Been driving by this place everyday and been wanting to try . I finally decided to go eat there , was really impressed with the food . Super good portion was just enough , tea was super good not to sweet . Server was nice and informative. Will for sure be going back , thank you for a great experience

Stumbled upon this lil gem while making a delivery down here in the RGV to Space X. Very simple menu, but the flavors of the food is great. The service is very personable which I loved and they make you feel welcomed. 8.2 out of 10. A must stop for heat food and service.

Staff was friendly and order taken quickly. Food was received timely. Food was tasty. Porkchop served with grilled onions on top, 2 eggs and refried beans on side with choice of tortillas was the special for breakfast at a decent price.

Initially when I first visited Diana s it was a great experience! It is actually a pretty fair place to eat;however, today I noticed something that had been occurring over the course of my visits. They are severely understaffed and I did notice ( I really don t mean this in a hurtful way ) the servers and not trained well at all. First example I come in to order breakfast and bring a friend as a first time visit. We both order the $5.99 special. Fifteen minutes later our food comes out with no tortillas. As this is happening an influx of customers come in several families all at the same time. Our tortillas are sitting out in the open another ten minutes as the server runs frantically lost as to what to do next meanwhile my food is getting cold and tortillas are still there! I did take note that there was a program on tv not fit for audience approval on at this point during the brunch hour and I bought it to the attention of the staff which by this point an hour had past still no tortillas. Well by this time I just about done had enough with their charades. I put an abrupt halt to their shenanigans and canceled my order my friend however reluctantly ate and was so disappointed and even more disappointed when he got the bill! He was charged near $ 13.00 for his $5.99 special and 2 teas Omg! The teas costed him $7.00 ! The temerity of some people Lesson learned we are never going back im better off scratching a couple of lottery tickets and winning $1,000.000,000 ! Lol

My friend invited me to come and have breakfast at this restaurant. It was my first time here. Its a very Cozy place. The waitress took our order right away. The food was good and the price was just right. I ordered the breakfast plate that included 2 eggs, hash browns, 2 strips of bacon, 2 flour tortillas and your Salsita. Coffee to Drink. Would recommend this place to my Family and Friends. Will be coming back to this Restaurant for Sure!!!!

I love how every restaurant has different ways of preparing dishes and has different flavors!!! Everything was good, just a little slow to get our meals. Will definitely be back. Sit towards the front of the dining room so the a/c isnt blowing on your table!!!!

I ordered the Deluxe Mexican Plate and it was so good. The waitress were very friendly and attentive. I love their sweet tea. Very cute place & very good food. I LOVED their choice of traditional Mexican plates & cups!!! I wouldve provided 5 stars except our food took a VERY long time. Perhaps thats the price you pay for fresh homemade breakfast, but most clients were done by the time we ordered. Well still go back if ever in the area. Service was super friendly & excellent!

We are long-time customers but lately I ordered something and after waiting 20 minutes the waitress told me that I didnt order what I ordered and she wanted to give me what I didnt order and the waitress didnt come to the table to see what was missing. Its not the first time. Lets see if they at least give a little bit of attention to the customer and improve their character. To the customer.

One of the best places for breakfast in Edinburg, they have queso fresco which is hard to find at all the restaurants. Tortillas are the best tortillas I have ever tasted besides my Mamas tortillas. Salsa is also delish.

1st time. Been driving buy for ever and never stopped. Today, I saw many cars there so I actually did a u-turn on Closner to go back. Very happy I did. I ordered the chorizo and egg breakfast plate, $5.99. Comes with bean and tortillas. Also had a barbacoa taco on the side $1.99. My wife often orders barbacoa for her breakfast so I had to try it so I could tell her if it was good. It was. Next time, yes already planning a return trip, I will try their menudo. The staff are very nice. The atmosphere is like sitting with family to eat. Good price.

Food is decent, service not the greatest! Waiter never came back to refill my coffee. I stopped him and asked him if he could refill my coffee and he was very polite and said yes, yet he never returned! When I went up to pay I told him he had left me waiting on my coffee and he just had an ohhh oh face! Manager offered one to go, which I refused I had waited very long.

Great little restaurant with nice ambience. Pretty decor with very high ceilings and spacious sitting. They are keeping tables separate so patrons social distance appropriately while they dine. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is available. This place is family run, with everything being Mexican grub home style like momma or abuela made. I had the chicken chilaquiles plate that comes with beans. I should have asked for a side of potatoes, but I will next time. Maybe even an egg or two on top. In any case. Yum! What a dish. They use fresh tortillas for this dish because you can tell how they come out. No bag chips here. The sauce was tasty and flavorful. They also seem to add a spicy pico while everything is sauteed and that gives it an extra super kick. I loved it, but Id tell them to chill on the heat if you happen to be wimpy about that. A great dish that showed me the kitchen knows what they are doing. Im sure they can make the more simpler breakfast dishes on their menu even better! Tortillas are fresh and appear homemade so that is good enough for me to put on the top of my breakfast taco list. I took a variety of breakfast tacos home and man were they all good and perfectly stuffed! Im salivating thinking of running over to get some now!!! I say run, cause Im like 2 miles away, but Im definitely taking the faster route of driving my lazy, taco loving butt over ASAP!! Oh and theyre red salsa is flavorful and hot, but not killer hot.
