The food always delicious, the waitress not so nice sometimes. This was my 2nd Day in a row to go for breakfast and the chocolate milk was gone. I felt a Lil hurt, because I always look forward to there cold chocolate . Other than that everything was great. My waitress seemed as if she was under the stress running around. I still will give her a 5 stars because I know its not her fault. Dietary restrictions: They will make food with any dietary exceptions.

Everybody was so nice until they messed up our order. We ordered over easy eggs which came out hard and actually forgot half of my partner s order. They became agitated when we refused a do-over and threatened to call law enforcement when my husband balked when that wanted us to pay for an uneaten plate that wasn t even right. All that fuss and rudeness over five dollars worth of beans and overcooked food. La Jeffa needs to learn some humility. They should have been apologetic but they were very very hostile instead. I ll drive across town to eat at a taqueria like Sal Y Pimenta (SR 107 & W Mile 3) in Mission, Texas where the food is great and the people treat you better (cleaner as well).

I went with my family of nine to this restaurant. Nobody was there to sit us. I walked up to a lady serving food behind some glass counter and was told to sit anywhere. We tried putting two tables together, so we could all sit. We were told by a waitress not to do so and to wait until there was room available and they would choose where we would sit; even though there was two tables clearly available. People kept coming in with small parties and sat on the tables available. We waited for them to sit us, but they made no effort what so ever to sit us or hold tables due to their sit anywhere rule. They just kept catering to people of small groups. We ended up leaving and going next door to **Mi Chula** restaurant where they immediately sat us and the staff was extremely nice and friendly.

Ordered 2 Caldo de Res to go on 2/29/24. Upon pickup I am told total was $25 and change.A text message receipt from CC is recd from Caporal for $27. I ask for a receipt because none is ever given. Receipt showed an additional $.96 charge labeled non cash discount. I asked for tostadas, she charged an additional $3.24 paid that cash, gave her $5.25 she gave me no change. Tostadas are FREE everywhere else. This was my 3rd visit. No more! Ive been charged $3.99 for 2 breakfast tacos and $4.35 on 2nd visit. No receipt ever! 1 week apart. This place is money hungry. Ask for receipt! I wonder if something else us going on? Beware!

TERRIBLE experience. We went for lunch today and first we asked if they had fideo because on the menu it showed as a side. The waitress went to ask the cook if there was any today and the cook said no because she didnt feel like making any. Since its Tuesday and the special was 4 ENCHILADAS Mexicanas with queso fresco as can be seen on the menu they have posted online, that was what we ordered. They literally brought red tortilla straight out of the package it seemed like and put shredded white cheese inside and on top. We have never seen enchiladas with no sauce, the cheese wasnt even remotely melted like the tortilla wasnt hot and the waitress Brought out hot salsa that was used for the chips and salsa to try to make it better and it was just terrible. We tried explaining to them that the wording they have on the special is misleading as we expected enchiladas and got red tortilla with cheese. One of the other waitresses came and agreed that what was on our plate was not enchiladas. Then another person in our party had the tacos dorados which come with either 3 or 5 and since I didnt specify I wanted 5 they brought out 3 so I asked for the other two as the person with enchiladas was not going to eat their plate so she could have some tacos and the 2 were of desebrada instead of carne picada as originally ordered. We didnt say anything because we werent getting anywhere with the enchilada situation so we decided to just mention it when checking out for their information and the waitress said well yall didnt say anything about it at that time. While we were there we noticed a different waitress waiting on another table and literally talking to them with her mouth full. I understand being hungry or eating while working but walking up to your table with YOUR mouth full is entirely unprofessional. Aside from the it is what it is attitude they had. It was just a terrible experience, we will not be going back.

The breakfast here was very good, I didnt order the Huevos Rancheros like I normally do but I ordered the closest dish to that, The Huevos Divorciados, I ordered the Deluxe version of it and changed the 2 salsas to be the same and for $8.99 you get 2 eggs, 2 fried corn tortillas, ham, chilaquiles, refried beans and potatoes. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was okay it was mostly cooked veggies with not much salsa texture (to solid almost no juice), the fried corn tortillas were very tasty, the ham was okay, the refried beans were amazingly full of flavor (probably a lot of Lard), the potatoes were very bland slightly soggy, the chilaquiles very vary simple not much flavor just a lot of cheese. The flour and corn tortillas were both really good, they serve you chips and salsa while you wait and the salsas they give you are both tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend the breakfast here, the place has a traditional look that is intentional.

This place has good food but the only thing that sucks is that if you are going to order menudo for one person to pick up, you can only order the large which does not make any sense. The staff told me I would need to come and sit in to get the small menudo. It does not make any sense why you want to enforce your customers to spend more money and throw away food that isn t necessary. As a customer, I should be entitled to order anything I like and not be restricted to order a large menudo just because I want a small menudo to go.

Great food. Bad service. Waitresses dont manage their time correctly and arent organized. I left with my mouth dry since they never came to check on my table if i needed anything like a drink. We had to raise our hand to get their attention. My parents had leftover food and we asked for some plates politely, and we never received them. We left without the food because they never took them. We also had to get up and pay.
