I ve been 3-4 times to the downtown Flower Child now and it s been great each time! I love their menu options and almost never have gotten the same thing. Every thing I ve ordered has been fast and tastes great! This spot is spacious with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and friendly staff. Overall, if you re looking for a maybe more healthy, home cooked style meal this is a great spot.

Honestly, for what they charge and what this place is supposed to be, it s mediocre at best. The food is pretty good, but the portions are insanely small for what you are spending. I probably won t go back again. And I work in the same building as this location. Plenty of other options around here that have bigger portions and are less expensive.

Definately expect a crunchy-granola esthetic if you venture in. But, once inside you will find excellent service and an array of fresh menu items to choose from. Gluten free and vegan options abound here, and you can feel safe knowing you food is prepared with care with since the open kitchen and prep station plan of the café lets you peek into the process. My favorite place to eat every time I m in the Dallas area! Every time I m driving through or slightly hungry I HAVE to stop here! They have amazing food selection. Service is 10/10 the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is EXCEPTIONAL! I can t wait to try every item on their menu. Also, if you don t know what to try, just ask for suggestions I PROMISE you could NEVER go wrong! Vegetarian options: MAIN REASON I LOVE THIS PLACE. You have options, food is masterfully flavorful, and you have each item label. Parking: There are a couple spots out front you are able to park for a short period of time if you re grabbing your order to go. Down the street they have free street parking as well. And they have a paid parking garage as well. Kid-friendliness: The space is large enough to have your kids dine in with you and i feel the atmosphere is very kid friendly.

I want to leave the most honest review, the food here is so delicious, innovative and plant-based dishes, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, you walk into such and inviting atmosphere, the prices are so inexpensive, and overall excellent dining experience that exceeds expectations. The ingredients are so fresh and the food gives such a natural energy. I came back the next day lol. Food feels super fresh, the service is fast and friendly. Very easy place to grab a to-go order, but also feels clean and welcoming to stay. Parking is also free and easy, which is hard to come by in the area. It s the kind of place you leave happier than you campe in. Truthfully, their happy hour prices might be sneaky best in Dallas. (*EDIT: Turns out they don t have a happy hour. Their base prices are happy-hour worthy though, which confused me). However no TV to catch a Mavs or Stars game is a bummer. It had been a while since I was back to this location. It was confusing - take out, pick up, order where but the regulars knew the drill. We were assigned our table by the time we got to order but we had stood in not a line for while. The lunch plate was amazing... Steak. Mac and cheese and broccoli - I didnt get a picture. Went on Sunday with friend and her daughter for early dinner. My friend got side of rice for the Mother Earth, I got just Mother Earth without grains and side of sweet potatoes. Her oldest daughter got spaghetti dish and youngest something with broccoli and mashed potatoes. My friend pointed that her rice was stale and crusty. My food was ok, yet I ordered with no dressing only olive oil on the side. My friend txt me late evening asking me how I feel since she got sick right after dinner. I kinda felt wishy washy, went to bed yearly, yet next day I got full blown vomit fest and extras. Her both daughters got sick too and we ate only at this location. I have never had such an issue at the northern location. So be aware costumers unless you want to take a chance. That s sad since I m fan of Flower Child, but for sure not interested to get food poisoning

Taste is great but lets be realistic, any health benefits gained from omitting meat and increasing the quantity of vegetables is completed negated by the outrageous quantity of oil they use to cook just about everything here. On par with Nashville fried chicken, gemma and Mcdonalds french fries for grease level. You dont need that much oil to impart flavor... Decor is lovely though. This has been one of the best food ventures Ive ever had. The enchilada bowl was delicious. Johnny, the drink master topped me off with the spicey margarita which was earthy and delicious. My husband and I are from Washington State and we visited Texas on October 26-November 2nd. We both have some dietary restrictions (gluten-free,certain oils )which most times make it hard to find places to eat. We like to ask the locals of the places we visit for their recommendations of places to eat ,so we asked for organic type places at a Natural Grocers and more than 4 people recommended Flower Child. We took that as a sign that the place was really good so we tried it and we were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Flower Child is a gem.It became one of our favorite places during our stay and we ended up eating there multiple days and some times twice a day. They have a good variety of foods in their menu and everything is absolutely delicious. Their service is great and the wait time is really good (your food is ready pretty fast I think). They also have a selection of drinks and I particularly loved the rose petal lemonade they have. We ended up visiting this restaurant at various locations and every time we had a great experience. Particularly at the Dallas location we were served really well and felt very welcomed and taken care of. We took our friends who live in Dallas and didn t know about this place and they loved it too (photo of the 4 of us enjoying the amazing food they serve). We 100% recommend this place.

Nothing to really write home about but serves decent grain bowls. A little surprised at the cost per bowl, and amount of food received. Was maybe expecting a bit more food given that it was a more casual and counter order system. Guess it s cause of the location? The salmon that came with one of our grain bowls was really small, even as a slight woman I had to say it was not sufficient. Beef was a little tough. Space was well lit, but there was oddly a lot of grains or crumbs on our woven chair seats and it was that way for the few tables I checked so I just gave up and sat down.

Disclaimer I do work here. Ive tried everything on the menu and its all good. What I appreciate the most are the options for vegan, gluten free, and the attention to detail for all allergies including washing the grill and using new cooking utensils to avoid cross contamination. Management is super knowledgeable and brings the whole staff up with them in that knowledge. Safe to eat here for everyone and good food choices for any diet. Atmosphere is like a friends house with comfy living room and patio. Dietary restrictions: Most foods can be modified to fit any diet, and a fair number of items are already made to be vegan and nut free.

Phenomenal. I work in uptown around ridiculously overpriced eateries and can rarely afford lunch. Here the wrap is tofu Thai wrap $11 and really great. Comes with a fresh mixed greens salad. Very good and fresh. Highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant! The Mother Earth Bowl and the Cauliflower Risotto were the most flavorful vegan dishes I have ever had in a restaurant! Everything on the menu is delicious, whole food, healthy and nourishing. As an added bonus they have calories of all the dishes on their menu and on online applications like cronometer! Cant recommend this restaurant enough!

While this is the only Flower Child I ve visited, I feel confident this is one of their best locations. The inside atmosphere is so pleasant and calming with all the plants, and it s one of my favorite spots to stop for lunch. Every food option I ve had here has been very enjoyable. Took the family for lunch today. worst experience ever. Wifes food was forgotten completely ,then when it was finally delivered to the table, the order was wrong. Manager never apologized or offered any extra for the mistake, barely even spoke. Then server had enough nerve to tell us we werent charged for her drink and did we mind paying for that , which we of course said no. Poor service, attention to detail, and managements attention to customer satisfaction and service were Zero. Choose another location, if you value any of these items. We lover Flower Chld, but never expected to be de-valued as we were at todays visit. Parking: a little busy but garage close to location
