We had not been to dine at Ripe in years since we moved from El Paso in early 2020. What a disappointment when we returned to visit & stopped by for brunch. 1st, service was extremely slow. 2/ Complimentary biscuits which came along with our entrees/- were cold, tiny and tasteless and took even longer than our drinks (iced teas and just water which also took extremely long!). My daughter also ordereda matcha latte which was served cold and was obviously just tea with cold oat milk thrown in simply tasteless. 3/ The brunch entrees were just as bad COLD roasted potatoes and eggs with ZERO seasoning (not even salt) and so-called green chile chilaquiles with no green chile??!! We suppose the unseasoned yellow peppers were their ideas of green chile. Overall, an almost $50 brunch was terrible and disappointing. (And no, we didn t send our food back, because clearly, these young, untrained young ladies were frazzled already. The responsibility lies entirely with mgt & ownership). Bottom line, unless this was a one off, especially after a great experience from a few years back, we DO NOT RECOMMEND it and will not be back.

30 july 7:15 hrs. when I came in the front was completely deserted. So I sat down at 1 of the orange chairs by the hostess stand and waited ....and waited..... and waited. After 9 minutes I left. Food was a huge disappointment. Steak benedict-Poached eggs werent drained so the entire dish was soaked with water. Vaquero dish was made with tough pieces of dark chicken, it ruined the entire plate. Will never return or recommend. Atmosphere smells like sewage.

The Ripe Eatery is a very clean restaurant. We loved their varied many options and they served Coke products. They are very accommodating and provide good service. They have fun food ideas that taste amazing. Grass fed beef burgers and lots of organic options. We enjoy coming to eat here. Its hard to decide what to choose off the menu.

Weve been to this place many times to include the celebration of several important events! So I happily chose this place again in hopes of having a pleasant experience once more! However, It seems like fate had a different experience waiting for us on June 1st. We arrived about mid-morning, and my bride arranged with the hostess to sit outside. Shortly after the hostess left, our drink orders were taken and delivered by two different people, and each said someone else would be by to take our food orders. Melissa arrived a few minutes later. I ordered my wifes food (she asked me to) and I made my selection and specified 2 things, I requested the eggs in the same fashion I have for the last 50 years (and she felt it necessary to educate me on the matter). I was also very specific on how I wanted them (without hollandaise sauce). When my food arrived, I was happy to see my wifes order was correct and disappointed that mine was not. Yes, it had the sauce I had precislely asked NOT to have... To be honest, I was dealing with a personal issue (death anniversary of a loved one), and the earlier condescending treatment from Melissa was enough to prompt me to escalate the matter in a manner that would have been less than ideal. I chose to cool off, muscle through the meal mostly to avoid ruining the experience for my wife. Once we were done, I asked for the bill and attempted to hand her my credit card, to which she reacted as if my hand was soiled with feces... I assure you it was not! I kept my cool and paid the bill, left an undeserving 20% tip (because Im fully aware of the typical compensation structure that exists in the service industry and inflation is horrible these days), and made sure to fill out the requested evaluation that came with the bill (which was either prefilled or started by someone else). I was sincere and accurate on the details, left my email address, and my full name. It is disappointing to see the management or the person who was supposed to read those evaluations did not contact me! It has been 9 days! Yes, I checked my junk folder, too... Im open to the possibility that perhaps Melissa read it and chose not to deliver it... Regardless of what actually happened, Ive chosen this venue to make my remarks about the experience. So, if youre ever at this establishment and you happen to have a similar experience, let them know (have the manager come over to your table). It takes years to create a brand and seconds to destroy it by uncaring staff (or perhaps are carrying out a hidden agenda).

Just took my girlfriend here for dinner! Upon walking in, the venue was already impressive!! Beautiful and very well put together. Food was delectable! We had the lemon basil ravioli and steak tacos! Both of them were lovely!! Our server, Savannah, was very attentive and polite. However, while the hostess was polite as well, could ve been friendlier. Was very helpful nonetheless! Good afternoon my little grasshoppers We returned to Ripe since they changed the brunch menu (they added and changed some dishes) I tried the Southwest Scramble. Very rich. Bring green chili AND chorizo. Light for my taste. It comes with potatoes and black beans (both things are very delicious by the way) And I also tried the Mushroom Avo Benedict. Very rich. If you are not used to eating this type of mushrooms, it may cool you down. We also tried the Vaquero Stack (this one was my personal favorite) I loved it served on top of the cornbread. And to close with a flourish we tried the banana nut pancakes too. I would have liked it with more banana but still and they were delicious. The service we have received in this restaurant has been the BEST, honestly. The girls are super friendly and attentive. The place is highly recommended

Service good as always, but some changes in the menu are disappointing. The delicious French fries have been replaced with shoe string fries which are not satisfying. The hamburger also appeared smaller and the bun different and inferior and not that good. Unfortunately my favorite hamburger the Bordeaux Burger which was exceptional has been eliminated from the menu. I am going to have to find somewhere else to go when I have the hamburger urge.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in West El Paso. Conveniently located at Solano Shopping Center, formerly Sunland Park Mall, this restaurant has a varied menu, with many stars on the menu. I do not eat here often since its a drive for me, but when I do I am always impressed. The last visit was for a special Valentines event that they hosted. The chef came out beforehand to explain the premise and then after the three courses to answer questions. The food was absolutely amazing. The ambiance was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant and, if you have opportunity, partake in their special events that they occasionally host. Once again, this last visit was unique and their regular prices are very reasonable. Vegetarian options: There was a set menu for this event with a vegetarian option, it was delicious.

The BBB. Notorious by name, I have been deceived once again. This burger tries way too hard to get your attention. From the name to the ingredients... sometimes you are just doing too much. Inside the bun, you have a blueberry jam base layer which lends a very sweet indulgent taste to your savory concoction. The meat is cooked well, which I certainly appreciate, so very rare you get a restaurant that respects the medium rare of a good patty. However, moving up from the meat, things start to go awry. Wow. That blue cheese. The taste is so overpowering and so bold it definitely usurps all the other notes in the burger and ruins the symphony in the worst way. The greens are nice and fresh, which is great when I can actually taste them. Sides to include a few options of which I chose the sweet potato fries at an additional cost. These are done well with a nice crisp. However, Ripe does not offer any special sauce to partner with their fries which is unfortunate. All in all, their burgers definitely range on the higher side in terms of price, but fails to justify this rate. I will definitely not be returning here and will take my burger fund elsewhere. There are definitely way better places in town for your daily burger fix.

I was very impressed by this place!! Definitely come and check this place out! Their food is fresh and soooo sooo good!! Family and friends met for a meal and everything started off well enough. Clean restaurant and sat fairly quickly. Ordered the omelette and a side of sausage. The omelette was a scrambled egg disk that was rolled like a tortilla for a burrito with no salt or seasoning. Easy to overlook this. What was pretty terrible was that once we were completely done eating, after reminding the server twice, my sausage was brought out. I was not interested now that I was done eating. Server said she would throw it away if no one wanted it. My friend said he would take it home. Then the bill came and the server added it to my friends bill. Opinions being what they are, I felt this was weird and a poor decision on the servers part.

Went for breakfast, after we ordered, 3 more tables came after us 10-15 minutes later. They food arrived 20 minutes before us. Service from some employees was fine but from our waitress was bad. They mentioned that they were going to send the manager it never happen. There was no proper explanation, it was our first and last time. First time back to Ripe in a year or two, we had a party of 3 on a Thursday evening. 6:15 reservation and they had a seat for us when we walked in at 6. We had planned for traffic delay, and there wasnt one. Staff was super good with everything, answered questions, all you would expect. Menu was a good read and we chose the swedish meatballs, a buttermilk CFC and a pork porterhouse. My Caesar salad was good, just not accustomed to sun-dried tomatoes in that one. The meatball dish was well received and a generous quantity. The squash mix accompanying the chicken was lackluster. The pork seemed medium well in one side and well done in another , maybe more like a piece of pork loin, not quite what was called on the menu. Still a good meal, just a little inconsistent.

However, The food was horrible, family got the meat ball stroganoff and my uncle had to throw up because it was so dry, the pasta would get stuck in ur throat making u gag. Way too dry. When you walk in, youre greeted by a warm and chic atmosphere along with friendly staff. Large windows bring in beautiful natural light and add a cozy vibe to brunch. I always get the eggs Benedict and it always hits the spot. The potatoes were also so soft and delicious, recommend breakfast here. Our server Annette was very attentive and friendly, even with our picky children. Very family friendly.

This was my first time visiting and I went with a group for Brunch. The service was excellent! Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious. I ordered the Benedict Salmon, and it was full of Flavor. We ordered the biscuits and jam for the table, and they were the best buscuits Ive had.

I felt rushed to leave, they were constantly coming to our table to ask if we want something else, and saying thank you, but the place was not full, so I dont understand the need to make you leave. Sunday brunch is always a must because of their freshly baked bread with jam. I orders something new this time , I got the smoked salmon Benedict and it was unfortunately disgusting. I was starving so I ate one of them but I felt sick after so I left the second one and just ate the egg with the potatoes . The smoked salmon was not what I expected. It was canned salmon , had no smoked flavor and I felt like I was eating cat food. Pancakes were delicious however and our friends enjoyed their brisket sandwich and French toast .

We had a reservation for 12+ people today & our waitress Valeria was absolutely AMAZING! She was extremely nice & friendly, she payed attention to every detail, & she made sure we were taken care of. She stayed on top of everything the entire 2 hours we spent there. If I could give her customer service skills a review of more than 5 stars I definitely would! The food was also great & we all enjoyed our time there. Definitely will be returning & requesting Valeria as our server for future reservations if she s available.

Unfortunately the food here wasnt very good in my experience, that said, service was quite good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice. I would recommend this place for meeting with a friend to get coffee but would not really recommend the food itself. Parking: There isnt a whole lot of available parking spots in the plaza itself.
