I have been going here for almost 13 years. This place has steadily been going down. I stopped for lunch on 10/1/24 and ordered the Fajita Asada Jalisco. The meat was so tough that I could not cut it with the steak knife that they provided with the plate. The rice tasted burnt, and the beans were very bland. Probably will never be back!!

Its always something wrong or the same girl that answers and take the order doesnt hear right. You tell her refried beans and she will give you charro beans. You tell her you want 2 orders of the same thing and she will always hear 1, even when she repeats the order back its all correct, but you get there and Everythings Wrong smh. Thats why I stopped ordering alot from them, its always something with that same girl.

Ive always had a good experience here. Waiters know what I like to order because I come very often. I ordered my regular burrito today and as Im almost half way through my burrito, I notice raw chicken in my burrito. The waiter confirmed it was raw. I was still given the check with the burrito charge.. why would anyone still try to charge me for serving me raw chicken?? I talked to the hostess and she removed the burrito charge but still had me pay for the side of jalapeños and my drink. Really?? Im being charged for jalapeños that I ordered to go with my burrito that had raw chicken in it. Wow. Waiters are super nice, but they handled this situation wrong. Its not about the money. Its the principle. Not returning.

Its a decent Mexican/Tex-Mex place. The service is fast and friendly, the food is pretty good, the price is decent. Id eat here more often if I was in this area more. I like the breakfast menu especially.

Payed for a pound of barbacoa, Also forgot to put burrito with my order. Had to drive back to get it. Got home and weighed the barbacoa and it weighed less than one half pound including the container. Don t mind paying for good service but when it seems to be plumb out stealing, Beware!!

Worst food ever I m not sure how this establishment has a high rating. My family and I stopped by after a few years from our last visit and all of us had the same opinion as to the taste and quality of the food. Tasteless, and not authentic or even close to Tex-Mex. Not sure as to what to describe it. Chips had an after taste of aged, I ordered the chicken breast mole nothing close to the taste I expected, one family member ordered the bistec-ranchero, not close to what it really is, chicken breast with green sauce, and a chile rellano, the sides rice, charro beans not good. The charro beans were not touched just by the look of it. It gave me an impression this food is ready under a heating source and then placed into a microwave to heat up the plates, as to the reason the plates are hot to the touch when they come out. It s definitely changed over the years, but not for better.

First off food was excellent !! But let me state this up front, we barely sat down and a waiter came and asked what we wanted to drink normally I d say that s a good thing. Not 10 seconds later another person came and asked if we were ready to order I said oh no not yet. The same person came back 2 more times in less then 5 minutes no exaggeration, when we said no he turned and looked back at my partner and rolled his eyes and made a face! I m not kidding then sent another person to wait on us. This is very rude and unprofessional the person who did finally wait on us was polite and efficient I tipped him nicely and we both said thank you and the food was great. Note with out your customers you would not be open with rude staff like that totally not acceptable on a lighter note happy holidays and on we go come join me .next time

No One Comes Here For The Food, but... We have gone here for years. Last night was worst it has ever been. Food was prepared poorly. The Chicken Bianco was served floating in a plate of grey liquid. It calls for a cream sauce... but this looked and smelled like mop water! I get the layer dip, the Pico was rotten and without color. The Guacamole my wife ate a few bites of was bad and we both have been sick to our stomachs since we ate here. The worst part is that they have changed their margaritas. They are now heavy sweet & sour mix, taste syrupy, and overall just bad. Overall, what standards they did have in the past have gone away. You are risking food poisoning if you ear here. As customers of Los Ramirez for over 10 years, we are done, and will never return again. I advise caution to anyone choosing to eat here. There are safer places that are very near by this location. ***Update 11/14/23: Business has not responded to review.

The food is authentic. The Enchiladas are OK and the rice is good. The price is very good. The portions are large. The California Burrito was massive. You have to order things that are more traditional, that s where they shine. I would have gone with four stars on the food, but, if you look at the bottom portion of the water glass, you will see black speaks on the inside of the glass that look like roach droppings.

We have lived down the street for a few years and have only been coming here regularly for a few months, but the fajitas here are NO JOKE. They either use really high quality meat or they marinate for a looong time. I brought my mom from out of town and she is so hard to please, I mean....one of the pickiest eaters I know and she LOVED the fajitas here. The chips, rice, beans, salsa, nachos, and even the tacos are mediocre at best, but I dont come for those, I come for the fajitas which is why I refuse to rate lower.

Delish!! The food was the bomb! Great chips and salsa and amazing enchiladas. The enchiladas verdes had a kick to them, which Im not used to, but I couldnt stop eating it either. Service was A+ too. They sat me immediately and all the service was quick. I never had an empty drink either. Ill be back soon!

Our service from the hostess & servers were probably the best thing all the way around. Our order was taken properly and promptly, as well as food coming out of the kitchen was fairly quick! The menu is quite overwhelming, the entire menu itself probably had 100-150 different recipes to choose from. However, our questions were not answered properly concerning allergies even when spoken in fluent Spanish. Having more than 8 years experience within the restaurant business I know for a fact ingredients are labeled on boxes, due to food & safety regulations required by state & federal laws, which we were told they were not listed. The tortilla chips were stale, as well as our flautas that were order as entrees. We asked for a Mexican burger no sour cream on the burger still ended up with sour cream, the ham was thicker than the patty itself. The atmosphere within the restaurant was hot & muggy, when your in Texas & you know it s 97-100 degrees outside, it only makes since to kick up your air. Most likely won t be going back and sticking to what and who we know.

The food was very tasty enjoyed it, however our server at first seemed good he took out order and the food came to us, he walked by a few times and never offered any refills on our coffee, he did offer some when we were done with dinner? First time to try. The salsa was the puréed roasted style, chilled. Nice heat level. Caso was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Two meals ordered, Chimichanga el Carbon and Alpaeso. Chimichanga dinner came out and the taco plate for the Alpaseo dinner with the statement that the main plate for dinner would follow shortly. Well it did not. Once the Chimichanga dinner was almost eaten, we inquired about main plate. Apparently it was forgotten by the kitchen. When it came out I asked for it to be boxed. No sense in two people eating at separate times. Didn t ask for any consideration on the ticket nor was any offered. The server was nice and seemed to understand though. Food was just good enough that we d try them again but not anxiously planning the next visit.
