Had lunch with my husband and my sister. It was delicious. My sister and I had the smoked potato with moist brisket. My husband had the sausages and ribs. Update: Moist Brisket on 09-30-24 tasted a little off. Even my husband said so. But the ribs are off the chain delicious! I will definitely get them next time!

Ive eaten at Rudys in El Pado numerous times. The brisket or the pulled pork sandwiches have always been great. I also bought their cobbler which, except for this time, been loaded with ample amounts of fruit. THIS TIME however, my cobbler was mostly crust & virtually NO FRUIT. Im dissapointed

I ordered the half chicken. It was truly the size of a large quail. I can only believe I was eating an imported chicken outside of this country. My sides were bland such as the beans, slaw, and green chili something. The smoke level in the meat was subpar. Food tasted old.

I tried. I really did. I thought perhaps the first time was just an off day. But today was the mail I m the coffin. Potato cold AGAIN. So much so the cheese didn t even melt. I have been to El Paso numerous times and never knew Rudys existed. They were recommended to us by a colleague. It appears they like to repurpose old gas stations into BBQ restaurants. The atmosphere reminded me of eating at a church brunch with tables next to each other on long rows and a very high ceiling. Beverages are available in ice filled bins as you enter the cafeteria style line to order your dishes. One thing that somewhat irritated me was the lack of plates. Instead, they supply wax paper to eat off of - weird to me. The food was good. We tried a little bit of everything, and the Moist Brisket was the best. They can use a larger selection of sides. We requested the 3 Bean, but they were out. Probably the highlight of the meal was their Spicy Sauce. It is so good and spicy that I ended up buying a bottle to take back with me.

Delicious country BBQ with lots of smoked meats. You order everything at the counter and they pack up a box for you that you carry to your own table. First time at this location, but well not be back. Its a good place, but the food is served warm to cold. Good flavor, brisket was ok, not outstanding and cold, turkey was very good both kind of ribs were delicious. Coleslaw was good, but potato salad was more of an onion salad. The worst part was problem handling. The kid who took the order was a little confused and fogot to charge the turkey, we waited 20 minutes for the turkey and then the most irrepectful employee how was in the back cutting meat came to charge us for the turkey when we complained for the delay and ask if the turkey was already charged he told my soster to calm down or ask us to leave the restaurant! Not only shows how he should be treating his mother or wife but also has no idea about how to deliver proper customer service. Very rude guy should stay in the kitchen but never be allowed to talk to customers. I DO NOT recommend this location stick to the west side if you want a better experience.
