My husband went to this practice over a year ago for a simple steroid shot. They ve been billing us for OVER A YEAR for this service. We call the office, they send us over to billing, the phone rings and rings and no one ever picks up. We are forced to leave a voicemail every single time & we ve never received a call back. We tried calling the office and told them that we ve tried for SO LONG to get ahold of billing to pay this bill and if we could please just pay it over the phone with them. They say that s not possible & forwards us AGAIN to billing who never answers the phone lol. It s actually insane. I ve never in my life had such a hard time trying to pay for a medical bill. Even crazier that they keep threatening to send it to collections too when they can t even answer the phone. At this point, PLEASE send it to collections so I don t ever have to deal with yall again. Such a sad excuse for a medical group. Y all need to get it together. We will never ever be back. And if you re reading this, I wouldn t recommend this practice to my worst enemy.

I can t get an answer on the app messages, they are extremely rigid with appointment times, unnecessary appointments made, and so on. It s a shame because I often don t like my physician and find I am my best self advocate and yet I really like Stanhope. I am very close to leaving the practice and taking my father with me.

So we normally see an actual doctor that has no problem accepting Texas Medicaid star plus. Due to his busy schedule the text service (theyre clueless) makes an appointment for my wife and I at the common street location to see a PA. After getting ready (shes super sick and needs medical care) and driving 30 minutes we arrive early just as they requested. Now the front desk informs us the this office doesnt take your insurance. Theyve had this info for over a year and not only did they schedule the appt they had me verify it THREE times! A PA is greedier than an actual doctor! We were denied necessary medical care over GREED. Im glad the actual doctor is leaving and so are we. What jerks.

Unless you love the kind of bureaucracy and incompetence normally reserved for the worst kinds of government institutions avoid the new PAK Medical Group (post-InnovaCare acquisition). This negative rating is directed at InnovaCare, the new owner/manager of what was once a trusted and reliable doctor s office. I love my doctor! but I detest the call center and clueless admins actively preventing me from contacting him. I tried for over a year, attempting to navigate around the problems, month after month, making scores of phone calls, enduring countless hold times and aggravations this review is long overdue. I have never seen a corporate buyout destroy the competency, capability, and morale of an organization so quickly InnovaCare has wreaked havoc on PAK Medical Group s front office operations. In my appointments, doctors and nurses have reported their desire to find a better place to work, free of the frustrations InnovaCare introduced. InnovaCare s call center and office admins are atrocious My doctor instructed me to DRIVE TO THE OFFICE to deliver my prescription renewals IN WRITING, rather than trust that my phone messages would be relayed to him. But that didn t work, either! when I walked in, InnovaCare s new office administrator couldn t even be bothered to convey my request from her desk to my doctor. Spare yourself the headaches. // ====================================== // To Whom It May Concern at InnovaCare regarding PAK Medical Group: I find it ironic you would request my contact information but it should come as no surprise. I have been your patient for over 3 years if ANYONE in the call center, front office or anywhere within your failing practice cared, there would be no need. I have provided every call center employee, front desk admin and nurse with my name, date of birth, and my concerns scores of times over the past 2 years since I was diagnosed with ADHD. Dr. Stanhope (a wonderful doctor, very helpful and engaged in his work) prescribed medicine which helps me manage ADHD very well. Because this medicine is a scheduled substance, I have to get a new prescription issued for it each month. No big deal, right? WRONG Apparently, InnovaCare has no way of automating a prescription every time I would call in, it was like the staff woke up in a new world. (And I thought -I- was the one with an executive function problem!!) This was not a one-time occurrence. IT WAS EIGHT TO TEN PHONE CALLS / VOICEMAILS, EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS. I ran out of my medication anywhere from several days to several weeks between prescriptions. I think you are aware of how cycling on and off of this medication can impact a patient s life some folks might even call this malpractice. At my last appointment, I asked Dr. Stanhope if there was any way for me to reach him without going through all of this nonsense each month. He told me to swing by the office and drop him off a note, and that way he would be sure to get it. Afterward, I learned Id received a prescription for only 15 days of my medication (30 tablets) clearly an oversight, we can fix this, right? OF COURSE NOT. This is PAK Medical Group, managed by InnovaCare. Calling the office NEVER works, so when my prescription got low, I dutifully took off work to hand deliver my request to Dr. Stanhope. After waiting for some 15 minutes while the two front desk ladies checked in two patients, I spoke with the office administrator. I told her that Dr. Stanhope requested I drop off a note whenever I needed anything. What I needed was a prescription for 60 tablets of my medication. She bristled, I am the office administrator. I ve had a little talk with Dr. Stanhope. From now on, he will be checking his Microsoft Teams messages. He will get the message I m typing up now let s see, you need 30 tablets . NO, SIXTY. TWO PER DAY. SIXTY. And with that, I went to Walgreen s to find I was issued another prescription for... 30 tablets. That s it, I give up. Y all won. I am finding another doctor.

2 years, 2 primary care physicians, each left the practice within months after my visit.....is it me? Apparently not. Im seeing many other similar complaints. I felt that both doctors were excellent (as much as one can observe in a single visit), so its not the medical practice thats bad, its the business end that must be driving them away. Its really a shame they cant fix this faster. Seeing a different doctor every year doesnt give me any confidence in continuity of care. Fix it and dont tell me to send an email to your anonymous feedback email. THIS IS my feedback. Please do something about it...no explanations or excuses are necessary or justifiable. If you cant fix it fast, just close your practice altogether instead of playing hot potato with patients and sending apology after apology via text.

My primary cardiologist scheduled me to start seeing a neurologist specialist here at this location starting two months ago in June. So far everything is great , my neurologist Dr. Ryan is great he is the 1st doctor for me, that has actually listened to my concerns and is addressing them. Like I said, my primary cardiologist referred me ( my cardiologist is wonderful, I thank her for the referral) but not my primary care physician, who should have made the referral. Unlike my primary care physician, Dr. Ryan has restored my faith that there are actually good doctors who are concerned about your well being and will do all they can to treat you with respect. I am concerned though, not about doctor Ryan but the reviews I have been reading. I have never read reviews for a website, where the first 4 reviews are negative 1 stars, I actually stopped reading the reviews after the 4th one. The reviews all mentioned the same thing, that doctors dont tend to stay - cant keep doctors/staff cause they seem to be on a revolving door, front staff is rude and not courteous and your are charged for unexpected procedures/charges. Thankfully I havent experience any bad service and hopefully never will but I will be observing. Thank you Dr. Ryan

Ive been very pleased with the services provided by Dr. Bartay and his staff. Requests through the patient portal are always answered quickly and my prescriptions run smoothly. When needed, the office tries to squeeze me in for appointments. I have no complaints. Ill continue to see Dr. Bartay with PAK. Hes terrific and takes good care of me!

Every doctor I ve seen in this practice has left the practice. This makes quality of care impossible. They also bill for appointments that you ve never had and with doctors you ve never seen. Every month they add a new appointment and charge for it. I wonder how many people they charge for appointments they don t have and never made. Please ask your primary care doctor to refer you to another doctor. Thanks.

Pak Medical run by InnovaCare Health is a shadow of what PAK was in 2022. It slowly became a non-patient/doctor relationship clinic. It is now only a portal for communication with my doctor. I cannot communicate with him besides on the portal which does not work in a timely fashion. If you have a question, you must ask on the site and you will receive a response in 2 days. So, it is untenable to be in a healthcare system with no healthcare. Its an answering service that tells you to go to the portal. A question I posted 3 weeks ago, has had no reply at all. So, I hate to change physicians since I love my doctor but there is no choice. Sad and inconceivable that they will remain in business.

I went in for my annual skin cancer screening and was charged for a cosmetic procedure. I called and the girl that answered was rude and immediately defensive when I explained. I m still being charged .Also, my primary doctor left Pak with only 30 days to find a new primary Dr. Horrible experience!!

PAK Medical Group has become a nightmare to get quality medical care. They have the nerve to have a banner claiming voted #1 choice. My wife and I have maintenance medication we been on for years in need of refills. H-E-B pharmacy tried several attempts faxing over the renewal request but they said they never received an authorization to refill. 3 attempts me calling the PAK customer service all said oh yes I see the requests from H-E-B pharmacy. Each time I call the representative said the previous person never acted on it, basically ignoring my request.

This is hands down the worst experience I have had with a doctors office. I have never been met with such a complete lack of sensitivity or professionalism. Every doctor that I have seen at this place has ended up leaving, and it isn t hard to think of why. Among other things both said and done by the practice, My provider was leaving the practice and transferred me to another provider. When I called to make the appointment, I was told I could not see the new provider, it did not matter that I had been transferred, and it was too bad. The receptionist made it clear that it did not matter if I was a current/longstanding patient, they couldn t help me and made it clear they didn t care to. In the year that I was a patient here, I have lost three providers. They cannot hold onto a good doctor to save their lives. Know that if you come here, you will be met with a revolving door of staff and none of them communicate effectively. They completely did away with dermatology services and let me know right before my appointment with a TEXT and no offer or referral to a new dermatologist. Wait times are ridiculous and it is difficult to get an appointment. There is virtually no communication from the office staff. You will be on hold forever if you call the office. Overall, you would be better off going anywhere else for your care, and a one star review of this practice is far too high. It was made very clear to me that the health and well being of patients is not a priority. Patients are nothing more than a number and a payment at Pak Medical.

I have been going to Pak medical group almost since it opened. I have my adult children going there as well as my spouse. Since Innovacare took over they have become more worried about their financial well-being rather than the well-being of their patients. I was just refused service because I didnt have a $30 copay and I was audibly and visibly sick it doesnt make sense. I thought the purpose of a doctor was to help the people not to be worried about their financial gain. And to refuse service over $30 is just ludicrous. That is such a small percentage of what my insurance is going to pay. I owe the desk clerk an apology. I know its not her policy and she was just doing her job but damn, I was hot!

I absolutely agree with the most recent reviews. My spouse was very happy initially. Shes been with PAK for a few years. However, Pak is under new management, and the quality of care and service has dropped off significantly. We just found a new PCM. We are glad to move on. This is just another case of corporations ruining healtcare. Great if youre an investor. Its terrible if youre a patient.

Where do I begin ! This place doesn t even deserve 1 star! This Dr. office as a whole is the worst ! They are the perfect example of everything a Dr. office shouldn t be. My husband has had terrible experiences with this group of malpractice. Their answering service is terrible and no one gets back to you so my husband had to take off work and drive there just to talk to someone so he could get his diabetic medications . He s had to go without for months at a time because they can t get it together and don t seem to care to either . Especially as a diabetic this is extremely dangerous. The last straw with this place was when the office lady told him there s plenty of other drs offices he can go to if he didn t like how they ran things . Still no medication and now he has to find another Dr. office . Unbelievable!

<RATING IS -5 STARS, NOT ABLE TO POST WITHOUT CHECKING A STAR> I recently received an email from Dr Woffords office advising they are are moving and wont be associated with PAK medical group in about 3 weeks. I called Woffords business number (PAK Medical) in an effort to ask them where theyre moving to yesterday, moved to hold music at 2:35pm (on a Thursday) I remained on hold for more than 2 hours, NO ANSWER, no CALLBACK. I called again this morning at 0935 and waited 10 minutes on hold, some woman picked up and when I asked to to speak to Woffords office she said He is with a patient right now as if she was at his front desk. She lied. She was at PAKs main office. I asked her to transfer me to his admin. She said she would and placed me on hold. She came back online to tell me she was NOT AUTHORIZED to transfre me directly and said I could drive by their office to speak to them. I AM THRILLED WOFFOD IS NO LONGER ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH A LYING, INCONSIDERATE GROUP OF SHYSTERS.

Update June 5, 2024. I reached out to Innovocare is all the comments to negative reviews recommend and I was reached out to pretty quickly by someone at Innovocare headquarters. I was told the fraudulent bill that I was sent (Pak Medical billed me for an appointment with Anne Shackelford that never happened, Pak Medical canceled my appointment when I arrived at the appointment time, I never saw Anne) had been discharged and I didnt have to pay it (which I wouldnt have anyway). However, I just received another bill from Pak Medical saying that I still owed them and that the bill was past due. Dont waste your time with these clowns. Update April 24, 2024: On March 15th, I came to an appointment that was cancelled by Pak medical less than an hour before the appointment time. I arrived and NEVER saw the doctor and today I was informed that they billed my insurance and sent me a bill for over $100. Again, I never saw a doctor and only spoke to administrative staff. Horrendous. Ive been going to Pak Medical for over 2 years and since they were bought by InnovaCare everything has gone downhill. Every PCP Ive seen has left, Im now on my third. The administrative staff especially at the SH-46 New Braunfels location are terrible and more interested in covering for their own bad behavior than taking responsibilities for their mistakes. Theres even been some instances where Ive questioned if they are in violation of HIPPA. Ive repeatedly asked billing for information and despite being told it will be handled no one ever gets back to me, I still dont have those billing records. At my latest appointment they asked me why I paid $360 at my last visit. Isnt that something they should know, since thats what you billed me? It all seems very disorganized and that most of the administrative people have not been trained properly and dont have customer/patient service experience or training. I do believe when things arent working properly with the administrative staff thats a direct reflection of leadership, which shows me that leadership at Pak Medical is poor. With that said, Ill give credit where credit is due and say that Ive had very positive experiences with Anne Shackelford, NP and Kristen Gathright who works in dermatology. They are both awesome, but unfortunately, you spend about 10-15 minutes with them per appointment and have to deal with all the other administrators for everything else. I hope that the new InnocaCare Pak Medical Leadership will not ride on the coat tales of Pak Medicial previously being rated so highly by its patients and put in the work to make improvements for its patients.

Worst experience ever. I love my Primary Care Dr. Bartay, but PAK is the WORST medical group Ive seen in my 30 years of experience with Healthcare both mine and my parents. I have been trying to work on a referral for physical therapy for 2 months and they keep sending it to the wrong people with the wrong body parts. They use a bunch of people overseas and the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. This has been incredibly frustrating and detrimental for my healthcare. Beware!

If I could this place a Zero star I would. I was notofed by the office my Dr. was no longer with PAK Medical months ago but informed I could remain a patient and given an appointment. They sent the referral for imaging and labs that I did before my schedules appointment which I took off twice to complete. I also me a reminder of my appointment only to find out Ive taken off for the 3rd time and they forgot to move me off my old Dr.s schedule. I left a meeting and wasted a day from work only to be told we need to reschedule you. Why didnt you call me this morning. Gross incompetence at its finest.

I would give 0 stars if I could - dont let the positive reviews fool you, look at the date on them and youll see that the majority of positive reviews are old but all their recent reviews are terrible. They cannot keep a provider for the life of them - neither my husband or I have been able to see the same provider more than once because every time we try to schedule an appointment, whichever provider we saw last has left. And theres a reason theyre leaving. They have massive communication issues - youll speak to one person who will assure you that something is being taken care of (med refill, paperwork, etc) and then when you check back in about it, someone else will tell you theres no request in the system and it isnt possible to do what you were told they were taking care of. For example, my husband needed a refill of his routine blood pressure medication so the pharmacy sent a request to Pak. After not hearing from them for several days we called Pak and were told that the prescribing provider had left the practice (not shocking) but that they would send it to the provider who took over for him and get it filled. After some confusion with the pharmacy, we called Pak back yesterday and were told that they already sent the prescription in and it should be ready. When we went to pick up the medication today, however, the pharmacy said they never received the prescription, so we called Pak back. Despite telling us yesterday that they had already sent the prescription in, Pak now told us that they cant refill it so were just SOL. The complete lack of any communication whatsoever, and blatant lies about what was done have now left my husband without his medication for several days and Im sure it will take at least several more days to solve, and Pak does not care at all. This is not the first or even second time something like this has happened and when you point out to Pak that you were told something different by someone else, they take no accountability for the error and do nothing to help you. Even if an individual provider is good, the horrific communication from Pak makes it 100% not worth it, especially because the provider will probably leave anyway. I cannot stress enough just how horrible this practice is - we used to love it but now they are absolutely atrocious. Please go somewhere else for healthcare, unless youre looking for a doctor that actively makes your life worse.

my doctor (tim hunt) is absolutely wonderful. im 66 and hes the best doctor ive ever had. Pak medical group is the worst entity ive ever dealt with. as much as i like doctor hunt im going to change pcps. i am about to miss my second scheduled surgery because the referral team can not get the proper paperwork to the ins company. not the first problem ive had with this (referal)

Have a mother in an assisted living center in New Braunfels where Pak s office has a contract to send a NP by monthly. Have been trying to reach her and now the office manager since April 12th. They are the most unprofessional group I ve ever had to deal with! My mother had a fall where she hurt her shin. Has been bruised, sore and has a knot on her shin so trying to get some help with getting X-rays. It has been since April 8th when the injury occurred while I was out of town. If I could give a negative * I would.

Ive been a patient at this practice since it began. Every person I have dealt with in person has been great. The staff was friendly the providers were wonderful. All of the providers and most of the staff I have ever dealt with have moved on. The practice was recently sold and appears to be a victim of the private equity buyout of Americas healthcare. Good luck getting a human on the phone or a specialist referral completed. It is unfortunate that the service has declined so much and so quickly.

This office is very unprofessional because they scheduled my appointment on March 29th 2024 and it was canceled the following week and so then I rescheduled for April 26th they said they have to reschedule again. If I could give Pak Medical Group a zero-star rating that would be much more fitting. I started taking my 17-year-old daughter there in Jan of this year and we have had absolutely nothing but problems. At our first appointment, we had to sit and wait over 45 minutes past the time of our appointment because they were running behind. My daughter had gotten some blood work done that day and I made a follow-up appointment before we left. That follow-up wasnt for almost a month which is a very long time to wait for blood work results. A few days before that appointment the office called me and said that Natalie wasnt going to be there so they needed to reschedule us for another month out! So we had to wait 2 months to get my daughters blood work results. At that appointment, we waited over an hour past the appointment time to be seen. I was told that referrals were put in for my daughter at specialty clinics and when those clinics never called me I called them only to find out that they had never received any referrals from Pak Medical. And the cherry on top of this absolute joke of a clinic is today they called me to cancel my daughters doctor appointment that was scheduled for this afternoon telling me that Natalie is no longer with them and we now need to find a new place to go because only Natalie saw people under the age of 18. This place is an absolute joke!!!!

This is the most frustrating medical facility I have ever dealt with. You don t talk to people in an office or even in this country when trying to reach the staff. My NP left and I was never notified. I went to make an appt and they said she is gone and the next appt they had would be in 3 months with another Dr. they have had 3 female nurse practitioners leave in the past three months! New Braunfels has become increasingly harder to find good healthcare and it s a shame. No where is accepting new patients even for residents that have been here a long time.

Terrible! My primary care doctor left this clinic. Now I can t get a refill on a vital medication. I was told I needed to make an appointment with another physician or physician assistant, which I did. I can t get in until April. They keep telling me they will call in a prescription for my blood pressure medication, but they have not, and would not do it. When you call this clinic, you don t get a person at the actual clinic you get a call center! I have asked to speak to somebody at the actual clinic several times and still nobody has called me back three weeks in a row! This is the worst medical service I have ever had I will never go back to this clinic again! They do not care about their patients. It is treated as strictly business.

Had 5 stars and went down to 3. Went and set up an appointment for myself. One day before I called to confirm and they said no its next week. Confused because I received a text message from them. Said ok. I showed up at the clinic on the day and time the text message stated. They said no appointment was on the record. They checked the system and said on messages it was scheduled. Went home without being seen. Hours later someone called and said there was a mistake, someone with the same name as me and apparently the same birthday as me (yeah right, Lier) got my appointment. They had her phone number in contact with the clinic. They said she said she got messages and just went to my appointment. Dont even know how this is possible. When they can mix up a person but then still have their correct phone number. But yeah it sounded like a bunch of hog wash to me.

Im not sure what is happening with the offices at Pak, but every time you call the office, you dont get a person working at the front desk; you get and answering service that takes a message and will forward it to the staff....but no one ever calls back....even with repeated phone calls and messages. (I see others have given similar reviews about this as well) Hold times are 15+ minutes. I have even gone into the office to leave a message for my doctors nurse, and still do not get a return phone call. Might be time to find a new doctor....

Pak medical makes it almost impossible to get an appointment in less than two weeks. I have used Dr. Baiamonte for a while being able to call for an appointment and be able to see her that day. Now if you can get someone to answer the phone two weeks out is the first available appointment. This is terrible.If you are looking for medical care I would look somewhere else. Pak medical doesn t care about patients all they want is your money. Two weeks or longer to get an appointment. Really

Absolutely horrible ongoing experience. Extremely long hold times averaging 40 minutes only to reach an answering service that can only pass a note along to the team and then never received a call back from the medical team. Their team sent over the incorrect medication to the incorrect pharmacy and they still havent fixed this, I am now about to run out of my medication as this has been ongoing for weeks! Their front office staff are not very nice or welcoming and treat you as just another file number. I am extremely concerned about how they are treating my medical care so nonchalant.

Been waiting on a simple refill for my routine BP medication for over a week. However, the first refill request was actually made by the pharmacy 3-4 weeks ago. Have been texting and calling the office every day for the past 7 days and get these: I sent your request again; A manager will call you; sorry we are doing the best we can; I dont have an answer for you, etc. None of it has happened and I was just told to call back on day 8. Absolutely not! This is complete bottom tier medical and should only be used if you can t see anyone else. Over the past two years they have offered the worst service of any medical office I ve ever seen. I ve been wanting to switch but the last straw was showing up for an annual appt, having to wait in line for 15 minutes just to check-in and being told the NP was not there and I d have to reschedule because there was nobody to fill in. I received no notification so I fee they should have to see any patients that have left work to be available for this. It s totally inexcusable and on par with the many other unprofessional moments they seem to have there.

The phone system repeatedly does not work. It is very difficult to get in contact with the office. Have tried to get prior authorization letters sent to my new Healthcare provider for diabetic medicines that Im now out of due to this office dragging there feet for 8 days and giving every excuse for why it has not been completed. Natalie Biamonte is the worst physician I have ever been to. Shes new to this location at Pak Medical Group, and Im hoping my insurance will cover moving to one of the better providers in the building. It took 4 days for her to send an antibiotic RX to my pharmacy. She apparently forgot to send the refills and medicine to treat the side effect of the antibiotic, though we went over it thoroughly in my visit. I have had to call almost every day for 3 weeks to request the additional meds, and still no call back from her. The girls at the front desk were always polite, and so was the manager I spoke with. We are ending the 3 week mark, and still no response from Biamonte and no meds are available for pickup at my pharmacy. Im going as far as changing my insurance if they dont have anyone other than Biamonte covered. Now I understand why her office in Canyon Lake was closed. She has a high dissatisfaction rate.

This review applies to the Account Services/Billing department of PMG; I have been contacting them since April of this year to correct an error with diagnosis codes submitted for labs ordered by a PMG provider. The codes were WRONG and MCR denied the claim for $200 + , which the lab billed to my CC. 3 in person visits to both the Common St. & loop 46 offices were made. Numerous phone calls as well have been made by myself & my spouse. We were told each & every time their billing department would re-submit the correct codes. 3 separate calls were made to MCR and the correct codes have NEVER been submitted. A lie is a deliberate false statement; an untruth is an in-deliberate false statement . What is going on PMG- I have been a Pak patient over the last 20 years!!! Update: 01/04/2024 No one at Pak has reached out to me via text, email or phone call. I did finally speak to a person in billing office who told me the correct codes were submitted and it could take 45 days to process. CONSUMERS: Don t think for one minute that charges for procedures ordered by your provider will be submitted correctly to your insurance company- pay attention to your Explanation of Benefits and billing info from insurance companies. Unfortunately I could be out the $268- if this experience helps just one person, I ll be satisfied.

After how this place has treated my parents, it s clear all they care about is numbers, not people. My mother needed test results read to her and she missed her appointment because of memory lapses due to a brain tumor. I have been a patient of Dr. Wofford at the Hunters Village location for over 6 years, many years before Pak Medical or Innova Healthcare have been involved. Dr. Wofford is a fantastic physician with genuine care and concern, he takes the time to explain and discuss with his patience. Since PAK has taken over the entire patient experience has declined, now that Innova Healthcare is involved there is a complete at total lack of responsibility and patient care. The central office staff is rude and unable to follow through. Their new system is flawed to the point that providers and office staff alike are unable to manage patient care. They are no longer a patient focused practice, their desire to isolate the patient from the provider is frustrating and dangerous. I have asked to be contacted by office management on multiple occasions, a request that is still unresolved. I repeatedly called and tried using the text messaging system to have a RX refill and could not get it done. I could not even get a return call. As well as my Pharmacy made several attempts to request a refill to no avail. I eventually scheduled an appointment with my doctor to get the RX refilled. On arrival, he did so without hesitation and apologized repeatedly for they appear to have a lack of adequate staff to manage the simple aspects of providing basic health care needs. They where very friendly and amicable from the registration to the Dr visit finally a great office to go to and they explain everything! Went back for blood draw, couldnt be happier this practice group is fantastic the phlebotomist made the experience relaxing and pain free. Kudos to Pak Medical in New Braunfels!!!

I must admit I was a little apprehensive about going to this group as I had read the reviews about not being able to get a hold of anyone and that the staff was rude. First off I was able to connect with someone when I called to set up an appointment and she was very friendly. When I arrived at their office the receptionist introduced themselves to me as it was my first time and that gesture made a great impression on me. My doctor, Dr. Gonzales took the time to really get to know me and asked questions about my medical history and really set my mind as ease regarding a recent injury of mine. He took the time to explain what I was going through, and when I could realistically expect relief. I was very pleased with the care I received.

Very Happy with Dr. Pak! He listened to our complaints about another office very seriously! And was very concerned about my fathers health. Tests were ordered! Referrals for Specialist were sent out! 10 stars for Dr Pak! I will make him both mine and my Dads new Dr.

Appreciate them squeezing me in the same day. Got in on time and was taken care of almost immediately. They pereformwd test to determine my issue and immediately called in a prescription for treatment. Excellent service.

I was happy with Pak Medical Group until I felt that Dr. Gonzalez didn t care and missed diagnosed me a few times so I m in the process of changing to a new physician but I can t get my medical records released, I have tried so many times and someone finally called but had conflicting answers. It s been over a month and they still won t release them. Very incompetent people work there. I wouldn t recommend them to my worst enemy!!!!

Arrived at Pak medical at 7:42 a.m. for my 7:50 bloodwork appt. I had pretexted the night before my name and # symbol and no sooner had I typed 3, (stall #) then send, and a kind gentle nurse was in the doorway motioning me inside. She painlessly drew my blood then taped on a cotton ball and sent me on my merry way in about 3 minutes. Great experience!!!

My first time going to any doctors office in decades. Wow, I left with a positive outlook for my health going forward. The staff were extremely welcoming and answered question with out shaming the lack of seeking medical attention sooner. I just turned 65 and figure I better take advantage of my new Medicare status. Dr Gonzalez was amazingly patient and really listened to my concerns.
