I love neighborhood bars and have had great service at Dewey s in the past even offered the option to order food from the Wing Factory. We went last week when DJ was playing -pretty empty but he was playing great music - he was a badass! The female bartender (with glasses) was eh got a simple drink wrong. We noticed people coming in and immediately leaving. The other female bartender was too busy doing shots. Someone spilled a drink on the bar big mess and bartender ignored the fact that a dude got his shirt sleeve wet Bar back dude was standing by register - staring into the abyss - crazy even he wouldn t help clean he literally just stood there staring. We truly like this place but man please look into some of your bartenders I get they want to be cute but if it s eating in to your profits and your bar is empty -maybe it s time to make some changes -

They let you order food from the other little places that are in the area. All of the little businesses Network around here. They have a very pleasant waitstaff... The tenders of the bar are cute.

An amazing bar over all great bartenders mostly .except for Emma she s always super rude super slow..one time I asked for a green tea shot and she said are you really gonna make me make that? and proceeded to walk away. She always has an Attitude. I don t understand when this is clearly her job. You are a bartender correct? Double charges from her as well.

The female bathrooms are terrible most of the time they are filthy. Doors don t close and the toilets are dirty and damaged looks very bad. The owner needs to invest having usable bathrooms for female s and have someone cleaning them often. The worst times are Friday s and Saturdays. The owner knows but ignores the issue. Someone needs to fix the issue or business will be affected. You can t just make money and not invest.

Good place for a quick beer. One and done. Order a bottle, NOT draft. Glasses, beer or pipes gave me a chemical smell and after taste. Two sips was all I needed. Bottles was better. Wouldnt choose to go back.

Opened a tab and when i asked to close out, female bartender said i never gave her my card. She apparently gave my card to someone else and whoever she gave it to barhopped all night using my card. Woke up next morning to an empty checking acct. Not visiting this place again.

First impressions are everything I came here with a group of friends. Was served extra hot beers in an iced bucket. Had to ask for a chilled pint glass. My wife waited 20 min to be acknowledged. shortly after, I walk up to the bar and acquired my own plastic cup. And used the ice with in the bucket to actually chill my beverage. I got off work, came here , Not impressed. Not sure I d give it another shot . The bar isn t that busy. Counted 4 open chair at the bar. Hmmmmm.

Unpretentious hangout with a laid back atmosphere. I like the bar however we had a bad bartender. Owner reached out to me and I appreciate that type of attentiveness. Decided to give the place a second chance and Im glad I did. Would recommend if you are looking for a chill place to hangout.

One of El Paso s infamous watering holes, Dewey s Corner Pub next to Coconuts is a must do when visiting the city. Stop in for open mic night where you can hear from the hottest new comics in the boarder area. Amazingly awesome place with $2 domestics during the weekday. Great alternative to its next door neighbor Coconuts which is also a good. Notice to night shift patrons: opens at 7am and closes at 2am :) However, the whole strip on the weekends falls to Lord of Flies, which riddles me how because it is literally across the street from the headquarters of El Pasos finest. Also, I am not crazy about the DJ that usually spins since he hops up and down on top of the stage and nearby equipment like an unentertaining monkey. Take away: go to and enjoy a drink on a weekday and enjoy great staff, prices, and patrons. If you want a chill place, avoid on weekends.
