I got married here in May 2024 and the venue itself is just stunning. The property is well-manicured, simple, and beautiful. I loved how this was a sort of blank canvas venue that I could really make match my style. After booking, some things switched around in management and it became difficult to reach the venue and I was starting to feel like maybe booking PH had been a mistake, until Lucy Stenhouse stepped in as my venue coordinator and absolutely blew me away with her positive attitude and helpful and willing spirit. She restored my excitement in wedding planning and seriously went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident in PH. I was so fond of her that by the time the wedding came around, I was bummed she wasnt attending as a guest. She was so responsive (responded within the hour) and made it beyond clear that she was in my corner and cared about my wedding. She also went out of her way to turn my attitude about PH around after I felt like I was not getting what I paid for from them, and she isnt even local to Austin. All in all, I was very glad to have booked Prospect House because it was stunning and once the miscommunications due to management changes were cleared up, I got top-notch service from them. But more so, I feel lucky that I got to work with Lucy Stenhouse -- she is the type of person you cross your fingers and hope for when hiring a vendor team and I hope I have the pleasure of crossing paths with her again.

We hosted our wedding at Prospect House and it was everything we dreamed of and more! The venue is beautiful with many different spots for guests to spend time. After looking at other venues in the area, we really appreciated the hill country views but the modern and minimalistic look of Prospect House. It made it very easy for us to put our spin on the space. The entire team at Heyens Hospitality was very communicative and helpful every step of the way. We really enjoyed working with Lucy through out the planning process and Alycia and Lexi on the wedding day. We would absolutely recommend Prospect House.

Prospect House was such a dream wedding venue! It s an incredibly unique space that reflected our not-so-traditional wedding and personal tastes perfectly. The outdoor ceremony space was my personal favorite part of the venue and the customizable nature of the building and grounds made it easy to design around. Lucy helped us navigate plenty of questions and was incredibly kind and flexible, and the bar staff was excellent the night of our wedding. All of our guests loved the space and the fire pit, corn hole set, venue-provided getting ready beverages and onsite parking were all awesome perks. There were plenty of great places to stay nearby and so many fun spots to eat, drink, and spend an afternoon nearby that made everything easier for our out-of-town guests. I highly recommend planning your wedding with Prospect House!

Prospect house is a STUNNNNING venue. As a Wedding photographer I appreciate the well thought out design, gorgeous landscaping, minimalistic but modern feel that you can literally decorate any which way you want. As well as the light here in all the rooms is absolutely stunning! If you love something a little different and architecturally aesthetic this is your place. Staff was super kind and i cannot wait to photograph here again!

This is such a fantastic venue. Its got such a clean and modern vibe and design which is quite different than most of the rustic venues in the surrounding area. It is literally a blank slate that can be transformed magically into any type of décor and look absolutely amazing. As a fellow wedding vendor we truly enjoy working here because it is so well designed for deliveries and set-up, And the staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly, and so attentive to detail.

My husband and I had our wedding at Prospect House in November 2023, and it was a wonderful experience! The space itself is gorgeous, and its recent acquisition has led to several improvements. The ceremony area and the view are stunning even more so in person. The getting-ready areas for the wedding party are modern and stylish, while having enough room to easily accommodate a large party. The reception space is minimalist, clean, and tasteful. We opted for more subdued florals and the natural design of the space easily stands for itself. We also particularly loved the bud wall! Working with the Prospect House team was great and they were very attentive, helpful, and communicative in every step leading up to the big day. Especially Elizabeth Juarez, who we loved. They worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, making it easy for us to enjoy the day. We even asked to use a caterer that wasn t a preferred vendor of Prospect House and they readily accommodated us. Some considerations for this venue based on our experience: The location is relatively far outside of central Austin, so we opted for renting buses to take guests to and from the venue, since we had a large number of out-of-state guests. Also, the central breezeway where (depending on your wedding timeline) guests will likely gather before and after the ceremony is not air-conditioned or heated, so depending on season that could be a challenge. Our date was a little colder than anticipated so we did rent some heaters to help heat the space to make our guests comfortable. Overall it was a wonderful day and we re so happy to have chosen Prospect House to host our special day and celebrate with our loved ones.

A Mixed Experience at Prospect House Our experience with Prospect House was a rollercoaster of emotions. Initially, we were excited about hosting our wedding there, but the journey was marked by significant disappointments. Despite maintaining an email relationship with the venue, attempting to discuss dates and pricing, our attempts to connect with them were met with silence. This lack of communication, especially regarding a significant event like a wedding, was both frustrating and unprofessional. In the aftermath of this situation, the owners of Prospect House reached out to me, acknowledging their mistakes and making a genuine effort to rectify the situation. Their sincerity in attempting to address our concerns was evident, and they tried efforts to make amends. While we appreciated their endeavors, we were too far along in the planning process to change venues, causing us significant stress and disappointment. While Prospect House did show commitment to customer satisfaction in their attempts to resolve the issues, its crucial for future clients to be aware of the challenges we faced in the planning process. The venues communication and organizational skills are areas that need improvement.

WOW. My husband and I just got married at Prospect House on 11.17 of this year and I cannot say enough good things about this venue. After we booked PH as our wedding venue, we were saddened to hear that the original owners had sold off. My husband and I were a bit anxious about the new owners and what may have changed - but to our luck, we experienced the most seemless ownership transition and we felt nothing but immense support and over communication throughout the entire process. I have to give a huge shoutout to Elizabeth who helped make this as easy as possible, but who also followed every contractual agreement that we had originally agreed upon. She helped us with new ideas, sent us images of the fresh updates to the site and even made sure that some of our large asks were met with upon reason. On our wedding day, we were dedicated a site manager. We were lucky to get Bianca. Bianca is hilarious but also hard working. She made sure to help where we needed and was always there for the smallest of things (like scissors - LOL!) BOOK YOUR WEDDING/EVENT HERE. I promise it will be the best decision you make

Our wedding here was spectacular! The venue is so cool. The ceremony area is breathtaking, the reception hall is so customizable, and the breezeway is such a great common area that looked stunning during cocktail hour as the sun went down. The flower wall is such a neat space too that is highly customizable. The bridal and groom suites are great too. Our guests used words like sophisticated and classy to describe the venue on our wedding day, and someone even said it looked like a Pinterest board. Working with Elizabeth - our client coordinator - was a joy; she answered all of the questions we threw her way with a solution-oriented mindset which was very appreciated. Our day-of venue managers (their names are escaping me) were also very nice and even helped solve a problem that arose on the day regarding alcohol. Even the crew that came in to clean the venue after the festivities were super cool! We actually booked this venue before it changed ownership in 2023, and the new owners have done a great job at subtly updating and modernizing the venue while still keeping its charm. Im so glad we had our big day here, and I would book it over again in a heartbeat!

Truly exceptional customer service from their entire staff. Diandra was always quick to answer my million questions, she was so patient when I kept going back and forth on ideas. I felt so uncertain about planning my wedding until I met Diandra and the staff at Prospect House. Out of all of the other venues I looked at they have the best communication style I have worked with and I would HIGHLY recommend booking PH for your wedding!! I absolutely love the light at Prospect House. Its pretty much a photographers (and wedding couples) dream. The entire space is designed to show off the beauty of the hill country landscape and provide a modern minimalist look for couples looking for an Austin wedding venue. I photograph weddings there several times a year, and each time I hear guests say how in awe they are of the beautiful space. One of my favorite things here is the simple and open concept layout. Makes it easy for everyone to get around quickly and be able to spend time together.

We used Prospect House for our wedding venue and couldnt have picked a more perfect location nor more flexible hosts to work with! We originally had our wedding planned for spring 2021 (booked in spring 2020) but, out of concerns for the safety of our guests we were able to coordinate an alternate date a year later with no repercussions from the Prospect House team. They are incredibly kind, transparent in pricing and communication, and all around great to work with - if you want a beautiful venue and great people to work with on your special day (or for any event) look no further!

Our daughters Feb wedding at Prospect House was absolutely wonderful! The new owners had the facility ready for us, and were very helpful with everything we needed - great folks to work with. Our guests really felt welcomed and loved the venue, scenery, outdoor ceremony, reception hall, the whole event. Our excellent photographer, Mackenzie Smith, was familiar with the venue, very organized with planning and capturing all the special and group shots we requested, and was very professional, friendly and enthusiastic throughout the event. (Im convinced shes found her calling in capturing your most special moments and memories.) We were so blessed that our beautiful bride got to experience the wedding of her dreams at Prospect House, and we recommend you do the same!

We booked Prospect House for our December wedding - it was honestly the easiest decision of the entire process. This was the first venue we toured and we immediately fell in love. Its simplistic architecture and white interior meant that we could do as much or as little as we wanted and we knew the venue would look absolutely beautiful. We ended up keeping things relatively simple but were thrilled with how everything looked and was organized. Their tables/chairs were included and beautiful as well. They were so friendly to work with and extremely helpful when we needed some last minute assistance with the event breakdown. Go out and see the property and youll see what the fuss is about - its absolutely stunning!

Kathryn and Erich have built a stunning venue in Dripping Springs and the photos speak for themselves. But aside from the looks, the owners are extremely easy-going and accommodating people, and made planning a wedding there a breeze! Prospect House was a unique wedding venue that blended the charm of Hill Country with a modern, sleek interior. After discussing the creative vision of the property with Erich, we knew that Prospect House would be the right venue for us. The venue is minimalistic and modern. Prospect House is all white, a truly a blank slate venue. This allows individuals to decorate the venue however they would like. The architectural elements are absolutely stunning. The breezeway was cool during the September heat and has a spectacular bud vase wall that you can decorate. The outdoor space over looks the hill country, which is an enchanting view. The natural lighting was simply elegant against the modern, white walls. The reception hall is very big and fits about 200 guests and a buffet comfortably (with a space for a dance floor). I would highly recommend this venue to everyone. Kathryn and Erich are wonderful individuals and are extremely easy to work with. They are both understanding and accommodating!

The Prospect House was a no-brainer when it came to our wedding venue. It was so beautiful, so elegant, and perfect for any type of wedding theme! Plus the owners, Kathryn and Erich, are the sweetest couple, and the most understanding business owners. They worked with us with changing our date due to COVID, and all communication was fast, friendly, and helpful! The reason for the three star review is because their venue manager was so outlandishly rude to everyone. She came in four hours before the wedding, yelled at my bridesmaids, myself, and my groom for no reason. Then didn t stop yelling at us the entire night. She was condescending, pushy, and made me very uncomfortable. Every person she came in contact with, excluding the florist, had a terrible interaction with her and complained to me about her. I would recommend this venue, but ask to interact with the owners only, not the manager.

Prospect House has always been one of my favorite hill country wedding venues. I work for a catering company and have seen quite a few. So for my wedding day, it was a no brainer. Prospect House is beautiful and minimalist, but so customizable to what your vision is. I love the frame at the altar, the bud vase wall on the interior, and the wind vane in the main hall. The breezeway is perfect for warmer days that allow guests to still be outside without actually being out in the sun, and the main hall has AC and heat, which is perfect all year round. We had a brunch wedding too, and had no problems with the venue even with such an early start. THANK YOU Kathryn and Eric for making our day special! {A NOTE for couples looking: consider a wedding venue with a good rain plan. You can never be too careful. It is one of the reasons we chose Prospect House - we could get married outside at the frame, or inside against the bud vase wall. Either would have been beautiful. Not many couples think of this until its too late.}

The day I had my wedding, the wind was extremely strong and knocked down my signs in the breezeway (they were in glass picture frames) and they broke. I would recommend having signs printed off and placed on a matte board, instead of a glass frame.

It is a beautiful spacious venue for any event. The flower chandelier was by a company called Davy Gray but everything else in the picture is from the venue. A little far out but totally worth it. Big parking structure so for parking no worries! If it is cold I do recommend bringing heaters for the front room by bathrooms.

Held the Thomas/Williams wedding here. Great place for a wedding. Indoor and outdoor space is well thought out. Beautiful view behind and all around the couple as ceremony took place outdoors.
