Fantastic food robust with flavor and meticulous presentation. Today s lunch items were: salmon tacos, ribeye tacos, hamburger, hibiscus jamaica and churro cheesecake (which is indulgent without the decadence). Robert Espinoza and his wife have rapidly established their restaurant as the new must-try in Laredo. Excellent service and light jazz music round out the experience. I ll be returning for their breakfast.

We visited for the first time to have dinner and had excellent food and service. Our server was friendly and the food was so delicious. Poblano fettuccine and the chicken parmesan were some of our favorites. The manager even came over to speak to us to ask how we were doing and really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Our kids can t wait to go back.

This was a really nice comfy place to go eat. The food was really good, zero complaints there. French toast with strawberries is a must try. I also had an omelet with poblano sauce for breakfast. It was on point. We did have a 45-minute wait time since they had a hard time putting 2 tables together. Try the cucumber lemonade!!!!

Late afternoon meal , it was served very warm and excellent flavor SHRIMP FETUCINNIE. Freddy was our waiter.Excellent service. ! Greeter and server were by door and were very welcoming. AUG 24, We returned to Magnolias with the family and everyone treated us wonderfully from the entrance and I make special mention of Manuel and Isaac who on this occasion and on a previous occasion were very fast and attentive with the service. My wife and I started going to Magnolia Cafe shortly after they opened on Market St. The space was obviously too small so when they moved to the Shilo location which is close to our home we continued to go once or twice a week. Great food, Great service, Great people! We recommend it to all of our family, friends amd neighbors. It is one of the Best restaurants in Laredo.

The service was terrible, the food was cold. It took them a while to bring coffee and it was cold. The restaurant was dirty and smelled bad. First time here. Had lunch with a friend but I was in the mood for breakfast so I had huevos rancheros and 2 lattes. My friend had the taco lunch plate and cucumber lemonade. The food was good and portion sizes were pretty solid as well. I noticed several tables ordering the cucumber lemonade. My total came out under $30 including tip. Friends total came out at about $23. Cucumber lemonade receives 1 free refill just FYI. I really want to go back to try their Italian dishes they looked incredible as well. Service was great and the ambiance was relaxing.

Haven t been here since they remodeled. Feels much more like a nice sit down place rather than an in and out diner. No more sitting at the corner table feeling neglected. The shelf wall adds a sense of restaurant privacy as well. The tacos de papa were delicious and a lot of food for the value. Everything was fresh and the tacos were light. Only issue was it took a little time to be greeted and seated if there wasn t someone already at the front.

They have a very cute sofa in the waiting area and a very well decorated wall behind it which becomes a very nice photo opportunity. My wife and I waited for a short time before getting a table , since the establishment was pretty full at the time . Once seated we quickly got our drink order taken by the waitress and soon after our food order.The order was brought out very quickly with the exception of my wife s order , by some mistake her order was not put in correctly by our waitress who is new there according to the owner. The owner took notice of my wife s order not being ready and rectified the issue immediately. As to my food that I ordered, I can t complain the ribeye chilaquiles in salsa verde with mozzarella cheese instead of queso fresco was to die for . You could taste each individual food item and I also ordered the loaded potatoes soup which had a rich and thick texture and delicious flavor. My wife had the poblano soup , she first gave taste to the chips that accompany the soup which taste a bit stale as if they were from days before, to the soups taste I would give it a 7 out of 10. She also had a taco de papa con huevo in a flour tortilla which she seem to enjoy. Our drinks where a cucumber lemonade and a magnolia drink (lemonade with agua de jamaica). If you like the bold taste of Jamaica and lemonade then I highly recommend this drink, I know I loved it. Our overall experience was a good one and would consider to be a returning customer. Oh and the price for our meal some would say it s not for the faint of heart we paid $89 and some change not to include the tip .

Definitely a beautiful and elegant place to come and enjoy with the family. Great music, amazing food, and genuine customer service. First visit to this lovely restaurant. I was left speechless with the taste of the food, first bite was heavenly and dont get me started on the service. I had this waitress (Rebecca) who was so sweet and attentive to everything. She truly made our first experience the best. Definitely recommend for you to try the different lemonades and magnolia style dishes theyre made by the gods. Definitely will come again asking for Rebeccas service. Parking: Very spacious parking Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly, music is appropriate at all times and the food choices for them are very elevated and delicious.

Restaurant advertised a special for cordon bleu at $15.00 from 11-5. Arrived before 400pm. Ordered that along other items. My total was way off (charged at $20) and the waitress just told me to look at the receipt . She didn t care. Why advertise and not honor prices? The chicken was a bit overcooked. Definitely not the greatest. This place is way overhyped.

The mimosas I can only describe as nectar from the Gods! Crispy chicken and waffles that married the complexity of salty and sweet, ribeye as tender as an Adele song! Staff was welcoming and showed appreciation for just walking in and sitting. Biscuits reminded me of an old bakery in town (La Reynera), one bite and I knew that this would be my new brunch place. Do not sleep on the green salsa, it is worth the trip alone

We love the food from here but tonight we got a Chicken Parmesan and spaghetti platter. They forgot to add the tomato sauce making it the driest spaghetti weve ever had. We called and they said they were sorry and that they would call back to see what they could do. No call, no explanation, nothing. Our loyalty might have ran out.
