mas, best of both worlds. If we didn t come so late we d probably would ve ate the whole kitchen! Octavio, our server, was outstanding! He had great customer service and was very friendly with a smile on his face. I asked for recommendations, and he answered without hesitation. I got a vanilla latte (hot), and my brother had it iced, it was so good! I love the latte art they added. My sister had the sweet potato pancakes, which were delicious! I had half and half chilaquiles and they were good too, but the red was a bit too spicy. My brother had the Grove burger and he was disappointed, but the fries were good! Lively atmosphere with many menu options.

The vegetables within my burger had a taste of sweet turmeric. Which didnt go well with the burger, so I took them out. My patty was dry. Coffee was bad . Overall, the burger was still good and filling. Chicken and waffles were really good. Fries and potatoes were also very good. As for the atmosphere, it felt like Starbucks, and it smelled like Sprouts and Amazon grocery store combined. The service was great and very friendly.

Worked here for a year before being abruptly let go with no reason. The worst part is that Michelle didnt even have the confidence to do it in person; it was over the phone. They have a history of treating their staff in this manner. This goes to demonstrate how this company has no morals as I was one of their top sellers and consistently won their monthly competitions/games. Despite the owners and managements claims to the contrary, the only family dynamic at Grove is between the servers. They are not trustworthy or loyal. They might want to consider rebranding. Considering how strongly you feel that Grove is a family. This behavior was extremely disappointing to see play out. Grove is not dependable nor genuine. P.S.- your music playlist sucks, the only good songs are the ones you stole from the playlist I made specifically for Grove.

Very mediocre food. You re really paying extremely overpriced unsalted eggs and dry bacon for the ambiance. Food takes way too long- last time I went I waited over 40 minutes to receive my food. The management seems interestingly a mess and the music choices are questionable. I ve gone to Grove for the past 4 years and it seems to be continuing to spiral downward. But I had an amazing sever who did her best to accommodate and make me and my parent feel comfortable. That was the biggest takeaway.

Great mimosas, worth the cost because wow - amazing. The chicken and waffles on the other hand.. the chicken wasn t extra crispy like another customer mentioned, it was a refried (reheated) piece of fried chicken, the ends of my chicken breast were so charred one piece was black and the other one so dehydrated. The crisp would fall off because of how hard it was - once again this happens when you refried something. So disappointing - how do you mess up your most popular menu item? And it wasn t packed to even say it was an oversight due to high volume of guest

Left disappointed after my experience eating at Grove Brunch Cafe. First off, I waited 45 minutes after being placed on a waitlist. When enquiring with staff why certain tables were not available, I was informed that those tables were reserved for other patrons, yet, those tables weren t filled until after waiting to sit down. The atmosphere (sitting outside) was chaotic, with about 6-8 different rowdy dogs, and seemingly no rules about customers bringing dogs. Food was lackluster, particularly felt there was not enough chicken. Potatoes were undercooked and cut too big. Service was also dissatisfactory, with a staff from the front desk asking if we needed anything else (seeming to get us to leave), despite having waited longer to sit down than actually dining at the restaurant. When the check came, it stated there is an additional 3% fee when not paying by cash. This should have been communicated before and not once the check was given. It seemed inappropriate and unethical on the restaurant s end. Considering the wait time, food, and quality of service, I would recommend driving 45 minutes elsewhere and selecting another restaurant to eat at.
