I ordered a 6 piece catfish family dinner with okra and hush puppies. This fish tasted old and was not even edible. Wish we had gotten chicken instead this was a huge disappointment. They gave us a whole pan of okra that was half cooked. This location is not it. I will possibly try another location. Something told me to keep driving when no one was at this place on a Friday evening. Just wasn t enough traffic. Called they said the fish was fresh. I beg to differ. The breading is awful. We had to go and get something else.

Please update your menus. They no longer serve hush puppies, yet it s still listed on the menu. I had to keep asking the employee questions about the menu because it s not descriptive enough. I ordered okra and received a couple of large, undercooked clumps of dough. Surprisingly, the edible parts of the food tasted good. When I first arrived, i wasn t sure if the business was permanently closed or not because of the exterior of the building.

Ive gone to the Masons on Hampton Rd in Desoto and had far better service than this one. I ordered 2 of their catfish plates in the drivethrough. After having to wait for around 12 minutes with not a single other car on the parking lot I was finally given my food. Upon getting home I discovered that neither the fries nor the fish had nearly ANY SEASONING AT ALL on them. Largely disappointing, never go to this location unless you have to.

I have kept going for the wings for as long as I can remember but the quality of the wings and the recipe has not stayed consistent, who ever was the cook for the wings 2-3 years ago was what made me a customer. (Im assuming the cook changed) I see that the recipe is not going back to how it used to be for the buffalo flavor. So Im not going anymore. Today I got a 6 piece and I only ate 3. The rest is getting cold now as I type this review. Mason s charges too much to be serving swai and what they call flavors for the chicken wings, is really just a huge lump of seasoning on ONE side of SOME of your fried wings. UPDATED REVIEW (2022): Service has gone all the way DOWN!!!! What used to be a mainstay for my husband & I is no longer. The workers are rude, abrupt and seriously act like they dont want to be here. Change your employess to people dont mind being polite. They are young and dont care. My order was also messed up, then wanna charge extra for her mistake. I like good food, but your employees are terrible.

Spent 40$$ on our order.. shrimp and dirty rice seasoned and the best thing that I ordered! Fish special was ok im thinking it was swaii!!! Wings ok lemon pepper would have been better a little too much seasoning lemonade not fresh squeezed.. Clearly kool-aid... But food was okay plus didnt have to cook!

Came at 930. They made it very clear they closed at 10. We had a group of about 15 people so I guess they prefer no business over people coming in when they are ready to go home. Another employee was sitting in the lobby. Bad attitude girls that should stay home if they dont want to smile at people. Idk why this place seems to not be able to hire nice people. Its been a problem for a while now. We actually didnt want to come BC we knew we were a big party and had experienced eyes rolling before for bringing in big parties. But we didnt want to go too far. Cook is great and nice. Food was fresh to order. Old review: Well, food is still great but the lady at the register really needs to learn customer service skills. This place was great! I hope they stay in Duncanville. We went late so it was pretty empty. The food was awesome and fresh to order. The prices were great for the amount of food. Customer service was a plus!! Highly recommend this place! We will be going again!

Ordered catfish and got tilapia. It was so hard and dry as well as the shrimp. They were flat and hard as rocks. Fried mushrooms tasted old and the inside was mushy one bite of the coleslaw was all Mayo and hot. I was the only one in line in the entire place so that says something at 5:30 on Sunday evening. They could have prepared the food fresh to order. Never never going back. Two supposed catfish combos with an order of mushrooms and small coleslaw no drinks $32 ????

Customer service was not good. Upon entering a young black female came up to the counter and never greeted me or even asked to take my order. She just stood there. I asked 1 question. She said yes. I made my order and gave her the money. She gave me change and a receipt. She did say thank you, or how long the order would take. When the food came out, it was the cook that brought it out. He had much better Customer service skills. He asked what sides I needed, then bagged the order and said thank you. I think whoever the first girl who took the order is should be fired immediately. She obviously doesnt care about the success of the restaurant.
