Room was humid & hot, the sheets were moist & sticky pillows were flat and holes on the pillowcases. Asked for a new room, it smelled like wet cigar bud, hot & humid just like the first one. I personally do NOT recommend this hotel. Makes me not want to stay at any La Quinta anymore. Bad experience. Rooms: They were not pleasant.

I really wanted to like this spot but too many instances that makes this motel less desirable. Just walking in there was an overwhelming very strong scent of raid or pest control all throughout. For being sold out the vending machines were not stocked on any floor. The pool area was very tiny and many sitting water puddles every where. Little kids were bored with the tiny pool they jumped around inside the hot tub. Not fun when youre trying to relax. The lobby and breakfast area is very small for being a large sold out motel with lots of guests. Not to mention theres only one elevator to service this place. Just be cautious especially if youre trying to relax. Wyndham should do better!!

Checked in for quick stay and only could get 13 channels. Sports & church. Hotel was sold out so the best I could get was an Im sorry.i dont think I can keep the kids satisfied with sport & church all night. Room 219 tv was broken she said and somebody tried to fix. Not sure if it was them or someone before me because the menu was in Spanish and I only know English. Too expensive for this issue The Hispanics were having a full party with their drinks and music at the pool area. The front desk brought towels in and out and never said anything. It didnt brother me however if it says in food, drink or music if manager walks in they should enforce it

Had a very bad experience here. Stayed here with a road crew for 2 weeks, black mold in the rooms especially around the ac units, was blowing the particles in the air the whole time, by the time we noticed, made the GM aware, no one ever came to at least clean that up right away. Nose throat irritations after all that time Roaches as big as a thumb in all our rooms and wasps coming in thru the cracks between the wall and AC units. Pool water in which you can t see the bottom in 2,3 feet depth.Absolutely no effort made to fix anything that I saw, so we moved to different hotel. Can t believe the health department doesn t check on these things. Terrible. Young lady at the front desk was very helpful and professional.

My daughter who is a young mother of two with one child on the way, recently booked a hotel through an agency at this location to celebrate my granddaughters seventh birthday. Upon arriving at the hotel, checking in and entering the room she and her family immediately noticed and filmed a roach on the floor. My daughter immediately notified the front desk and left the hotel in a matter of minutes. She was told to get a refund she would have to speak to a manager the following Monday. The following Monday, my daughter called to speak to the manager, David, who informed her that the fact that they did not stay at the hotel was irrelevant, that he did not care that she is pregnant and had two small children in the room with her. He informed her that he would be fighting to make sure she did not get refunded even though she did not stay. Based on my daughters experience and multiple reviews that Ive read on this establishment, it seems that this is not the place you would want to stay if you travel to this area. Especially if you expect a clean sanitary room for your children, respect and common courtesy. I will be contacting the BBB as well as any corporate complaint line that I can find. These actions and the attitude of management at this location seem petty and unreasonable, especially for a business based on customer service and accommodation. Upon arrival, I was told I could not park my trailer and truck in the parking lot. They instructed me I had to park in the field. When I approached the field, I called one of my employees who was in the reception area and asked to confirm they wanted me to park in the field because I had concerns with the rain. They said if we parked in the lot and they need a parking space I would be woken up and told to move my truck. It was morning and we needed to leave at 5 am and I just wanted to stop somewhere clean and get a few hours of sleep to continue on our travels. I did as they asked and my truck and trailer slid into the mud, jackknifed and got stuck. They didn t offer any help or compensation and said I was responsible. I had to pay $250.00 to get my truck pulled out and only got 1.5 hours of sleep. The worst!! Regardless of whether they knew the field was safe or not, no form of customer service was offered to make up for THEIR error.

The only reason this place received a 2 star rating was the front desk gave good customer service. -Couldnt check in because rooms werent ready because they were short staffed. -First room had roaches and door would only stay closed if locked. -Unattended children ran halls and up and down stairs all day. Reported to front desk. Still went on. - Upon arrival, entire 2nd floor lined with trash in halls until the next day. - Moved to second room on 4th floor. This is the most rudest,,unbelievable experience!! I have ever had with staying at laquinta.I am a business owner and I always stay at laquinta.But I will no longer be staying with them.Upon checking in with them, I encountered a booking problem and while fixing the problem upon checking in. The lady Stormy would still not check me in. She simply looked upon me as if I was a homeless person off the street. I contained my composure I did everything she had asked upon request. To still not let me stay and get turned away as if my money was no good. Her customer service is rude!!and the way she acted towards white people was unbelievably racists.. The elevator did not work and people were having to take the stairs who were incapable of taking the stairs. Also upon waiting in the lobby her random selection of checking people to see if they had their keys was upon selection of color. I will not be accountable upon the color of my rationality and will be taking this to corporate.

This is the worst hotel ever to be in desoto. The sheets had BM stains when ask to have them changed they gave me sheets but told me I had to make my own bed. The pull out bed was tow up and stained. The pool is very small and walls are very thin. If u have noisy kids I do not recommend this place. I have 5 girls and we was just watching a movie and laughing, I got a knock on the door saying we were to noisy but u can hear people outside and in the hallways so the walls are super thin. The internet is trash I had to use my Hotspot. The only pro to this hotel is my daughters like the pool nor love just like. Keep in mind I had a bad feeling when I walk in and had to wait 15mins for someone to come check me in. This hotel needs remodeling and new management.

I was in town to attend the celebration of life for my late brother. The hotel location was perfect but the bedbugs were horrible. I killed the bedbugs and took them to front desk. The lady took my name and number down and said the GM would call when he gets in! Also, gave me his card to call him if I didnt feel like he had called in a timely manner. Do not book here, I sent the following email to GM David several times. I also called and left messages and he refused to acknowledge my concerns during my stay which included a roach imentering my room. Goodmorning, I am contacting you regarding my stay at your property Friday evening. Upon arriving the stay was nice and professional. Unfortunately, I can not say the same about the property. After checking in I brought it to the front desks attention that the food vending machine was not working. Then I tested the jacuzzi just to find it does not eat up properly. When I went to the room I had a few concerns as I was welcomed with a loud smell of marijuana. The neighbors were very loud all night, and a roach came into my room to pay me a visit. The carpet had an odor and dog hair on it. There were crumbs behind the bed. The purpose of this stay was to get away and catch up on work; however the wifi was annoyingly slow the entire night and next morning. I am seeking a full refund for this stay as it did not exceed my standards for the preceding reasons.

I wish I could give this place zero stars but I don t have that option. I had a few rooms here booked and David the manager knew that they were canceled even after sending him proof he still continue to take money out of my account and then I informed her that one of his mattresses had pee stains, and the room smell like pee. He did not address that issue at all. The buttons on the elevator were broken. We had to stick our fingers in a hole in order to push the buttons to get up and down the elevator, which was very very unsafe unsafe.

Katrina, was very helpful and quickly checked us in. She had a large group of about 15 arrive just ahead of us and she handles them with poise and efficiency. Our room was decent and the beds were comfy. However the furniture was very much visibly worn. The most concerning parts of our stay were the presence of mold in the bathroom and the amount of roaches we saw in the room. The fact we saw so many gave me no desire to partake in the breakfast offered the next morning. While Im thankful a room was available for the night I have no intention of visiting this establishment ever again

We have stayed at this hotel over the past 10+ years and have seen it slowly go downhill. We have had different incidents and issues - people coming into our room while we had no clothes on...being given the same key right after we checked in... toilet issues AC issues, etc. This stay we came in late and checked in around 2 am. Decided to put our snacks in the fridge and was greeted by a roach. Needless to say..for a quick couple hours from 2 and checkout at 11 am...it would have to do. Extended stays or full weekend stays...not a chance. Dont do it.

There were a lot of factors in way I gave a very low rating/review. First of all upon me arriving. There was a lot of dog poop on the along the walk way up to the front door. If it was night time and i would have no seen it. I told the receptionist twice it was out there and no one ever came to clean it as I was steady removing my things from my car. Secondly The internet wifi signal was very weak and the air condition unit in the window could not be adjusted as it was hot in the room. And as it was hot outside it was worst for me coming inside. Thirdly the rooms look very old fashioned and the light in the hotel room were dim. The light bulbs might have been low watts or a seldom color light but not bright as i would like it. Another issue I had was the elevator was down for a while which I had to walk up the hot stairs to the 4th floor. After the issues I had with my first room I was moved to a suite which by the way I was very grateful for. But the first thing I see when I walk in there is the old fashioned look and a rip in the cushion of the couch. And once again, weak internet signal which I couldnt get no work done. Do not stay here they will charge fraudulent charges on your card. The room had mole and mildew that made myself and family sick. The general manager is extremely rude and attempted to cheat me out of my money although the bill was paid in full and is still attempting g to charge my card to this day! I had to call my bank where I was told to report it to fraud, his own employee told me to lock my card. When called out on these fraudulent charges I was asked to leave! Nowhere to park due to bike clubs setting up barbecue pits and chairs in the parking lot. It was an overall BAD experience! They deserve no stars but you have to give at least one.

There are several reviews that talk about a bad experience but leave 5 stars, this is not a 4 star place to stay. It has been over 6 months since our stay, have yet to have my request for manager to reach out. No soap. Holes in the wall. (No hand sanitizer at breakfast either...) Told front desk, about the hole in the wall issue, and asked for the manager, was told the motel was out of soap and that the manager was not available. Indoor pool is closed... not sure if it will ever be open. Noteworthy details: No pool, no soap, hole In Wall.

Pool and hot tub are out of service alot, 2 trips both times they were closed, not notified at check in, other hotels in area same price, this should be shared when reserving or check in when amenities offered are not available, also morning management were not aware of both closed, seems like communication, also toilet ran every 15 min all night, asked front desk but no resolve, nice place but not when you want to relax Rooms: Nice, clean Nearby activities: Close to several food options,bars etc Safety: Far enough out of Dallas, secure elevators Noteworthy details: Pool and hot tub look nice, not open either times weve been there so ask when booking

Not impressed. There isnt a lot of hotels in this part of DFW. But we wouldnt stay here again. We picked this hotel for the indoor pool. But we werent notified until after check in that the pool was closed for maintenance. We requested a room overlooking the parking lot in order to keep an eye on our trailer but her response was no. Didnt offer an explanation or apology. A huge roach crawled across the bed when we were laying down. People were hanging out in the hallways and parking lots. It wasnt a good experience at all. Breakfast looked decent but we didnt stay to eat.

Rooms looked nice. However, they overbooked the hotel and didnt have the type of room I reserved. They never called to let me know. They didnt even tell me when I checked in. It was only after I got up to the room that I found out. They didnt do anything to try to make it right. And Im still waiting on the refund since I had to cancel and find a different hotel that had a room with 2 beds like the one I reserved there.

Booked a 2 queen bed room. Got to hotel checked in and was not put in the room we booked. Was not informed at check in that they had changed our room. Would not refund, give discount, and because I was not a member there was nothing the manager could or would do. Very unprofessional, very condescending, very much an all around disgusting individual to have to deal with. We left and will never stay at a Laquinta again due to this ones poor management. He would not give corporate number and just kept saying he was the final say. Very disappointed. Would recommend staying far away from this one.

Upon opening the door I was greeted with a room filled with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It was reported to Veta the manager she stated I would be given a discount for the inconvenience. I request nonsmoking rooms because of my asthma. We had an issue with a group of teenagers that we found propping the door open with a rock we removed it. They came and put it back and said your not keeping us out. I reported it to the desk, but upon my return the rock was still there. They did not belong there and were walking in a group through the halls we had to move over for them. We pay for our stay and this is our home while we are there. We should not have children bullying us in our home away from home. Nearby activities: Great area for shopping and eating. A few near by hot spots.

We got into town early and went to the hotel to see if we could check in early as I am a member. We got to check in at 115 and had choice of rooms. I asked to put on higher floor Bec I have a toddler. Which they did. Our room was amazing. Only thing wrong was the arm of the computer chair was broken. Which we reported. Pool all three days of our stay was amazing. Not many people and it was nice and warm. We spent hours there. Breakfast was amazing and service great. Only issuse we had was check out. We had a late check out. But we were packing up our things and it was 20 minutes from 11. But we had late check out which was 12. Housekeeping banged on the door and got upsat when my son wouldnt open the door. She banged again I answered and she like you need to check out now. I said I have late check out and she like check out is at 11. Okay it is 1040. And again I have late check out. She like u need to call front desk and tell them. I said they came to me this morning asking for my room number for late check out. She was rude and had an attuide. As we left out room at 11:05 to check out. She like about time. I already made complaint to the front desk over the phone and when we check out.. it has been an amazing mini vacation and hotel stay was awesome until we had to check out. ( ROACHES,NON WORKING MICROWAVE, HARD EDGES TO MATTRESS, BLACK OUT CURTAINS WOULD NOT STAY CLOSED) Me and my 2 sons arrived at 12:30 afternoon was told $39 to check in before 330pm to a room that I reserved on line and she said it was ready ,I didnt want to bother the family we came to see ,so u hesitantly paid the $39 to relax and get ready. The lobby was heavily perfumed with Fabulous sent or cleaner!!! Our room was just stiff and not very welcoming we left the room to go eat ,I came back because I left something in restroom in our room ,thats when I killed the 1st ROACH .. WE CAME BACK TO ROOM LATER ON THAT EVENING AND FOUND OUT OUR MICROWAVE DIDNT WORK SO WE HAD TO USE THE ONE IN THE KITCHEN (WE WHERE ON 4TH FLOOR) LATER ON IN THE NIGHT MY SON POINTED OUT ROACHES CRAWLING ON THE CARPET, AND I KILLED 3 MORE IN BATHROOM THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT AND 8AM NEXT MORNING.... WE just got up and started shaking our clothes out and packing, at that moment we didnt want ANY BREAKFAST AND THE BED WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!

We were in town for D1 Nation ALL AMERICAN football championship. They messed up our reservation. Reversing the name & the desk person couldnt find one of our partys reservation. Then when we got to OUR room, it had not been cleaned at all. This was after 3:00 p.m. Food in the fridge, trash in bathroom, dirty linen on the bed. We felt sorry for the black lady at the front desk. Georgias football were out of control while eating pizza in the dining area. She didnt know how to take control. The breakfast was decent. I thought it was gonna be cheap continental breakfast snack type. The elevator is so slow people took the stairs. It is healthier though. Step it up LaQuinta A Black Mr.Clean p.s. someone stated their bathroom had duct tape on missing tiles in shower. That was 3 months ago. I guess that was our second room. They said the furniture had worn patterns on their second room. I guess that was our first room. Geez!

We arrived at 2:30 to see if we could check in a half an hour early since our drive was quicker than expected, we were told no. We decided to go ahead and do a few things and then head back. I wouldn t say the front staff was rude, but they weren t exactly friendly. We came back, we checked in and the room seemed decent with no major issues. We did notice we didn t have any soap, on the way out we asked for soap and were told they would send some up but I asked them not to as we had our dog in the room and we d stop back by on our way in. Again staff not rude but not friendly. When we arrived back and asked for soap we were told they didn t have any. So none of the rooms had soap? The down button on the elevator broke and I told the staff and they didn t seem to care. We were there over new years so it was noisey, but it calmed down after midnight. The next morning at breakfast was fine, we left for a few hours and decided to spend the afternoon at the pool. My husband and kids went down only to return within the hour because the pool was green and didn t seem like it was taken care of very well. In the end, we decided to head home early. We didn t feel very comfortable there and would rather just go home.

Thru out all the hotels i stayed when trucking with my guy. This is on the nicer hotels i stayed in plus the staff name ty is amazing and sweet at the front desk. I would recommend here there bathrooms are roomy plus the hotel rooms. For the price it feels more pricey then it is and comfy. Plus enough food restaurants around.

When you book a room with LaQuinta make sure to inspect your room because the reservation could be set up through a 3rd party...our original room, that bathroom shower stall was horrible...there was duct tape on the missing tiles!!! The 2nd room had torn fabric on the sofa & stains on the recliner ottoman!!! Finally the 3rd room was ok but it appeared to have dried up splatter of some kind on the lamp shades but the bathroom was clean...just a word of advice BRING A CAN OF LYSOL DISINFECTANT SPRAY because everyones definition of clean isnt the same!!! This hotel was in Desoto TX.

The stay was fine and the staff is pleasant but there is a constant smell of cleaner throughout the whole building. During my stay someone was given a key and walked into my room, saying they were also booked for the same room,thankfully they were nice about it and took care of it at the front desk but it just further excentuated the lack of privacy. Every morning I was walked in on in the bathroom by the cleaning staff.
